Heavenly Valley is the best. We have been coming to Lake Tahoe since the early 70's. We met in 1972 on the beach. We vacationed here every year. So many attractions and always something new to do or see. Our boys loved coming up to snowboard and play in the snow. It was a second home to them. When this amazing home came up for sale we could not believe how secluded and private it was - yet close to everything. We still cannot believe how lucky we were to be able to buy it! It is a joy to be able to share such a unique and special home in one of the greatest locations on the planet. No wonder Lake Tahoe is the #1 vacation destination in the US & Heavenly the Premier Spot! Kinda like going to Disneyland but with real snow!

Everyone fell in love with this home. This property was Perfect....and the holiday decorations was truly special. House and SPA was super clean and well maintained. If needed, extra blankets and towels were available. Game room was a plus. You have everything you need at your finger tips...coffee maker?...check...coffee grinder?...check...coffee filter?....check.....can I make cookies? of course I can :) Because the kitchen is fully stocked with a variety of appliances. BRUCE is AWESOME!!! Always so friendly (email and phone) with great response time. Thank you BRUCE and Family for sharing your wonderful home; we had an amazing time.

We rented this house recently and really enjoyed our stay. This is a fantastic rental with all the amentities you could wish for! The rooms are all furnished nicely; the whole place is spacious & clean. The kitchen is very big with really nice appliances, everything you'd want at home is also found here. The TV room is a great space to hang out; the TV is huge, not to mention the massive fire place which heats the whole house really well! We all really loved the game room, hot tub, & great location, close to downtown, shops, & the heavenly ski lift. Our dogs loved running around out back in the woods; it was great to find such a wonderful, dog-friendly place to stay in South Lake Tahoe! The house is located on a private road in a quiet area, which makes for a very relaxing vacation. This place immediately feels like home away from home. Thanks for the great vacation!!! We will be back to Heavenly Paradise again and definitely recommend this rental to others! :)

We stayed at Heavenly Paradise to celebrate my husband's and his friend's 30th birthday! It was a fabulous weekend- the house was everything and more to what was listed on VRBO. The house was clean upon arrival and the holiday decorations gave it such a "home away from home" feel. The kitchen was stocked with tons of utensils and cooking supplies that we never needed to go out to eat. We didn't have any fresh snow while we were visiting, but that didn't stop us from enjoying this home's amazing location. It literally sits right off of the Heavenly Ski Resort and provided amazing views. Our dogs loved going on hikes with us as we explored the outdoors! And the game room provided tons of entertainment! In addition to an amazing property, the owner, Bruce, was a pleasure to work with and was very helpful in recommending grocery stores, nearby activities, etc... I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting South Lake Tahoe- it truly is a Heavenly Paradise! We definitely plan on visiting again in the future!

We enjoyed this amazing home for our Thanksgiving holiday and were so pleased with the accommodations. It fit our extended family and we still had room to spare. The dining room table has enough room for eight and then 4 more seats at the kitchen bar, nearby. The kitchen is well equipped and the spa is wonderful with a view of the forest. The home was very clean with lots of seasonal touches. The lighted tree on the fire place put us all in to the holiday spirit. There was only one negative and that is WE HAD NO SNOW! We'll be back.

The house was as advertised, if not better. Clean upon arrival with plenty of space for our family. The kitchen is well stocked, except for a bean grinder (but we just used the blender). A nice location where you feel like you are in the woods. Plenty of wildlife for your viewing pleasure. The spa was clean and easily accessible. The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable bedding. Plenty of linens and a nice washer/dryer. We will definitely be coming back on a yearly basis.

This IS the most amazing home. I have been searching for years for that special vacation spot in Lake Tahoe for my family, keeping our budget in mind, when I finally came across this home. My search is over! This home is very spacious and full of all the amenities that you would normally find in the higher priced vacation homes. The game room was an added bonus for my kids and the hot tub and views out the back deck were simply amazing. We were able to get some great family photos in the woods behind the house. The location is perfect. Close to the beaches and Heavenly Village. We had such a great time and can't wait to come back. Many thanks to Bruce his family for making our stay so enjoyable and easy!

My family stayed at Heavenly for 8 days in July. We had eight of us in this great place. It was very accomodating in every way. We enjoyed meals together at the large dining table. We played in the game room almost every night, we also enjoyed the spa and large entertainment area(TV, music, movies). The house is also so conveniently located to anything you need to do or go and see. We did the gondola, duck tour, and shopped as well as visits to nearby casinos. All of us enjoyed this visit so much and would like to come back again. We would recommend this "Little piece of heaven" (as my husband called it all week) to anyone. My grandkids had a great time here, as did the adults! Thanks Bruce, for making it available to all of us to enjoy. We all hated to leave!! It was everything mentioned and then some.

We had a "heavenly" stay at this property! There were ten of us that included my husband and myself, our son daughter-in-law and 15 mo grandbaby, our daugher, son-in-law and 7 mo old baby as well our daughter's in-laws. Someone said, "you mean like "Meet the Fockers?"" We are the Kern County Fockers. The property was very clean (I am very picky!) and very well kept. It was very nicely appointed in cabin decor. Loved the two large balconies! The spay was enjoyed by several of us. One morning we had a huge bear lumber through the back yard and enjoy a meal of giant ants after he ripped off two hunks of bark off a fallen tree. We also saw coyotes several times. None of us wanted to go home to the Kern County heat and smog. The home is situated in a very private and secluded area, The game room is a very nice addition and was used daily. I know we will be back as we are already talking about next year and have only been home 6 days. The owner was a wonderful to work with and communicated very well with us. When we walked in we said, "Wow we could live hear in a heartbeat!" Heavenly is a short walk and enjoyable walk away. There are plenty of shops close by as the grocery store. We also rented a boat and enjoyed tubing on beautiful Lake Tahoe. A trip to Emerald Bay with a hike down to the castle is a great side trip. A drive around the Lake is a must. Nice little outlet mall sits at the east edge of town. We will be back!

We had the best time at your wonderful home in Tahoe. It is without a doubt the best rental we have ever experienced. The location is perfect...not on top of Kingsbury with a 20 minute drive or on the busy side of pioneer but on your own private road where you cannot even see a neigboring house. Everyone loved the game room with full size shuffleboard, ping pong etc. As a professional chef I was impressed with the kitchen and everything you provide. From the moment we contacted Bruce about renting it was a relaxing and smooth experience. We will be reserving another week this coming summer, just as soon as we can all get our schedules to sync. We actually shed a few tears pulling away. Thank You.

What a wonderful place to stay! Very roomy, comfortable, up to date. It is in a fairly secluded area yet close to everything in South Lake Tahoe- which was perfect for us! There were even brochures for area attractions and a local map that we could use! Typically I am not a hot tub kind of person, but I loved sitting there relaxing and watching the stars come out in the midst of the encircling evergreen trees. Absolutely beautiful! The only negative thing I could say was that after we had sent in the deposit, I did not hear from the owner even when I requested email confirmation. That was a little scary as I was wondering if I had been scammed. I finally called the number listed and he returned my call. It happened again, however, when I emailed asking how he wanted the remaining balance paid and if he would send the directions and entrance code early as we were traveling other places before Tahoe. I did not get a response. I went ahead and just mailed it to him as I was afraid if I waited and the balance was not received on time, we would forfeit our deposit and lose our reservation. I would suggest to him that if he was going to be away or something that he set up his email with an automatic response telling when he would be available to respond to email because waiting to hear is kind of nerve-racking. But once we got there, we were all very, very pleased!! The game room was great - we all had fun there, the beds were comfortable, and everything was in good condition. I would recommend it! We were there in the summer, so hit the lake - parasailing, sailboating, hot air balloon ride, hiking. Be sure to watch the sunset from the hill above the house!!!
Owner response:Another 5 star review. This is my vacation home. I can assure all our guests that I almost always respond quickly. I answer my phone or return most calls quickly. It is not possible of course to please everyone. But we sure try.
