It is close to the Beach, Lake, & Casinos. Nearby is the fabulous Heavenly Village with over 40 unique shops, eateries, and entertainment venues, and the Heavenly Gondola which takes passengers to the top of Heavenly! Walk to all - take a cab back home! There is simply no finer location from which to enjoy all the many wonders of Lake Tahoe than this special home in Heavenly Valley. This estate sized property will provide you with the ultimate in Privacy and Seclusion. It is located on 1.3 pristine acres surrounded by acres of Forest Land, all in it's natural state. Kinda like going to Grandma's house in the forest but without the Big Bad Wolf. If you enjoy the beauty and enchantment of nature - of being in the middle of the forest and trees - you will love this place. This property is located at the end of a cul-de-sac on a private road shared with just a few homes. Actually there are only 2 homes on our side of the cul-de-sac, one at the very beginning and this one at the very end of the cul-de-sac. It's a Fairy Tale setting while amazingly enough just blocks to Heavenly Skiing and just 1-2 minutes to the Lake and the Casinos! You will not likely ever see another vacation property with all these features in such a close-in fantastic location and on acreage - as they are very rare! We know of only one. This one! The private road this Hidden Paradise is on does not even show on most maps. When you are out in the front of the property it feels like you are out in the country. When you are inside the house or out in back - it feels like you are deep in the woods. Yet you are close to everything. If you love the outdoors then this is the perfect retreat for you. Sled, snowboard or mountainbike down your own hill. We have a really cool run with 2 fun humps - right out in back! You can even watch the action from inside the house. Go Hiking, visit the creek in Spring or play hide and seek in acres of forest. Perfect for children of all ages! Relax and enjoy total peace and tranquility! Imagine yourself in a Hot Tub in the woods, relaxing with your favorite libation under the stars & sky in total privacy and seclusion. Your beautiful & inviting vacation home is centered around a large custom River Rock fireplace. Every stone was hand selected to match the color scheme. The large all-gas fireplace with remote control puts out enough heat to heat the entire house, or just provide that special ambiance. The home is beautifully and rustically decorated. It is a spacious 2 stories with 20' ceilings in the Living Room yet it has a warm, comfortable and cozy feel to it. It is ideal for families and smaller groups. It's perfect for a smaller gathering yet can easily accommodate a larger group. Great for Entertaining. There is Hi-Speed Internet & TV's in almost every room with your favorite programs on cable. If you like to play games, we have lots of board games plus high quality Foosball, Air Hockey, Ping Pong and Darts. You will never be bored. You will enjoy the latest 61" State of the Art HD 1080p BIG SCREEN TV with matching HD-DVD player, surround sound and lots of HD movies! You can watch Warren Miller Ski movies when you are done tearing up the slopes. Or pick out an adventure or romantic movie. There are lots of kids movies too. The 3 BR's are all located upstairs. There is a large MBR suite with King bed & a daybed, the 2nd BR has a double bed and the 3rd BR has a double bed & 2 bunkbeds.

Close enough to Heavenly that we could just hop in the car and be there in 2 minutes but secluded on a private street, so we could enjoy the peacefulness of the mountains. The house was stocked with everything we needed and was so clean. We had a wonderful time and can not wait to go back!!!

  • We rented this house for our wedding weekend. We got married at Heavenly and needed a house nearby for our wedding party. This house met and exceeded all of our expectations and needs. We had so much fun playing in the game room and feeling the isolation of the forest in the backyard. We created memories there that will last a lifetime. This house was perfect for what we needed, and we would definitely rent it again. Thanks So Much! We truly had an amazing time.

  • I was completely thrilled when I walked into the house, especially after viewing the awesome external surroundings (the woods, the hills, the walking paths, and of course the mountains). It was immaculate and well furnished with everything a family would need for a weeks stay. Plenty beds, linens and towels, and the kitchen was well-stocked for preparing food, cooking and grilling. The huge flat-screen TV was enjoyed by all and the ping-pong table and other games were also fun to play. I guess my favorite amenity was the hot-tub. We did a lot of walking (to town and casinos) and hiking so it was very nice to come home and relax in the hot tub in the evenings. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the house - it was so much nicer than a motel room. We were pretty much isolated but within walking distance from all of the entertainment (shops, restaurants, casinos, etc. Plus, the owner of the property was so easily accessible by phone and/or email and provided friendly personal assistance to us whenever we asked. I called him to inquire about a restauant in the area that we had heard was a great place to eat and instead of a voicemail message or electronic greeting, he actually answered the phone. That was a nice change from the usual non-personal phone exchanges I've experienced in the past. I would highly recommend this property for a fantastic vacation experience.

  • We loved this property in South Lake Tahoe. It was large, had everything we needed, and in such a peaceful location. We had wildlife visit every morning: bear, raccoon, and coyote. We would run around Tahoe each day (biking, hiking, kayaking, swimming) and then relax in this house every afternoon/evening. We are planning return trips to Tahoe and will stay here again.

  • I can't believe that a month has passed since we left for your place in Tahoe. What a great house! Secluded, yet so close to everything. You hit the nail on the head when you said your place was kept really clean! We sometimes have to clean the pots and pans, or kitchen or bathroom counters upon arrival at a rental...definitely not the case in your house. In fact, I didn't have to clean anything prior to using it. We loved the giant fireplace, the backyard view, just everything. We will definitely be back! By the way, we ate at Christiana's Sunday evening (our first night there) and it was fabulous. Loved the atmosphere, the food and the employees. We would have gone back, but they had just begun their new, more limited schedule (Wed-Sun).

  • We had a great time and really enjoyed the property. What more could we have asked for, hot tub, huge flatscreen, internet, ping pong, air hockey, comfy beds, and our own sledding hill....I am sure you will be hearing from others in our group about renting it in the future. We loved how it backed up to the forest...so peaceful and serene..especially when it snows. We made some jumps and had a blast sledding. We had so much fun just hanging out watching March Madness that we spent ALOT less time in the casino (which was good for some of us :) The location was ideal, just 2-3 minutes to the casinos, to the Heavenly lifts, restaurants (one great one within walking distance, and the grocery store right down the street. This really didn't feel like we were in a rental, but as if we were in a friend's home, and that is what made this trip so special for our group!   • This is a wonderful home in a perfect central location. We stayed for 2 nights and wanted to be close to Heavenly and the casinos. This place is beautiful with nice sized bedrooms and 2.5 baths and has good hot water with good pressure. Kitchen is spacious and has everything you need. Living room has an awesome fireplace and a huge screen TV. The view out the back dining room and decks is absolutely beautiful and private. The large hot tub and the game room was a hit with the teenagers (they were not bored!). We will definately want to stay here again next year. (I'm not looking anymore!)   • We had a fabulous time staying in this cabin. We've rented cabins before but this was the best yet. Lots of room, great location, huge screen TV (the guys were thrilled) and the kitchen was big, very clean and the back yard was a forest great for sledding. We had 3 families and there was plenty of room!!!

  • What a unique and fantastic property! The house was very comfortable -- a home away from home. The backyard is huge. My kids had lots of fun sliding down the hill in the backyard and building snowmen. It’s as good as the first time we visited. I can’t ask for a better location - near Raley's and the casinos.   • Great house and location! The place was as described and met/exceeded all our needs. The kitchen is huge and has everything you need to have dinner in. We had a great week, the house is prefect for skiing at Heavenly and the other resorts are all an easy drive away (Kirkwood, Squaw, etc…) as South Lake Tahoe is so centrally located. Bruce was very responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay. The house is a great value for the money! The coyotes in the neighborhood are amazing. We saw them almost everyday and could hear them howl at night. Thanks for everything!
