My boyfriend and I traveled to Oahu for a family wedding and stayed at this house in Kailua with his parents. We had a FANTASTIC time in this very spacious home. Everything was very comfortable and super close to the beach. We especially enjoyed grilling out in the backyard after a long hot day touring Pearl Harbor. I would highly recommend this beach home for a stay on Oahu.

It was the perfect house in the perfect location. Very clean and cozy. Great backyard and great layout of the house. The beds were very comfortable. We had Island Snow every day on our way back from the beach. Sandwiches and coffee at the market, pizza close by and great food in the town. Two trips into Honolulu to see Pearl Harbor and the University of Hawaii, was easy and quick. The beach was awesome! Mahalo. It was the best vacation. I ran on the beach almost every day. Thank you for all of the boogie boards, towels and flippers. Great property manager and thanks for the owner's availability. We had a blast. We are looking forward to 2012! Thank you!!!!!

A great strategic location. Excellent Kailua beach within walking distance and many great beaches a short drive away. Spend the day walking in Honolulu and be glad you are staying in tranquil Kailua. Fantastic coastal drive from Kailua on Rte 72 to Hanauma Bay. There are only small waves in Kailua so if you want boogie board action I would recommend Sherwood Forest (Waimanalo Bay Beach Park)(Sandy Beach and Makapu'u are too dangerous). If you want some kayak action go out to the Moku-lua island and there is a great cove on the back side of the island to jump off if the waves aren't too high. There is a great deli, pizza, shave ice and kayak rental place within 50 yards. A foodies heaven is the Saturday Farmers Market FCC near Diamond Head (google it).

My family has stayed in this property two years in a row, and we are planning to stay there again next year. The house is well furnished, comfortable, spacious, and in the PERFECT location for a beach vacation in Kailua. There are lots of windows to let the trade winds blow through, th house is immaculate and the beds are comfortable. We had everything we needed for the beach...towels, chairs, coolers, snorkeling gear, even a skim board! Kitchen is spacious, it's great to have a dishwasher and laundry room as well. The cabana in the back is a great addition, we BBQ'd almost every night and enjoyed it way more than eating out. We also appreciate the wireless internet, safe for valuables, and the alarm! Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

This wonderful Kailua home was perfect for us, our son and daughter-in-law and grandkids aged 9 and 5! The airy spacious home was truly immaculate and very thoughtfully stocked. The kids learned to "ride the waves" (perfect for their ages) at gentle Kailua and then learned to snorkle at LaniKai just 3 minutes down the street. Property management was very responsive.

Our family LOVED your home. It was so clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We loved the patio cover you built. We grilled out and the kids had room to play in the backyard. We had so much room no one felt on top of eachother. Your photos and descriptions were excellent. The walk was so easy to the beach and being so close to the market made morning walks heaven! We were so happy to have the beach closet too. The boards, the cooler, the beach chairs made it so fun and easy. The outside shower was the best! The kids all showered off and we could hang our towels and suits out to dry. We loved having the washing machine and dryer. Just a great home and I would recommend it to anyone, with or without children. The kids loved the movies and video games. We were so close to downtown Kailua and great shopping. Pearl Harbor is a must see and we also LOVED the luau at Paradise Cove. Great family luau. We were very happy that we could get a hold of the property manager if we had questions. The beach was beautiful! Will miss it terribly. Thank you again for your help and answering any questions we had. EXCELLENT!!! Kim Gonzales, Elkhorn, WI

This house has the best location. So close to the beach, park, market and restaurants, you don't even need to drive your car, which is especially nice with little kids. The house is really clean, you'll feel like you are the first to use it. The bed in the master is especially comfortable.

My family of 6, including 2 year old grandson, spent a wonderful week here. We walked to the beach, played safely in the fenced backyard, and picked up tasty healthy meals and/or good coffee at the Kalapawai Market. It is an easy 30 minute drive to snorkeling at Hanauma Bay, a marine preserve. The house is comfortable, attractive but relaxing for a family vacation.I definitely would stay here again and recommend it to my friends.

We stayed here in April 2010 in both the house and the cottage. We originally took the cottage, but an unexpected plumbing failure occurred and the owner moved us immediately to the main house. Both are very comfortable and well equipped, and we cannot say enough good things about the owner and property manager, who were consistently prompt to respond to all inquiries, available and efficient in dealing with all questions, and above all dealt with our plumbing problem immediately and effectively to our complete satisfaction. The house and cottage are clean, charming, well-equipped, and comfortable, and we will definitely try to stay again when (not if) we return to Oahu. Kailua and Lanakai beaches, both close by, are beautiful, and we really liked the neighborhood and the convenient market, only steps away. Thanks Lisa and Debra!

We truly enjoyed our stay, the house is adorable and very clean and the close location to the beach and local market were PERFECT for us and our 2 year old. As was the well manicured, fenced-in back yard! The amenities were also perfect - everything we needed to enjoy the beach! Mahalo for a fabulous Kailua experience!

We just came back from our one-week-vacation at your house in Kailua and absolutely loved it. The garden was perfect for our 16-months-old son, he could have stayed there the whole trip. The beach was so close by that we went there at least 2-3 times a day. The house was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the holidays. Thank you very much, we will definitely try to come back soon again.

We have rented the house in Kailua twice now. We really love it. It has everything that you need to have a great vacation. The house itself is beautifully decorated and very clean. It has every amenity you could possibly need. My favorite features are the washer/dryer (no need to over-pack + we were at the beach all the time so washing the towels was a must) and the king size bed in the master bedroom. I also really appreciate 2 full bathrooms. We made full use of the kitchen and the BBQ on the patio in the back yard. We have 2 boys, a 6 month old and a 2.5 year old who LOVES the beach. It is really handy to be a 2 minute walk from the house to Kailua beach, and a quick drive to Lanikai beach. They provide a number of beach toys, boogie boards etc and big beach towels which we walk down to the beach with. They also have a cooler so we would load it with ice and take drinks/food to the beach. There is an outdoor shower at the house to get the salt and sand off which is really nice. We really like the Kalapawai Market (steps from the house). They have great coffee, and we would often stop for snacks or get an ice cream on the way back from the beach.

My family and I recently rented Lisa's house in Kailua and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The house was just wonderful with comfortable couches, chairs and beds. We really enjoyed the decor of the house and all the amendities. I have to say that it came equipped with anything and everything you could possibly need on vacation. We loved how conveniently close everything was. We could walk to a beautiful beach in about 4 minutes and a quaint little market in about two minutes. We could also walk to get lunch and shaved ice across the street and around the corner or just BBQ in the spacious and lush backyard. It was really not necessary to drive outside the property with everything so close. We did do sightseeing and this house was conveniently located to all the other attractions. We really liked the town of Kailua and would definitely rent this property again!! The locals were all very friendly and helpful. I'd have to say that it was probably the best vacation property we have rented so far!!

I just wanted to write to tell you how wonderful our stay was! The house was comfortable, spacious and your attention to detail really helped to make our stay perfect. The beds were very comfortable, there was every amenity we needed and it was so relaxing sitting outside on the patio in the early mornings for coffee and evenings for barbeques. I loved the proximity to the best beach in the world! It was very close yet still allowed privacy at the house. We used the lawn chairs, beach toys and the outside shower was certainly a plus. We travel to Oahu for a combination of business and pleasure every year and plan to stay at your home again. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!
