This spacious home was purchased and lovingly remodeled in 2004, keeping in mind the owners’ long list of amenities that make for the perfect beach vacation home. Showcasing an over sized (20’ X 30’) screen porch surrounded by ample sun decking all around, your family will find itself mingling Oceanside in the fresh Low Country breezes and under the beautiful Carolina skies. The Turtle Nest also boasts a vast living area surrounded by windows, elegantly bedecked with beautiful oak floors, and warmed during the chilly months by a gas fireplace. French doors from the living area lead to the spectacular screened porch and elevated deck.
Connected to the family room by a lofty vaulted ceiling, the kitchen was redesigned with large groups in mind, offering plenty of space for several cooks and seating for 15. The living, kitchen, and outdoor areas, complimented by the magnificent Atlantic Ocean, offer the perfect venue for memorable gatherings of family and friends.
In addition to an ideal living & entertaining arrangement, this wonderful home has 5 bedrooms, 3 & 1/2 baths, separated into two living quarters, perfect for multiple family gatherings. On the main floor, the master suite (with king bed and private bath) opens onto an extended area of the deck with a lovely porch swing, perfect for morning coffee. Two bedrooms (one with a queen bed, one with two twins plus a bunk bed) share a jack and jill bathroom.
Downstairs, a kitchenette with microwave and full refrigerator lead to a family suite of two bedrooms (one with a king bed, one with two twins) sharing a full bath. The downstairs family room, (complete with TV/DVD/VCR) opens onto a large shaded patio which features a regulation sized, lighted shuffleboard court complete with outdoor music, picnic table, corn hull game and hammock....something fun for all ages!
Just steps from our property is access to the BEST BEACH ON FRIPP ISLAND! Avoid the beach club crowds and enjoy the shore during high tide and low. A fabulous outdoor shower welcomes you back to the Turtle Nest after your stroll through the beautiful dunes.
