My review will just echo all of the others. Everything about this condo is perfect. We went for our first time, to TCI, and I feel like I just absolutely lucked out. There are so many choices, but somehow, I found Susan and her wonderful condo. My husband and I, and our two young children fit just perfectly. I thought maybe it would be crowded using the pull out bed, but it wasn't at all. All of the tile and finishes in the condo were top notch and very pretty. It is also excellent to have a washer/dryer in the unit, when you have small, sandy kids. The beach in front of the resort is, perhaps, the most beautiful beach I've ever seen. Clean, quiet, gorgeous sand and water. It was so hard to tear myself away every day....just to go and hang out at the beautiful pool. My daughters also had a blast with Bentley the bartender at the poolside bar. He did an art project with them, collecting shells and making souvenirs. My husband and I were struck by how genuinely nice all of the people were. You don't always find that at resorts. Mel, was also super nice and a great resource of information. It was very convenient to have the use of a cell phone, to make reservations, etc. And, I don't know if it was the sea air, or the bed, but I haven't slept that well in ages. The bed was incredibly comfy. I really can't say enough about the place. We appreciated the fact that it was a quiet resort, as well. We walked down the beach a lot, and near the Beaches resort, there were many more people, lots of boats going in and out....just not as relaxing. If comfort and quiet is what you are looking for, I doubt you can find a better place. It was a fantastic, relaxing week. Must figure out when I can go back. Oh...I will add that if you can avoid the airport on a Saturday do it. It was a zoo.

My husband and I just stayed at this gorgeous Villa for a week. I can't say enough about how wonderful it was. The condo was beautiful, clean and had everything that one could possibly need. We loved the ipod dock. It made us feel right at home with out own music playing. The staff at the hotel were very helpful. Mel greeted us as we arrived and showed us to our room and made sure we were comfortable with everything. She showed us how to use the T.V. remotes and the safe and gave us suggestions for restaurants etc. We took advantage of the private tennis court, just outside of the room. We loved the location of the hotel. It was close to many restaurants and shopping too. It was a 10 minute walk to the grocery. It was also away from the major all inclusive resorts, which we really liked. Definitely on the more quiet stretch of Grace bay. We loved our evening routine of walking on the beach and watching the sun set over the bay. The turquoise water was really unbelievable. Susan was so great to work with and answered emails almost immediately and provided many wonderful suggestions for restaurants and adventures, many that we loved. I would highly recommend a snorkeling boat trip while you are there. The island is truly majestic and this is probably one of the best places to stay on the island, especially if you are looking for something quiet and relaxing. I can't wait to go again.

We recently stayed in Susan's condo while we visited Turks and Caicos for the first time this past February 2012. We loved the location of the resort, the condo, and the beach so much that we have already booked it for next year. The condo and resort are exactly how the photos depict them to be. The condo had all of the amenities you would want and need; and it was extremely clean and comfortable. The beach was incredibly beautiful and there was always plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas available no matter what time of day you decide to head to the beach. The pool was also very clean and never crowded. The resort is located a short distance from numerous shops and restaurants, and the grocery store is only a 10 min. walk away. The grocery store which has a deli and bakery, also carries a nice selection of produce, meat, groceries, alcohol and more. Having never been to Turks and Caicos, I had numerous questions about the resort, condo and island itself. Susan was extremely quick in answering all of my questions, and she took the time to provide me with information on restaurants, tours, and other tidbits she thought would be useful. She's an absolute pleasure to deal with. Upon arrival we were greeted by Nicola who was waiting to welcome us. We were provided with Nicola and Mel's cell phone numbers in case we had any questions or needed any assistance during our stay. Although we booked through VRBO, the staff at the Villa Renaissance were also very kind and pleasant with us. I would not hesitate to recommend this property. As I stated earlier, we have already booked this condo for next year and can’t wait to return.

Just returned from a perfect vacation. The condo was everything we read about and more. Susan has so many great touches that I have never seen anywhere. She really went the extra mile, and it shows. The unit itself is gorgeous, and we loved the resort . It was so quiet and relaxing, just what we were looking for. We will be back. Thank you Susan for sharing your home with us.

We stayed in Susan's Property the first week of November. It was everything we saw in the photos and more! The condo was nicely decorated, clean and had all the comforts of home. I love it's location right next to the pool and steps to my beach chair and umbrella. It was also wonderful to have a car included one day where they had great service. Mel and the rest of the staff were also wonderful and would have gotten us anything we needed. A very SMOOTH transaction. We will definately return again (hopefully next year). Thank you Susan for a great business model and a wonderful condo on beautiful Provo!

We spent an absolutely incredible week in Turks & Caicos Oct.22-29, 2011. This was our first visit to TCI and the weather was picture perfect. Villa Renaissance is gorgeous. The suite is so beautiful, the pictures just don't do it justice. It is immaculate and extremely well maintained. Our bath towels were changed daily and mid-way through the week they changed the sheets. The king size bed is VERY comfortable. The patio is very quiet and peaceful and had a great view of the courtyard and pool. A perfect spot to enjoy breakfast or simply have coffee. The pool is also beautiful and very clean with lots of chairs & towels. The owner, Susan, is wonderful! She was so quick to answer all of our questions and offer great suggestions for excursions and especially restaurants. We would ABSOLUTELY recommend her suite to anyone and would love to be return renters ourselves. The ocean is so beautiful and it is a quick 45 second walk to Grace Bay Beach from the suite. The resort offers a private walkway to the beach as well as towels, chairs, and umbrellas. We almost had the resort to ourselves because it was the down-time of year. The staff is also very helpful and everyone on the island is so friendly and kind. The local property managers are wonderful. Mel met us there and showed us around the suite and property. The cell phone provided is great to make dinner reservations. We had some fantastic food at Mango Reef, Hemingways, and especially Coco Bistro. We also made use of the local grocery store for drinks, breakfast, lunch, and snack foods. Provo Ponies is a must. Riding the horses in that clear turquoise water is a surreal experience for most people and it was so much fun. If you think you can't ride a horse, you're wrong! They give you a quick lesson and the horses pretty much do it all themselves anyway. We also opted to use a rental car the whole week and that was well worth it for us. We went to Sapodilla Bay where the water is calm and crystal clear and you can walk out for 200 yards and it is only waist deep. We even saw a BIG sea turtle there. We stopped to take in the views of Chalk Sound which is such a beautiful and unusual color that it takes your breath away. We went east to the Leeward area and spent part of a day at Sunset Beach. There were tons of shells, including conch, that wash up along the beach there. This was definitely our best vacation ever and we can't wait to go back some day. GO, RELAX, and ENJOY!!!

My wife and I just returned from this wonderful condo. First off, the owner Susan was such a delight to deal with. If we had any questions about the island or resort, she would get back to us in a flash. The condo was exactly what we were looking for and the management company that deals with the property was great as well. Mel is the best! We were really looking for some peace and quiet on our trip and Villa gave us just that. The fortunate thing is that there are smaller resorts next to Villa, so it makes it no so crowded which we were in love with. If you're looking for a party scene, need not apply, go to Beaches. We will definitely be back! What a great experience!

Pictures do not do this place justice! It is truely beautiful! This unit has everything you could need and possibly want for your vacation. The resort is in prime location, within walking distance of many restaurants and the graceway grocery store. The rental car for a day that they provide is a bonus that enabled us to take a drive to Chalk Sound- which is a must! The unit is steps from the bar, pool and beach. The owner was great to work with, answering all my questions and provided a ton of helpful tips. I would come back in a heartbeat and would recommend this resort to anyone looking for peace and quiet in the middle of paradise!

We just came back from a 9 day stay at the Villa Renaissance. The villa is located on beautiful Grace Bay and it is truly one of the most beautiful beaches that I've ever been to. Susan, the owner was incredibly easy to deal with. Prior to the trip, she provided us with recommendations to restaurants and local tours. She was right on target as all the restaurants she recommended were fabulous. Any questions that we had, she answered instantaneously. The villa is decorated very beautifully and every amenity was included. Mel, our caretaker was extremely helpful and very nice. She made sure that we were comfortably settled and she made sure that all our needs were met. I would highly recommend this villa.

My husband and I stayed in this unit March 5-11, 2011, and we were very impressed with the property, the unit, the management and the owner. Everything that is described and depicted on VRBO is spot-on. There were no surprises, with the exception of the absolutely breathtaking walk from the pool to Grace Bay beach! Every morning, while walking through the archway in the building, I was rendered speechless by the cerulean hues of the ocean, just beyond the vibrantly lush greenery, with the perfectly white sand between the two. The new furnishings were very nice and comfortable, and they, too, are represented perfectly by the photos on this page. The daily maid service was efficient and thorough. The owner always promptly answered my many questions with descriptive and very helpful answers. An added bonus was the help from Nicola, Mel and Julie Ann, who coordinated our dinner reservations for each night we stayed in Provo. I just emailed a list of restaurants we wanted to visit, and within one day, we had a dining itinerary lined up 4 weeks before we were scheduled to arrive! This is a unit that we will be booking for ourselves in the future, as we have stayed in Provo 4 times now, and we believe this unit is the best managed, most reasonably priced unit in which we have stayed. Thanks so much to Susan and your wonderful crew in TCI, for making our vacation so very special.

We wanted to email you to let you know how much we loved our stay in Turks & Caicos. The apartment was everything it was advertised to be and more. Mel was lovely, as was everyone at the Villa Renaissance. There is not one thing we could come up with that would make it better -- you have thought of everything. Btw, we were very grateful to have the umbrella left in the apartment as the ones in reception were all in use. We really loved our trip and we hope to arrange a trip next year!

My husband & I stayed for 9 days over the New Year. What a vacation. Grace Bay beach is the most beautiful beach I've ever been on (and I've been on many). The sand is white, soft and clean; no small shells or seaweed on the shoreline - it is pristine. The ocean was warm & we did have several days with rolling waves which were fun and relaxing at the same time. Our condo was clean and well equipped - no complaints there. Although this wasn't an ocean front, we had a view of the gardens and pool, which was lovely - we had our ocean view all day while on the beach. The location of the property was probably one of the best alone the entire Grace Bay beach. You could walk in either direction for a minimum of 1/2 - 1 hour before you'd turn around. It was never overly busy or crowded - chairs were always available. We were in walking distance to the grocery store, shopping and many fine restaurants. The owner of our condo was terrific. She replied promply when we were investigating the rental and offered many suggestions with respect to restaurants (from high end to more reasonably priced); all of which were great. Already looking to return to this amazing location. I don't have 1 negative word!

Now that we've gotten settled back in Boston after our honeymoon, I wanted to take a second to thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful accommodations at the Villa Renaissance. From the time we first inquired about staying at your condo until literally the night before we left for our trip your were extremely helpful in answering our many questions and ensuring that we had a great trip. We followed most of your recommendations in dining at Parallel 23 (our favorite also!), Conch Shack, Hemingways, and Magnolias (only for a few cocktails though, not dinner) and also went to some others (Anacaona, Bagatelle, Tiki Hut, Bay Bistro) that were great. The food, service, and views were spectacular on the island and everything was just a short walk on the beach away (and if not, we used a cab driver named Kalvin to get us there, I would definitely recommend him). Outside of dining the weather was fantastic so we spent everyday either at the beach or poolside, cruised around the island when we rented a car (even found Bill Gates former house!), and went on a sailing/snorkeling excursion with Sail Provo (they greeted us with Rum Punch at 10am). Before I forget, a special thank you to Nicola, Mel and staff at the Villa Renaissance. They were extremely gracious in welcoming us to the resort, setting up reservations for us, and providing their guidance during our stay. Nicola was even so kind that she sent us off with some special gifts to remind us of our trip and the island. The islands of Turks & Caicos were everything that we could have hoped for during our honeymoon and we can't wait until we get a chance to return. I would highly recommend your accommodations to any potential renter and look forward to speaking with you about a return trip in the future! Joseph & Kelly Aceto

My husband and I traveled to Turks & Caicos in September 2010 and I must say our experience staying in this beautiful condo was beyond our expectations. It was tastefully decorated and included every item you could possibly imagine to make our stay comfortable. The resort itself is very quiet and gives much attention to detail. It's also situated in a prime location close to restaurants, shopping, etc. Susan (the owner) and Nicola (the property manager) were both a pleasure to deal with. We will be back!

My husband and I went to TCI - Provo for our honeymoon. The condo was just perfect for our needs. The unit was beautiful! It was clean and modern. A management company provided daily light cleaning and was a good source of contact if we needed anything. The unit had all the ammenities to get us through the week, such as coffeemaker, refridgerator, washer & drye, and prepaid cell phone for making diner reservations. We got a one day car rental with our stay and we toured the island and saw Chalk Sound National Park and enjoyed a light lunch at Las Brisas Restaurant. We enjoyed our meal at Las Brisas immensely. Not only was the food fantastic, one of the best on the isleand, you can't beat the amazing views from the restaurant of the Chalk Sound. The condo complex was quiet and restful, just as we had hoped. We never had a problem with it being crowded or our needs not being met. We used the on site spa and had a nice massage. The unit was within walking distance of lots of good restaurants. My husband particularly liked Bella Luna Italian restaurant very close by. The water the the cleares most beautiful water I have ever seen. We saw rays, birds, and a number of large starfish in the waters near the complex. The owner was fantastic. She answered all the questions I had, gave great recommendations of things to do and see, and places to eat. It was very easy working with her and my husband and I hope to return in a few years for an anniversary!

My new husband and I just returned from a week long vacation at Villa Rennaisance for our honeymoon and could not have had a better time. We had a wonderful time in Provo - the owner's suggestions of places to eat and visit were very helpful and made sure we kept our decision making down to the minimum. The condo itself is perfectly situated on the resort, close to the beach and right next to the pool. The interior is nicely decorated and has a comfortable island feel to it. The updated kitchen was a definite plus for those mornings and lunches when we just wanted something quick to eat so we could get back to the beach quickly The resort itself is centrally located on the unbelievably beautiful Grace Bay Beach and we walked along the beach to and from dinner every night. The proximity to shops, the grocery store and liqour store made it an ease to walk out and pick up a few items when we needed to. We spent the first two days just relaxing, but did fit in a sunset/snorkeling cruise with SailProvo, massages at Spa Tropique, toured the entire island and had lunch at Las Brisas and dinner at Da Conch Shack when we had the owner provided car for a day and all of our "excursions" were great. We followed many of the suggested dinner and lunch spots, which were all exquisite and particularly enjoyed Parallel 23 and Anacoana. We also stumbled upon NaDa performing one night at Seven Stars and highly recommend enjoying some cocktails and a sunset to their music. Nicola and her management staff were particularly helpful and checked in on us daily to make sure there wasn't anything we needed. I don't know if it was through the management company or the owner, or both, but thank you to whoever arranged for the Champagne, strawberries and chocolate when we arrived - a very thoughtful and much appreciated gesture. All in all, it was the perfect trip for our honeymoon - the only bad part was leaving. I wouldn't be surprised if you hear from us again soon.

It was a pleasure dealing with Susan, the owner. She could not have been any nicer. This one bedroom had more than enough room for my husband and me, and it is well done and in excellent condition with a lovely patio that is poolside and a washer/dryer which was an unexpected bonus. We also had no problem connecting to the internet. The staff at the VR is so helpful and friendly and very attentive to the guests. This is a small, quiet resort--nothing like the chaotic Beaches or Club Med Resorts at other ends of the beach--this is the perfect place to relax and recharge your battery. There were never more than 5 or 6 people at the pool and only a few more at the beach--- which is absolutely gorgeous! When you think of a beautiful beach with white sugar-like sand and water that is one shade off from the sky, this is it!! There is a somewhat upscale grocery store within a 10 minute walk which had everything you could possibly need and a liquor store closeby as well. We followed someone else's advice and asked our cab driver who picked us up at the airport when we arrived to stop at an IGA on the way in and we stocked up for the week. It was a great idea since the fantastic staff at the VR brought in all our groceries and our bags when we arrived. The central location of VR is a big PLUS! Walking along the beach, you can eat at several different restaurants and/or stop in a few different places for a cocktail or two- Hemingway's and Bay Bistro were both good restaurants in which to watch the sun set with a glass of wine. And what a sunset!! We also ate at the Sushi Bar across the street- we love sushi and this place was really good! When we had the car, we went to Da Conch Shack- it was great and I didn't want to leave. There is nothing like sitting at a picnic table on the beach with a beer and a delicious conch salad. Driving on the left is not too difficult to get use to; however, we found that we really preferred to be at the VR rather than on the road. There are some small new retail/commercial plazas being completed right outside the VR (a deli coming soon- YES!) and I am sure it will look a bit different - but in a good way--when we return next year. This island is very laid back- no one is trying to sell you jewelry on the beach, and there are no big touristy shopping centers- which makes it soo nice. A direct 3 hour 15 min from NYC makes Turks even more appealing. Susan's one bedroom at VR is all you need for the perfect vacation on a perfect beach.
