Colorado property owner since 1988. I have 2 properties that are currently available for nighty rentals and are designed for family vacationers that are sport enthusiasts. Dogs are welcome at all properties.
The Outlaws condo 8A in the Mt. Village is a walk in ski home condo and is fully stocked with maps, backpacks and water bottles for summer hiking. 323 Adams Ranch Road, Outlaws @ Prospect Creek, Unit 8A. Well Built in 1996.
The AG house = Agriculture House is in Montrose, Colorado, Listing #244575 = 835 North Uncompaghre and is a 2 Bed/1 bath house with an office with a flip flop couch in the back. There is fully stocked kitchen complete with spices. All appliances. beds, sofa and flip flop couch are new. It is a charming house built in the early 50's and is wheelchair accessible. Summer nightly rate is $125.00 for 1 person, 2 people $150.00 and each additional person is $25.00. Pet Fee of $25.00 per visit. A refundable security deposit of $300.00 and a valid driver's license is required. There is a coded lock and the code is changed after each renter. Hunting Seasons - the house is stocked with a Lockable Gun Rack, Deboning Room complete with Gambriel, Stainless Steel Counter Top and Freezer. Drive your truck directly to door. Chef Kendra is available for home comfort camp cooking. Rate: each Hunter is $75.00 a night for lodging. $150.00 each hunter for lodging and Meals = an early a.m. hot breakfast, bagged healthy gourmet lunch and dinner with a dessert. All alcohol, beer & wine must be purchased by you. Min. 2 hunters. Large Group travelling together => The Ag House sleeps 4 hunters or 7 if 2 couples. The remaining group may stay at a nearby hotel and dine at the AG house. The Living Room is quite large and can accomodate another dining table = 8-10 diners, depending on height and size of hunters. Why the Owner Chose Mountain Village
I plan to semi retire in Montrose = Lovely weather and nice community and 73% of land surrounding Montrose is BLM and National Forest Land. I am very familiar with the state except for this area and look forward to discovering the Black Canyon and the Uncompaghre Plateau and Grand Mesa/Twin Lakes. Look forward to wider shoulders on Hwys for road biking. It is warmer than the Mts. and has Great Medical Care. Montrose is very centrally located - accessible to Telluride, Silverton, Crested Butte and Powderhorn(GJ)Ski areas and Red Mt. for Back Country/Cross Country Skiing and Snowshoeing. 2 Hour drive to the Wine Country of Colorado. 2.5 hours to Moab for desert landscapes, Mt. Biking, Hiking or Motor Cross. 45 Minute drive to Ouray for Lap swimming in a Hot Springs Pool. Big Game, Sheep & Goat and Turkey Hunting Nearby. Not much into hunting myself but sure like to "Chef" it up! Also amble amount of fishing in the area.
