Agatam Lodge is a beautiful classic Tahoe Mountain home in a great Tahoe Vista North Shore location. It is just a short walk to Agatam Beach,Sandy Beach & Moondune Beach, and the many restaurants in Tahoe Vista. Hike and bike right up the street to The Tahoe National Forest trails.

The house has 4 bedrooms, counting our very small Bunk Room, and two and a half baths, with 2 Queen bedrooms and a full bath on the entry floor.A second TV with DVD & VCR built-in is located in one of these Queen bedrooms. The Master bedroom and bath and open living area are on the upper floor, along with an additional 1/2 bath.
Our gourmet kitchen has all new appliances, gorgeous granite slab countertops and a new rustic maple hardwood floor. The dining table seats six and there is more seating at the island bar counter. The interior furnishings of the house are in an updated casual Mountain Craftsman style.

A number of local restaurants and shops are within a two block radius. Walk to Captain Jon's, Spindleshank's, and Sancho's Tacos. The Old Range Steakhouse is right at the foot of our street, and you can just walk down to dinner and not have to worry about more winter driving after a full day of swimming, sightseeing, or skiing.

The main shopping area of King's Beach and the Safeway is less than 2 miles, and Tahoe City is a short drive the other direction.

The house has new carpets and hardwood floor, and a slate entry. Enjoy our cozy wood stove in the living area on cool nights. All three of the main bedrooms have beautiful designer quilts and luxury bedding.

Agatam Lodge is situated only a short block from Tahoe Vista Recreation Area Beach Park, with it's gorgeous sandy swimming beach and public boat launch.Kayak rentals are available there, too. Sandy beach is right next to that beach, and Moondune Beach is down the block. All three are a short walk from the house. Up the street dead-ending ionto the woods are miles of hiking and dog-walking trails.
There are tennis courts to rent a mile away at North tahoe Regional Park, as wekll as baseball fields. There is room in the driveway for a boat trailer or RV.

Relax on the sunny deck and enjoy the filtered view of Lake Tahoe. We have a brand new gas barbecue (available all year) and comfortable deck furniture to cook out in style.

For the winter, the Ski Shuttle is a short walk, and Snowmobile Rentals and a Sledding Hill are 1 mile away at the North Tahoe Regional Park. Their 5 miles of groomed cross-country ski trails can be acessed right up the street. These woods also have miles of hiking, dog-walking and mountain biking trails.

We do have a garage mainly for your ski storage, and plenty of driveway parking for several cars. Agatam Lodge has inside laundry facilities.

  • We spent a weekend at the Lodge in October and give it very high marks for cleanliness, comfort, quiet, and location. We took many walks on the beach and in the forest nearby. I also appreciate that the Millers accept dogs which made our stay even more enjoyable.

  • A great time was had by all at this wonderful North Shore home. It had everything you need and then some. My girlfriends and I were able to each have our own room. We walked to the beach each day and enjoyed our meals on the large shaded deck. Joyce the owner couldn't have been nicer and our stay was so easy to arrange. Thank You for a lovely time.

  • We loved staying at the house and we'll definitely go back. Our family of four stayed with a family of three, and there was plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. The kitchen is well stocked with supplies and the children enjoyed the toy selection. Next time we will not bring as much with us. The location is perfect: walking distance to the beach, in a very quiet neighborhood. The owner is very nice too.

  • My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Agatam Lodge. It was setup to where everything you could think of is provided and was in the perfect location. Our stay felt way too short and we would definitely rent this place out again and recommend the lodge to family and friends. Oh! The owner was amazing, she gives you her direct line and you can call if there are any questions or issues which is above and beyond your average rental. Thanks for the memories!

  • We stayed at this property for 3 days with a house full of kids. They enjoyed it and so did the adults. The home has everything you need to cook family style dinners. The house was very clean and had plenty of blankets and pillows. I would love to rent it for a summer getaway, as well as winter

  • We came up to Agatam Lodge to attend a wedding in Carnelian Bay. We arrived late at night to a Winter Wonderland. Despite the mountains of snow, the driveway and entry were clear and the house warm and inviting. My husband, brother and 3 children were very comfortable in this home which was well appointed but quite suited for children. Some houses we've rented have been not relaxing because they were not suited for young children, but this place had the best of both worlds. The neighborhood was quiet and the snow piles high enough so that the kids could sled in the front yard and on the street. They even built snow caves! Highly recommended. Jan
