We spent almost 2 weeks at this amazing location and can tell you it was the best vacation ever! We could go snorkling right outside the apt. and could count the turtles from the beach. The sunsets, as we were bbqing in the evenings, were great also. The apt. itself was very clean and having a laundry at the complex was a big help. I did miss a dishwasher though.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children.

Being on the ground floor was great. We walked off the back patio, across the grass and right onto the beach. The pictures need to be updated, as the owners have done some remodeling and it looks even better than what we were expecting. Close to shops and restaurants, make sure you go to Kua 'Aina for a burger! This place far exceeded our expectations, and if we return to Haleiwa I hope this condo is available.

August 2010: I stayed at this condo for a week with my son, daughter and 6 year old grandaughter and found it to be exactly as described. Our condo looked directly out to the beach and ocean. The condo itself was very nice with a pull out couch in living area and a very comfortable queen bed in bedroom. The 2 bathrooms made it very nice with 4 people. Condo unit and grounds are very well kept, manager on premises (especially when you forget your door code!!) Manager was very nice and unobtrusive. Coin laundry on site was especially appreciated. Location was located in an excellent location for traveling around island. The local restaurants and businesses are nice and reasonably priced compared to Honolulu. Everyone we met were very friendly and plan to return again, I would recommend this condo to anyone who wants a very relaxing vacation. *Note* turtles come ashore in front of complex every nite to sleep.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
