This "castle" with its covered bridge-over-moat entry, boasts three bedrooms including two master suites, three baths, a fantastic gourmet kitchen, and an entertainment center with wet bar.
The log walls are complimented by extensive Honduran mahogany paneling and built-in furniture of yacht quality and character.
This castle is available for rent from June 1st to October 15th.
Kitchen has commercial stove with griddle, salamander, and lacks nothing for the gourmet cook, including all equipment for both continental and oriental cooking, including wok, bamboo steamers etc. Dishwasher, microwave, toasters, boilers, mixers, blenders etc.
Dining area has banquette seating for 10 people around custom mahogany table with great view. Nine different levels (most rooms are split-level) with central tower and two wings. Entrance is over a covered bridge and dry moat. Lots of ceiling fans.
Large living room (20' x 30') with cathedral ceiling and massive stone fireplace. Extensive use of built-in, custom furniture and paneling of Honduran mahogany. Charming and unique use of wood in style of a custom yacht. Entertainment area with custom mahogany wet bar opening onto a 1200 square foot multi-level deck.
Complete equipment for all outdoor cooking including BBQ, smoker, deep-fryer, steamers for lobster and clams. Waterfront deck/dock, ramp and float, with two moorings (3200 pounds and 2200 pounds granite with half inch stainless steel chain). Manicured lawn on the waterfront with very gentle slope. Vegetable and herb garden for the cook(s).
Observation tower for private sunbathing and/or whatever. Also: very private (at end of a private road) yet just a short walk to the village of East Boothbay with post office, general store, church, marina and boatyards, restaurant/bar.
