The description of the property was accurate regarding the location and the photos were accurate. The property was clean and well maintained. I would recommend this property to friends. I would definitely stay there again if I had some activities in the area. Snowbowl was about a 45 min to hour drive and easy. Williams is about ten miles away but it is easy also. I would recommend the Red Raven restaurant and the Pizza Factory in Williams also. The cabin was enjoyable and a great experience.

We just stayed for 5 nights at Moose Manor with another family. It was probably the nicest vacation my wife and I have ever had with our family (5 kids between 10 and 18). Moose manor was big enough for all of us and we had a great time preparing meals, watching movies and playing games after a day of sight seeing. We were also blessed with incredible weather with highs in the 50s (during December and January). The cabin is in a small community but there was at least 50 yards to the nearest neighbor and privacy was not an issue. It was also in a wonderful spot for seeing the sites of Northern Arizona - the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Flagstaff were all an easy drive. In fact, our stay was too short...we couldn't get to see many more sites that we wanted to. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. Thanks for a wondeful stay.

Excellent. My husband and three children ages 20, 18, and 17 had a wonderful time at Moose Manor. The house was beautiful and we were very happy to have a Christmas tree set up and decorated. The kids enjoyed the sleds. I would highly recommend this home. Thanks Amy and Steve for all the homey touches, it truly felt like a home away from home. Christmas was very special. Christine

The Cabin is located in a nice quiet area, the inside was very clean, neatly decorated, cozy, & welcoming. You can enjoy the great views of the tall pine trees & snow while sitting in front of the warm fireplace & watching a nice family movie. we found everything we needed, dinnerware, cookware, cleaning supplies, sleeping bags, extra pillows & covers, and more, besides to a wide variety of family movies, games, lots of sleds & a hammock. We went in December, the kids enjoyed sledding & they had so much fun playing in the play set, but weather was not permitting for using the hammock, grill or sitting on the front porch, but I would imagine these will be lots of fun in warmer weather. Overall, it was the perfect family getaway. We loved & we're definitely going back

Moose Lodge is absolutely adorable! My family wanted to go to a cozy cabin and play in the snow at Christmas time. And that"s exactly what we got! The cabin was nestled in the trees and had snow all around. It was warm and friendly and wonderful for quiet, family time. We watched movies, played board games by the fire place, and baked Christmas cookies. We went sledding and enjoyed Christmas lights in Flagstaff. The cabin had all the amenities. We will definitely do it again!

My daughter is a USA Soldier serving in Afghanistan and wanted to go somewhere special for her R&R. After much research we found this site and were pleased with Amy answering, promptly, all of our questions through our many emails and phone calls. Amy was very patient with going back and forth with my limited communication with my daughter in Afghanistan. Many of the sites we researched either were very slow in answering our questions or didn't answer at all. We found it to be just what we needed for 4 of us and even more than what we expected. We arrived at the cabin with my soldier daughter's truck driver husband ,(he had to leave after one day due to the obligations of his job). This left myself (57), soldier daughter,(28), and my other daughter, (29) to stay at the cabin and we completed our 6 day stay without problems. I can't put into words what it meant to me to watch my soldier unwind in this peaceful cabin, she was able to cook a meal, do her computer games (with the WiFi available at the cabin) and take luxury bubble baths, sleep without interruptions, talk if she wanted to, quiet time when needed and the activities in the area were unending. This cabin is located 10 minutes from Williams, Arizona which is the starting point for most of the adventures related to the Grand Canyon. I can't imagine anyone not able to find the activity that would be to their interest, Grand Canyon and surrounding areas offer golfing, horseback riding (near the cabin), trails, rafting, helicopter rides over the canyon (breath taking, all of the beauty can't be captured except for the naked eye), jeep rides at the bottom of the cabin (fun bouncing around in the jeep seeing the rough part of the canyon, wading in the Colorado river), mule packing, various places to eat, shopping, on and on...... The best part of all of this was returning to the cabin and just relaxing in the peaceful setting of wooded area with easy access in and out of the drive. Dishwasher, laundry, 2 baths, beds that are so comfy you go to sleep as soon as your head hits the pillow ( this was really important to the soldier), putting it plainly, a nice home away from home of which we hated to leave. We did laundry everyday, took at least one shower or bath a day we used the dishwasher and had plenty of water. Thank you, Amy and Steve, for sharing the cabin with us, we know you put a lot of thought and work into your cabins and it made our visit so much better than staying at a motel.
Owner response:Dear Pauline, We were honored that you and your family stayed with us. Thank you for such a wonderful review! We are also very thankful for your daughter's service to our country. God Bless you and your family. We hope you stay with us again in the future. Amy & Steve

The perfect way to visit the Grand Canyon Area

This was the perfect way for us to spend our family vacation. Nestled among the pines outside of Williams we had the opportunity to relax as well as get out and see some great sites. The swing/play set was perfect for the young ones to let off that extra energy, giving the adults time to be together. We enjoyed the fire-pit, roasting hot dogs and marshmallows and spending time outdoors. The entire experience was great and we would recommend this cabin to anyone.

We had a great time at Moose Manor in late September 2011. there were 4 adults and 2 kids in our group and there was plenty of room for all of us. We all loved the different Moose touches that made the cabin extra special. The directions to set the cabin upand kep it cool during the day were excellent and easy to follow. The proximity to Williams and a little bit of Roue 66 nostalgia was also a special treat for us Australians. Thank you to Amy and your family for etting us stay in your gorgeous cabin.
