Why the Owner Chose Kamaole Sands
After traveling the world, we kept coming back to Maui. Once we found Kamaole Sands, we never wanted to go anywhere else. When we finally decided to purchase a vacation rental there was no question where it would be - Kamaole Sands!!! 15 acres directly across the street from one of the best beaches in Maui! The grounds of Kamaole Sands are breathtakingly beautiful - big, dancing fountains and ponds, Koi Ponds, a super sized pool that is always pristine and two jaccuzzi's. The kiddie pool is great for our friends and guests who have little ones, plus there are lifeguards at the beach across the street to help keep an eye out too! Tennis courts, rec room and fantastic views from our condo made buying to obvious choice. My husband's attitude was "if we like it here so much that we keep coming back, wouldn't other people do the same?" He was so right - most of our guests re-book as soon as their stay if over!
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
Kamaole Sands is in a great location - South Kihei isn't too busy, but close to everything! We are located next door to Wailea - known for it's famous golf courses and fabulous shopping. Of course, you never know what famous person you just may run into! Kamaole Sands could be a destination in itself - super sized pool, tennis courts, jaccuzzi's, lush landscaping and so much more, but it is also located directly across the street from a beautiful park with restrooms, playground, bar b que areas and a fantastic beach! Then there are all the shops and restarants that are within walking distance - a perfect location!
If you like to fish or go whale watching, Kihei boat ramp is also within walking distance and there is the local Maui Bus that stops in front of the complex if you wish to travel further.
Pilani Hiway (Maui's answer to the expressway) is just a few minutes away - allowing you to go to "town" - to places like Costco, Wal-Mart, Super K-Mart, Lowe's or a major 2 story shopping mall within about a 15-20 minute drive.
Kihei Town is quaint and the people are warm and friendly - Kamaole Sands is a large complex (440 condos) with a lot of amenties and is kid friendly. Our condo is located in Building 10 - the closest to the beach and the most requested. It has the Extra Large Lanai, giving our guests wonderful views of the Romantic Maui Sunsets and of the ocean and outter islands.
The ONLY Hardware store in Kihei - also has art supplies, fishing tackle and swim stuff
Cafe O'Lei - great restaurant at reasonable prices ($10 sandwiches) ($18 -25 Dinner. Try the Crab Salad BLT for lunch - wonderful and so yummy!!! Great Fish and More!

Welcome to our piece of Heaven on Earth! Some call it Paradise and we agree! Our names are Jim and Sandi Resheske. We live in Southern Ca. most of the time, but spend as much time as possible on Maui ~ that is where our hearts are! We are retired, but have two teenage daughters so are "still grounded" until they leave home. Once they are gone, Maui will most likely become our permanant home, but no worries, we will continue to keep our condo at Kamaole Sands for all of our "Extended Family" - Guests, like you!
From the time our girls were small, Maui has always been their favorite place to go. We have traveled the World and we agree with them, there is just no other place like it! There is alway so much to see and do that you never get bored, and if doing "nothing" is what you are after, then Maui if perfect for that too!
As stressful as life is these days, Maui continues to always bring a smile to our faces. Life is just easier here and a little better!
