VRBO Bear stayed here - 04/27/2009 This Poudre Canyon home was simply gorgeous and the scenic drive to the property was just as beautiful! The interior of the 3 bedroom house was very spacious yet cozy enough to make me feel at home. During the day, I enjoyed relaxing on the wraparound deck and cooked some delicious meals on the grill. At night, I dipped my paws in the private hot tub and afterwards, stepped inside to dry my wet “fur” off near one of the two toasty fireplaces located on the main and upstairs levels of the home.
Being the hungry bear that I am, I sure love to eat. The well-equipped kitchen had everything I needed for cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner. There was even an easy-to-use coffee maker to give my morning a boost each day and get me started off on the right “paw”.
During my stay, I took a short walk down the road to the Poudre River and hiked up the Hewlett Gulch located on the north side of the river. I even caught my dinner one night by fishing in the Poudre River. The grill on the upper deck came in handy for cooking up the catch of the day!
Overall, I had a very relaxing time at this home and am looking forward to staying there again in the future.
