Built in the style and grandeur of an 18th century plantation house, Mount Corbett combines rich, traditional elegance with contemporary amenities that are unmatched on the island. Fully staffed for excellent personal service, Mount Corbett entices the most discriminating guests to return for many years. It served as the winter home for a princess of the British Royal family for nine years.
The great house is constructed of stone with an inviting veranda surrounding the entire house. Enjoy breakfast and lunch in the shade of the veranda, and dinner is served in the dining room. The entire house has polished hardwood floors, wood tray ceilings, screened sash and shuttered windows, and solid paneled mahogany doors with polished brass fittings. The furnishings are exquisite English and Jamaican antiques. Mount Corbett is situated on a plateau of four acres and is completely walled for privacy.
