Only one and one-half hours from Denver, our unit sets among 50-feet pine trees at an elevation of 8,000 feet with trailheads into the Arapahoe National Forest one-half block away and two miles from the Winter Park/Mary Jane Ski Area.
It has one large bedroom upstairs with a double bed, bunk beds, and full bath; the kitchen, half bath, and living room with queen-size futon are downstairs. The unit has WiFi.
The clubhouse is across the street behind the unit, and the downtown area is within walking distance--3/4 mile. The FREE shuttle bus stops 300 feet from the front door.
Rocky Mountain National Park is 30 miles north, as is Grand Lake. Estes Park is on the east side of the Park. There are three public golf courses within 30 miles. The YMCA of the Rockies is eight miles away where private instruction is given in a variety of activities from horseback riding to cross-country skiing.

We really enjoy staying at this property. It is clean and neat, and very homelike. The condo is right on the Winter Park shuttle bus route and is very convenient to eating, shopping, and skiing. The new flat screen TV and the fireplace add to the feeling that the owners really care about the people who stay at this older, but very neat and clean condo.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We spent 3 nights in early March. Spacious and more affordable than a hotel. All directions, and communication with the oweners, were handled promtly and accurately. The condo is very comfortable and peaceful, and the decor is much nicer than the pictures. We have already booked another stay.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+.
