Keywords:  Florida Beachfront House, private, beachfront, remote feeling yet convenient, romantic for couples and great for families

REJUVENATION was named by our guests. It sits uniquely alone on 325 feet of beach frontage. Its setting makes it seem quite remote, romantic, and private. Our beaches are clean and beautiful. The fishing both on shore and in the gulf is great. . We remain clean and beautiful . We are rented most all year because it's lovely here every season. The charming, newly decorated, spacious, three-bedroom home is BEACHFRONT. We have a DSL line, and a new state of the art ecofriendly bug control system, and a new board walk which eliminates many steps and enhances the ocean view from the main deck. Also we have added unrestricted US and Canadian long distance service. The long driveway gives ample parking for cars and boats. It is within easy walking distance to the Indian Pass boat ramp where there are local fisherman who will take you fishing. Or, enjoy excellent surf fishing from the beach in front of the house. Or bring your own boat to launch. The beach offers miles of beautiful walks, shelling, canoeing, swimming, and sunning. Rejuvenation sits on a dog friendly beach.

The two decks are great for watching birds particularly our eagles and pelicans. The upper deck which is very nice for private sunbathing has awesome views of the gulf, the wildlife preserve of Saint Vincent, and the bay behind the house. This deck is also perfect for star gazing and this area is recognized as one of the best in the country to see stars because of the lack of light pollution.
Because of the layout of the house, it is very romantic for a couple as a rejuvenating retreat but it will provide also
ample space for a large family or several families sharing the space. We have had weddings, baptisms, family reunions, quiet family time, authors writing books,or a getaway for 2. Read the comments.
IT IS THE PLACE FOR THE PERFECT GETAWAY!

The best beach experience ever

Guest: Phoebe (Atlanta)
Date of Stay: 10/01/07 Review Submitted: 12/11/07

I celebrated my 50th birthday here for a week in Oct. 2007 with 10 of my closest girlfriends. This clean and cozy yet roomy beach house was simply spectacular! It is in a beautiful remote setting overlooking one of Florida's last remaining natural sand dunes. We enjoyed views of the gulf, the waterway and an island teaming with all kinds of birds including bald eagles and peacocks. I highly recommend Rejuvenation for a relaxing beach vacation away from the noise, neon signs and crowds.

Christmas 2011

Guest: D N.
Date of Stay: 12/22/11 Review Submitted: 02/05/12

We decided that this Christmas we would spend it away from home and after a lot of research decided on Rejuvenation. It was a Christmas that we will never forget and the best part was that we felt like we were at home -truly a lovely place to spend time with family and friends!! Jim and Geri (property owners) were amazing, they reply very promptly to emails and the house was exactly as they described it - probably even better than they described. Great people and a great place - I would highly recommend a stay here as one will not be dissapointed.

Owner response:We appreciate our lovely guests that keep "Rejuvenation" with great guests the year around because they take the time to writing an evaluation. Come join them, Jim & Geri

Never Wanted to Leave Visited mid September, 2011

Rejuvenation was everything it was advertised to be.....we were awed by the beauty outside from the very first minute. The sunrises and sunsets are absolutely awesome. The house felt like home from the moment we walked in the door. It was nice and had all the necessities. The seaside theme is well stated in the home decor. The beds were so comfortable to retire to at the end of each busy day. But we were there to explore the outdoors. St. Vincent Island across the pass and St. Joseph State Park were both must sees with great white sand beaches and crystal clear water. We fished and crabbed off the beach by the house. The seashells were abundant and every morning there was a new selection from which to choose. The wildlife was abundant. Sitting out on the porches we could see dolphins in the pass, pelicans across on St. Vincent, eagles in the pines, and all kinds of different wildlife, but very few people. Our 16 month old grandson was in heaven.....we had to put Mrs. Geri's ceramic pieces up out of his reach because everything within his reach is a toy. We carried many, many memories from that beautiful spot on the Forgotten Coast of Florida. We have already recommended this home to our friends and family thinking of taking a trip to Florida. We thank Mr. Jim and Mrs. Geri for their kindness and for allowing us to share their little piece of heaven.

Owner response:We appreciate the lovely guests we are blessed to have visit Rejuvenation and so often return. It brings us great pleasure to know they enjoyed our natural beauty. Our natural bug spray system is safe and doesn't even hurt little frogs, geckos, humming birds, and such but allows guests to enjoy our 2 wonderful decks. The views are awesome and the stars from the upper uncovered deck are amazing. Thank you to our lovely guests who take the time to share their feelings. This is why we are full all year.

Heaven on Earth

Guest: Beth (Birmingham, AL)

We had a wonderful week "rejuvenating"!! We found everything we needed for my husband, adult daughter and our 4-legged family members!! Waking up to a bald eagle right outside our door is an experience we will not soon forget. Having a boat launch so close made it easy to come and go. We followed a group of dolphin one afternoon for hours! The beach was gorgeous and practically all ours...this was definitely the right choice for us. If you need more excitement, Port St. Joe and Apalachicola are just a short drive away. Geri and Jim were wonderful! I'm sure we would never have recovered our chef's knife had we left it in some condo on the beach...our landlords could not have been more accommodating...you should get their recommendations early on during your stay so as not to miss something only the locals know.

Mid-January to Mid-March 2011

Date of Stay: 01/11/11 Review Submitted: 03/29/11

Our stay at “Rejuvenation” was just what we wanted. We avoided two months of a cold and snowy winter, we walked on quiet and beautiful beaches with our dog, we watched abundant wild-life, we shopped and ate out in good restaurants in Port St Joe and Apalachicola, we joined the public library and did a course at the local community college, we entertained our children and their loved ones in a comfortable, quiet and ideally located house, and we met many charming and hospitable people - not the least of whom were Jim and Geri. We were very sorry to leave!

This house had absolutely everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. It's very private and you feel as if you are the only one around for miles. The kitchen is well stocked, there are lots of comfortable beds, and it sits only steps from the beach. Jim and Geri are great owners and made sure everything was just right. The interior is decorated with a great beach theme that really helps to set the mood. Leave your beach chairs and toys at home, there is a great collection already there. It's a short walk down the beach to catch the shuttle to St. Vincents Island or hop on a charter boat for a fishing trip. Wildlife galore, from a Bald Eagle perched right off the deck, to huge tarpon jumping just offshore, and every species of sea bird imaginable. Civilization is just a short drive away. Port St. Joe and Apalachicola are just minutes away and have nice places to eat and to shop. Joe Mama's Pizza in St. Joe had some of the best and freshest pizza we have ever eaten. We enjoyed or stay and plan to return many times to be "Rejuvinated"

A Beach Paradise!

Guest: livingwell (Perry, GA)
Date of Stay: 10/03/10 Review Submitted: 10/16/10

Our stay at Rejuvenation was wonderful! We are a family of four (2 kids ages 9 and 1) and there was something for all of us to enjoy. The boys had a great time fishing, both in the boat and on shore, while the little one and I just played in the sand and water. The home is very pleasant. The beds were very comfortable (waterbeds upstairs) and it was very clean! Also, we loved the location at the end of Indian Pass. I was able to easily walk my jogging stroller around to the beach rather than haul it up and down the steps and the boys had easy access to the boat ramp. (Don't let the pictures of the stairs going down to the beach scare you. They weren't as bad as the picture makes it look. Note: this is a two-story house so if you have a little one you may want to bring a baby gate to use inside. The porch has a gate.) There were lots of beach toys available for the kids and games and puzzles inside in case of rain. The view from the top deck was breathtaking and so peaceful at night. We saw eagles and lots of hummingbirds...one actually landed on my son's hand! If you are looking for a non-crowded beach, this is the one to come to. There wasn't much surf, so if you are wanting to play in the waves you would need to go to the nearby state park (maybe six miles away). I personally enjoyed the calm waters here but everyone is different. I would definitely recommend this house to others and hope to visit again. The owners are super nice and make you feel very welcome!

Date of Stay: 07/18/09 Review Submitted: 08/31/10

Our family has very fond memories of our stay at your home in Port St. Joe. Truly, this was one of our most memorable holidays and we really returned refreshed, tanned!, and rejuvenated. Oh how we dream about those long, hot summer days when we would wake up any time, and go to bed late. The beach was so clean, and so quiet, we really miss being there. We hope to return one day soon and hope that the area remains pristine and unspoilt.

Private and relaxing

Guest: sanford4641 (Ostrander, Ohio)
Date of Stay: 05/24/09 Review Submitted: 07/09/10

We stayed at Rejuvenation about two months after a death in our family left us in great need of a getaway. It was exactly what we desired. It was secluded and quiet and natural – everything we wanted to take our minds off of the reality back home. The surf fishing was great, the white sand beach was breathtaking, and the water warm and inviting. This area is especially noncommercial and natural, like no other beach I’ve ever visited. The only beaches I’ve visited that rival the naturalness of this part of Indian Pass are on small, uninhabited islands in the Caribbean. We tried to book this house for a vacation again this summer (2010), but it was already taken the week we wanted to go. We ended up in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, and we had a great time, but we’re already thinking about 2011 and the possibility of staying at this house again.

A breath of fresh air

Date of Stay: 07/05/09 Review Submitted: 07/02/10

Wow we had a wonderful time!! The house was a home we felt so comfortable there. We did enjoy the days on the beach and we did get to see some dolphins also which was awesome. If you want the very best water you have ever seen that would be right down the road at Cape San Blas, or St. Joe state park. You won't have to pay the $6 to get in because you can go to the beach access right before you get there and spend a great day, even if you just want to sit and look at the ocean the water is so clear and beautiful. We did go into Apalachacola and had the very best beer battered fish ever, the name of the place is Seafood grill, it was the best fish, we really wanted to go back again but just didn't have time. The shops there are so unique you could look around and stay in one store a long time. We loved the house, and the nature that was around the house, but the best swimming is just up the road. We would like to thank that homeowners for the wonderful welcoming gift and the use of their home. It was the first vacation for my son, his wife and two kids, I don't thing I have ever seen any children more excited than they were. I truely did fill rejuvenated when we left, the kids cried saying they wanted to live there.
