This house is located in a very desirable location (site #N-116) which is within walking distance to almost everything in Ocean Lakes (the pools, recreation center, putt-putt, the beach, and the store ). It is also located on a lake. The house is 1600 sq. ft. two story on stilts.It has a wrap around deck on the first level with a 14 ft. deck on the lake side.
The upper level also has a deck with each bedroom having it's own exit to the deck. It is perfect for large or multiple families. We have ample parking for up to four vehicles. Four bedrooms have queen size beds and one bedroom has a full size bed with a bunk on top. Each bedroom has a TV and the main deck also has a TV.
The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and serving meals. The laundry room has a washer and dryer and the master bath has a 2 person jacuzzi tub. Ocean Lakes has everything you could want for a family vacation. It has almost a mile of beach and is a gated community/resort with all the amenities you will need.
The recreation area has an olympic size outdoor pool, an indoor heated pool, a kiddie water play area with fountains and mounted squirt guns, 2 playgrounds, a snack shop that serves fast food and ice cream, shaded picnic areas, and lots of room for sunbathing.
Next to the pool is a huge recreation building where you will find scheduled activities for the young and old alike (bingo, ceramics, arts and crafts, miniature golf, horseshoes, basketball, etc.). There is also an arcade with over 80 games, a grocery store, and a gift store. All of this is included in Ocean Lakes with 24/7 security that is strictly enforced. Golf carts are available to rent thru Ocean Lakes.

This beach house is owned and managed by four brothers and their families. We all grew up going to Ocean Lakes with our parents beginning the first year Ocean Lakes opened the gate. We spent many years staying in our grandfather's 28 foot camper. Those were great times and we all have wonderful memories of those younger days. All of our children are also following in our steps and we can assure you they have all formed nothing but wonderful memories of Ocean Lakes. It is just a great place for family vacations. As the family grew we finally decided it was time to try owning a home in Ocean Lakes and over the years and after owning a few other homes in Ocean Lakes we settled with Site N-116. We hope you choose our house for your family's vacation, since we are also one big family we know you will enjoy it.

We chose this house because because of its nice location. It is located on a lake where you can enjoy fishing. It offers plenty of privacy even though you have neighbors you can meet anytime. You can easily walk to all the main attractions in Ocean Lakes within 5 minutes including the beach.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Our house is kept like new and clean. The yard is nicely landscaped and there is a huge oak tree on the lake that provides plenty of shade during the summer and there seems to always be a nice breeze blowing through.

we love ocean lakes, and this home made it the best vacation ever. we were there over labor day week, the weather was great, even though there was a threat of Irene. I just can't say enough of this home,owners were great to rent from and house had every comfort of home!! thanks for sharing your wonderful home !!!

I would HIGHLY recommend this home and as a landlord myself I will say that I am very picky about the condition of a property! This home was very clean, well maintained & SO comfortable. Close to the beach - 5 minute walk. Listing photos & description are accurate. Shaded deck is great for relaxing by the lake. Lakefront is great for fishing! The owner was very easy to communicate with, any issue was immediately addressed/corrected. Centrally located near the store, laundry facility, pool & Meet n'Eat. Everyone was VERY comfortable in this home & can't wait to go back! :))))) Absolutely loved it!!!

This is our second year for our family reunion vacation and our second year at this beautiful house. We have children ranging from ages 4 to 17 and adults as old as 76. This is an ideal location for all. Close to the Ice Cream Shop, walking distance to the pool, basketball courts, and the beach. The boys enjoy the downstairs shower after a long day at the beach. Leaving the showers inside open for the ladies. The backyard is big enough for a game of ladder ball or corn hole and is nicely shaded. The porches are great for an early morning cup of coffee or a mid-day card game of Phase 10 or a late night chat. There is always a nice breeze stirring and the porch for the most part is shaded most of the day. The house is nicely furnished, cozy and always neat and very clean. The kitchen is a joy to cook to cook in. If you are looking for a PREFECT GETAWAY this is the place to come. We are looking forward for year number 3 next year. THANKS GUYS FOR THE USE OF YOUR BEAUTIFUL BEACH HOME. WE ENJOY EVERY MOMENT OF OUR STAY!!!!

Our party included 8 adults and 7 children ranging in age from 12months to 62 yrs old. We had a blast and will definitely return. My two teenage sons are already looking forward to the next time they can go cruising on the golf carts! This house was furnished very nicely and provided all the amenities that we could ask for. Location in Ocean Lakes is perfect and the house is very well maintained. There is a little something for everyone and you don't even have to leave the resort if you don't want to. There are water parks close-by and plenty of shopping available within short driving distances. The owner was a pleasure to work with and was very accommodating in every way. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone looking for a serene setting within walking distance of the beach.

The owner was wonderful to work with! Even when he went out of town, he made arrangements for us to get our questions answered without delay. We couldn't have asked for anything better. The house's location within Ocean Lakes is perfect-- a few yards from the convenience store and a very short walking distance to the beach, pools , and putt-putt. It provided perfect living accommodations with a well-stocked kitchen (i.e., utinsels, dishware, etc.) and plenty of space for multiple families. My family is already talking about going back in the future.

This was a wonderful house to stay in. It was amazingly clean when we arrived. It had a perfect view of the lake and a great little front yard for the kids to play in. They loved being able to see the turtles and ducks right from the deck. Great location off main campground road. We have already talked about making reservations again for next year. The owner was also very heapful as we had a question while we were there.

We were first time VRBO renters and to be honest, we were a little nervous. After talking to the owner, we felt much better about renting. He answered all of our questions and was very helpful and understanding. We were amazed at how accurate the description was of the house and how clean it was. The pictures are also accurate but can’t captivate the comfort of the house. The layout was perfect for our family. We used the decks a lot. They are shaded by trees during the heat of the day, and this is where we spent most of our time while at the house - with our family playing cards, reading and just enjoying family time. Overall, the house was a pleasant surprise because it was much larger and nicer than expected. Our teenage boys were also very pleased! While we were there, we felt very comfortable calling the owner to ask a couple of questions. He was very helpful and answered all of our questions. This house is in a great location within Ocean Lakes. It is close to the main store and easy to get to. I would highly recommend this house to anyone. I have already recommended it to friends (as long as they don't take our week! LOL) . We have already sent our deposit for next year and can’t wait!

This is a great home to stay in for your vacation! It has all of your needs and it is in a great location. Walking distance to the snack shop to get the YUMMY icecream! The home has plenty of space to take your whole family and everyone sleep comfortable. We have stayed in the home 2 years in a row and will be calling back for future years as well!!!

What a lovely place to relax and enjoy your family. The house was so spacious, clean and well maintained, and in a such wonderful location that we had a great time. Our family ranged from age 3 to 75 and we all had fun and took away great memories. The ice cream shop, the rec center and the store was close, the beach was within walking distant for the teenagers, and the kiddie pool was close for the little one. The best place of all is the 2nd story porch. There is always a breeze blowing under the big oak tree anf you can see when the ice cream line dies down, watch people fish from the lake and just rock read a good book and relax. The teenagers enjoyed playing corn hole and ladder ball in the backyard, while the adults enjoyed fishing in the lake. We appreciate Mr. Deaton and his family for having such a beautiful place and be willing to share it with others so we could make memories that will last a lifetime. Thanks again and we look forward to coming again next year - the children are already excited and happy that we will be back at the same place. We will be recommending this house to our friends and other family members.
