Tired of the sterile hotel environment? Experience the exquisite detail, charm and truly unique character of whimsical Wisteria Hollow or The Cottage-by-the Sea. Ocean kayaks are provided for enjoying the seals and other wildlife in Puget Sound. Dig for clams or oysters on your private beach, then eat them for dinner. a 16' Hobbie Cat is available for an extra charge, experienced sailors only. A resume will be required. For those wishing to bring their own boat, we do have an anchored jetdock, a close public boat launch and a close marina. The jetdock is great to kayak to, swim to or fish off even if you don't bring along a boat.
There are three separate homes on this property. They may be rented separately or together for the perfect family reunion setting. First is the Cottage-by-the Sea. This charming cottage on the water is the perfect get away for one or two couples or a single family. This vacation home offers comfort, space, and all the amenities you often miss in a hotel. The cozy main floor with covered deck offers stunning views of the bay and easy access to 200 feet of private beach on Von Geldern Cove. The large master bedroom also offers peace and stunning views, as well as lots of extra space. The master has a king bed, plus a daybed w/trundle. This can be a couch, lounging area or make more sleeping space for children. There is a queen sofa sleeper downstairs in the living room and 1.5 bathrooms. The cottage will comfortably sleep 2-6 people.
In addition to our Cottage-by-the-Sea, there is a Victorian manor, Wisteria Hollow (see "All My Rental Listings"),available. Wisteria Hollow is a delightful home with exquisite detail-gorgeous woodwork and lead glass windows. The main house has three bedrooms, a loft, two and a half baths, and sleeps 6-12. Wisteria Hollow has a gorgeous kitchen-a chef's delight with restaurant quality appliances. There is also a private spa which overlooks the bay, 2 decks and a patio area-the perfect waterfront vacation rental home.
A 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment above the garage adjacent to the property is also available for an additional fee. The Surf Shack can provide additional sleeping space, teenage extra room or can be rented seperately. Provides additional parking. Listing #80708.
Both homes and the apartment are totally newly furnished. The furniture, 300ct. sheets and down bedding, luxurious towels and linen, all dishes, utensils, kitchen utensils, and pans are all brand new.
The beach, water amenities provided and sport court on the grounds are shared by all houses. With two acers of gated privacy there is plenty of room. Lakebay is a peaceful community on the Key Peninsula southwest of Seattle. Enjoy the ferry ride to Bremerton, then the scenic drive 18 miles through the Northwests forest and water views to Lakebay. Cross the bridge at Purdy for easy access to Picturesque Gig Harbor and Tacoma.
