The apartment is situated between Kurfürstendamm and Potsdamerplatz, between the middle of former West Berlin and the middle of former East Berlin, near Tiergarten (park) with its recreational facilities in the trendy district of Berlin Schöneberg.
You live in a light, comfortable one-room apartment, 38 square meters large on the first floor. The apartment consists of a very well-furnished room with a double bed (2 x 2 meters), a couchbed, a single bed, two bedside tables, a dining-room table with dining set, a cupboard, a cable TV set, radio, CD player and cassette recorder with cupboard base unit, a kitchen and a white-tiled bathroom with tub.
The kitchen with electric cooker, oven, microwave and refrigerator makes it simple to do ones own cooking.
All important utensils such as dishes, coffee machine, etc. are ones disposal. There is also a washing machine and an iron.
Fresh bedclothes and towels available.

We found this location perfect and the price very fair. Quiet, but close to U-Bahn, infinity of great restaurants right in the neighborhood, all necessary stores nearby, ideal mix of residential and commercial. Owner and housekeeper both kind, prompt, friendly. Space well used for a roomy feel from 45 m2, with attractive, light furnishings. Spotlessly clean. A bit spartan by VRBO standards -- no soap, coffee, or extra blankets -- but essentials were there. Kitchen aggressively uses vertical space, but stepladder is provided. A few features inconvenient (microwave cannot be opened without moving coffee maker). Tenants used to big-city kitchens will be impressed by how much fits in, although only the bottom shelf of the fridge and cabinets are reachable by short adults without the ladder. It's a bit unfortunate that the main bed does not fold away, which gives this rental a bit more the feel of an hotel room than one usually seeks from VRBO apartments. On the other hand, Impressive amount of storage for the space make it possible for a family of 4 to keep personal items tucked away, so that the main room feels like living space. Stairwell and building not as clean or well maintained as in some other locations--but the price is better than those locations. Well lit, safe feel, very pleasant view from balcony into courtyard.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.
