This is the second time I have stayed at this beach house. What a great house for large families. Plenty of space and great size rooms. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, two full kitchens and apartment-style bedroom downstairs. The home was very clean upon arrival. There were a few maintenance items that needed attention, but none that hindered our stay. We also understand there is little time for maintenance to take place with continuous rental. The real estate agent stopped to introduce himself and see if we needed anything. Very nice guy and seemed concerned about our comfort. I did a lot of research on homes and prices throughout Navarre Beach. We needed a larger home for two whole families to stay. Great place for the price. The owner is very easy to work with and we look forward to staying there again. Love love love Navarre Beach!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This house was amazing! We were a group of responsible college students looking for a quiet and relaxing week on the beach away from the crazy "spring break" towns and cities. Navaree was perfect for us! We had plenty of space for our group of 18 and the driveway fit 4 cars nicely. The white sand beach is just up the street, it wasn't crowded, and we found some cool shells! Down the street there was a restaurant with multiple sand volleyball courts that provided hours of fun. The layout of the house is a bit odd, but it allows for plenty of kitchen and gathering space which is a plus for large groups. While we were there it rained only one day and during that time we discovered a leak, but the property manager on sight, Gene, came right over to help us out. Both he and Victor were so nice throughout the entire process it really made our stay even better. In our opinion, the pictures don't do it justice and this house was a great deal! We had an amazing week, thanks so much Victor!Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

PROS: Wheelchair accessible (main level); adequate number of sleeping rooms and bathrooms for large groups; fully-equipped kitchen on each level; peaceful location with great view; near shopping, oceans and restaurants; great spot for fishing; mopad, fishing pole, kayak rentals nearby; cooling system works well; keypad combination lock on front doors convenient for large groups; adequate kitchen utensils CONS: The property had clearly not been cleaned prior to arrival - bathtubs had dead bugs in them, tables had crumbs, etc.; ceilings leaked in spots and had to use trashcan to catch large amounts of falling rainwater; some rooms had musty smell; upstairs master bedroom has no way to turn on shower; upstairs bar area sink and fridge do not work; no DVD player in upstairs master bedroom as stated; garage being used as owner's storage - should be not advertised as available space; had to buy ant spray to combat the large number of ants on patio; upstairs balcony railing rusted and broken in several spots; light bulbs needed to be replaced in several rooms; old soap and shampoo samples from "Imperial Palace" in Vegas in all bathrooms; majority of doors don't lock inside home; lamp in upstairs living room had sparks coming from it when turned on; home has a very bizarre and inconvenient layout; only about 10 channels of cable TV in bedrooms - the only TV with a wider selection of channels was located in main downstairs living room; owner left no instructions for trash pick-up, what to do with bed sheets upon departure, etc.; didn't see a boat lift as mentioned in description; noticeable attempts to update home overshadowed by obvious inexperience of those performing the work; broken molding, inadequately secured wallpaper border, dated and stained upstairs carpet, uncomfortable and sagging beds bearing worn and dated comforters; inadequate extra bedsheets, towels and washcloths - had to constantly rewash and purchase extra from nearby WalMart; no hangers in many closets; many areas of home used as owner's storage (extra TV laying in floor in upstairs master bedroom); some of outside chairs broken, causing a member of our group to fall to ground; could go on but running out of space.... Overall, the home has lots of potential and is in a nice location, but is dated and in need of major repairs to be suitable for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Spend the extra money and rent something that is well maintained and in better overall condition!!Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Dave rented at the end of my busy season. The house was beat up from the daily use and I had not had the time to repair some of the items he mentioned. I spoke to him at the end of their stay and he confirmed all had a great time other than some of the issues. I am busy taking care of a lot of the problems over the low season.

Let me start by stating that the value of this rental is hard to beat, that being said, let me state the positives. Good location, short walk to beach, nice place to bring a boat and explore the sound and a lot of square footage to house all your family. Negatives: The house has a very odd layout... two completely different houses stacked on top of each other with three complete kitchens. We laughed daily at the strange setup. Sheets for sofa beds were not available so bring your own if using them. The cleaning service that charges 200.00 did a less than standard job and the floors were dirty(walking barefoot on the tile left your feet disgusting). Victor was very accommodating in all matters including pets. Once again, after looking far and wide, its hard to beat the rental price of this unit.Recommended for: Pet owners.

We rented this property for Memorial Day week 2011. On Sunday we got married on Pensacola Beach and held a sunset reception at this wonderful home. Everything was perfect and turn out as I had hoped it would. After the wedding was our family vacation time. The dock in the back was perfect for the pontoon and jet skis we rented for Memorial Day. The kids had such a wonderful time. The home is very spacious and beautifully decorated. Gene, property manager, was wonderful as well. He came to check on us to be sure we had everything we needed. We couldn't have asked for better hospitality. The communication between Victor and I was superb. For those considering this property as their next vacation destination...don't think twice. We had a great experience and we're sure you will too!! Thank you Victor!! You and your home has really exceeded our expectations!!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Great. Very Happy everybody had a great time.

You won't find a better deal around! We used this home for my wedding and everyone staying was so tickled to be staying is sucha beautiful, modern home right by the beach. It was beyond my expectations..The home was gorgeous and was the perfect setting at sunset for my wedding recption. Especially when we lit up that big palm tree out back. The only complaint from the guy's were they didn't have enough time to fish. Close to everything and beautifully decorated...Best deal on 98! Thanks Victor-your home gave us great memories!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/4

I had been in touch w/ this property owner to rent this house for the week of Thanksgiving (e-mail trial verifying same), sent my deposit and a week later the owner sent me an e-mail informing me the house was no longer available because he rented it to someone that provided a deposit via a credit card. The owner did not ask me for a cc vs. a check, but simply informed me either would be fine, wherein I informed him I would send a check. After I sent the check, I let him know it was in the mail, asked him to let me know if did not receive it and that I would follow up the following week. Before he rented the property out from under me, he did not even provide me the courtesy of contacting me to request a cc payment so he would not rent it to the other party, wherein he could have then simply tore up my check upon receipt. This property owner and I had an agreement and breeched it! If I were you, I would not do business w/ this property owner or he may do the same to you. I’m sure you won’t approve this guest comment as that would be too ethical for someone who lacks morals …Owner response: I get 15 times the number of enquiries as to confirmed rentals. If you only knew how many people state that they definately want the house, and then not book it. I really feel bad for Capprice. I tell everybody that I accept credit cards or checks. Who-ever pays first gets in. This one was very close and I apologize for the inconvenience.

This was the first time I had selected a vacation rental via the internet, It was for our family reunion and I was very anxious since I had never seen the place (other than the internet pictures) and wanted it to be perfect for the family. Upon arrival, everyone was extremely pleased. The house was great - fitted our needs perfectly. The location was perfect - not so commercialized and quiet/laid back. It was near all types of entertainment - free and entrance fees. And, of course, the fishing was fantastic. Right off the back patio, it was great and was a hit with all the kids. My family thoroughly enjoyed our family reunion. I plan to return next year to vacation and do some more fishing. Loved it! I rented this house for my retirement from the United States Air Force in July of 2007 and all of my family members that were visiting and myself loved this house to the max. They will most certainly be back to rent it again. Thanks for everything. Tony AnthonyMaster Sergeant RetiredDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

This house was absolutely huge. We rented the entire house for our wedding and it slept a very large amount of people. The house was perfect for the reception of 50 guests afterwards. We stayed the week after the wedding and did not want to leave. The owners are very nice and the amenities are above and beyond what you might expect from a regular house rental. We are planning on coming back for years to come.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

About the owner: Hi my name is Luke van Dyke and I love it here in Navarre. My dad and I go fishing right out the back door and I caught a nice fish.
Why the Owner Chose Other Navarre Beach Properties:
NAVARRE BEACH IS THE LEAST KNOWN AND LEAST CROWDED BEACH IN THE AREA. UNLIKE DESTIN AND PENSACOLA BEACHES, THE CROWDS HERE ARE FAR FEWER AND A MUCH MORE RELAXED ATMOSPHERE EXISTS HERE. A FEW MILES DOWN THE STREET AND YOU CAN HAVE ALL THE BEACH YOU WANT FOR YOURSELVES.
