  We stayed in the "Luxury 2-bedroom Andros" condo, and it certainly lived up to its name! The furnishings were beautiful and well maintained, as was the entire condo. Everything was as neat and clean as could be and in excellent working order. It was a delight to come back here after a busy day at the theme parks and relax with plenty of space and privacy. And how wonderful to have somewhere to cook breakfasts and do laundry! Walmart and other shopping is very handy for any supplies you need while you are there. I also wanted to add that the drive to the Disney parks was an easy 20-minute one, as this condo is located on the less-busy side of Orlando. I am sure that the pools and other on-site amenities were wonderful but, as the weather was quite chilly when we were there, we did not use them. I can heartily recommend this condo to both families or adults traveling without children and, should we return to Orlando, we would definitely stay here again!

  We were thrilled with our place and it was perfect for relaxing after a day at the Disney parks. Our condo was very clean and extremely spacious. We loved eating out on the screened in porch and it was a plus to be able to order from the restaurant and have our food delivered to us. The owners were quick to respond with any questions and provided us with an informative welcome pack. The location was great because it was close to grocery stores and other restaurants. It was a quick drive to the parks and we liked the relaxing atmosphere much better than staying inside Disney gates. The staff was also very friendly. We will certainly rent this place again!!!

  Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  no one sentence can describe it. imy family and i enjoyed the spacious rooms and all there was to do at the resort. we shall be coming back soon. anyone who is planing a disney vaction should stay here!

  Our condo was very spacious and wonderful. I miss the screened-in porch! The resort was well maintained and clean. The pools were wonderful. The fitness area was also nice. The resort is only 15 minutes to Disney World. The staff at the resort were nice and booking the condo was very easy.

  This beautiful, airy , stylish apartment had everything we could have hoped for and was excellent value for money. We would recommend this without question. Our 4 year old loved the pool, and it was lovely to come back here to some calm after a day at the themeparks. One evening we saw a racoon in the gardens !

  This was our second stay at bahama bay and we love it.the apartment was very spacious and clean and well equiped.I would not hesitate to recommend this villa or resort to anyone and will be rebooking again next year.

  From the first moment we arrived we were treated like family. The staff was extremely polite and courteous and always willing to help us out. The villa was beautiful, clean, spacious and the complex is close to everything. We will definetly be back next year and are looking forward to it.

  We had a great experience here. The whole facility was very clean; the amenities were fabulous - several pools and hot tubs, a nature trail, gorgeous landscaping. The store onsite is the best I've seen - very practical and not at all overpriced. you can buy sunblock, deodorant, wine, mac & cheese, ice cream, detergent - you name it! My kids (14, 12, and 9) loved playing basketball and having the freedom to roam independently. We went to Universal Studios several times during our stay, and the drive took about 30 min (which is what was advertised). That was sort of a pain, but the price was so fabulous it was easy to overlook. Had lunch at Mambo's one day - the food was pretty mediocre, but the service was top notch, as it was throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend Bahama Bay - it allows you to spend much more while on vacation, and is a neat vacation in and of itself. The rental process was easy, and not having to clean the condo as we left was a huge perk (hard to do when you are packing up and facing a full day's drive!).

  A very nice place with beautiful landscaping, the unit we stayed in was clean and very nice looking. The people working at resort were very helpful. Had a great time at the tradewinds restaurant, deff. would go to this resort again.

  A Dream Holiday...Fabul...ous Our Fifth visit to Bahama Bay and still a "Five Star" holiday. The condos are kept to a very high standard and the position of Bahama Bay makes it central to Disney World and many, many types of restaurants and shopping malls and yet you are tucked away in lovely surroundings - who could want more? Will certainly be making a Sixth visit - Highly Recommended.

  The apartment was very clean, it had all the mod cons you would need for a family, it was spacious and fully furnished and very nicely decorated. The resort was great, the pools and beach area were lovely, the lake was beautiful and the staff were friendly and helpful. The resort was under 30 mins away from all the major attractions which was excellent, we really would recommend Bahama Bay to anyone, and will certainly stay again if we ever decide to visit Orlando! Thank you so much for making our holiday so wonderful!

  for a stay in 9/1/2007 Our fourth visit to Florida but first time in an apartment having always stayed in hotels (including Disney) previously but with children now of 16 & 18, we now needed more space. The Grand Bahama, 3 bedroom apartment was excellent and extremely spacious - just as it appears in the photos - also very well equiped with quality furniture and accessories including the kitchen. The resort too was just what we wanted, although all apartments were full, there was no overcrowding whatever and the facilities were great. We are looking to book again for 2011 and I would highly recommend the Bahama Bay.

  We first visited Bahama Bay back in 2004 and found the resort so good that we have been back every year since. In fact this year we booked for 6 weeks. The apartments are massive and are fully furnished that you want for nothing, you don't even need to take towels!! The grounds are beautifully kept and there is a 24 hour security gate at the entrance. We have always found the resort staff to be very helpful indeed. For those who like to wind down at night there are two bars and the bar staff are very friendly. Nearby are supermarkets and plenty of places to eat. Disney is about 15 Mins away with Universal about 30 Mins. I would always recommend that you hire a car to get you about as the Orlando area is vast, for Instance Disney World is 49 square miles alone!!! Over the last 17 years we have stayed in many Hotels/Apartments but Bahama Bay is without doubt the best. We have already booked for another 6 weeks September/October 2011

  We've actually stayed at Bahama Bay twice now. The first time in March 2007 when we came with other family members and our children for our wedding. It was perfect. So perfect that we returned again this year in Feb and we stayed in the exact same apartment (Gran Bahama). As a family we couldn't recommend Bahama Bay enough. The only down side being that there is so much to see and do in Orlando that we wish we had spent more time at the resort too : ) Our kids are now 8 and 11 and in their words one of the best parts about Florida is Bahama Bay. We can't wait to go again.

  For the last 4 years we have stayed at Bahama bay 6 times and were fortunate to stay in all the different types of apartments on offer at the resort.We have found all the apartments owned by Gary & Kendall to be tiptop condition and an advantage is you get to choose which block you'd prefer to stay in with the amount of propertys they have there.The resort itself is brilliant plenty of pools to choose from,a beach area,shop,cinema,gym and spa it is that good that you could actually stay there 14 days and not have to leave the resort.We actually stay there and some days drive 15 mins into Disney another day go to a beech another day golf infact i wont go on anymore just book one of these apartments and have the holiday of a lifetime.

  We enjoyed a great vacation at Bahama Bay in a nice furnitured and fully equipped spacy 2-bedroom appartement. Friendly staff and a Resort we fell in love with from the very first moment. A nice heated pool and even a sandy beach turned our 4 week vacation into a perfect experiance. We decided to return in 2011 - already for the third time.

  Compared to many other resorts in Orlando region, Bahama Bay is easily one of the best resorts in that price range. Nice, clean modern houses located in middle of all interesting things and relatively close to Downtown Orlando. Year after year, I love to return to Bahama Bay, and I can highly recommend it to everyone else.

  Kendall, First of all, Thankyou so much for the tips on which apartment to book (B16113), it suited us perfectly. We were a minutes walk from the pool and clubhouse, a five minutes walk from the restaurant, which was perfect after a good meal and we could even see the Disney fireworks going off in the distance, we all loved it. Our journey from the airport was a bit of a nightmare, make sure that you listen to the car rental assistants when they provide you with directions, don't think that you know better and head towards Kissimmee, as you'll do what I done and get lost. The resort was, however well signed from the end of the 192 and the perfect driving distance from both International Drive/ the Universal Parks and the Disney parks, my wife was also pleased that the Orlando Premium Outlets were only a 10 minute drive away up the I4, however my bank manager wasn't so pleased, nor was the taxi driver that had to take our extra cases to the airport for us, as they wouldn't fit in the SUV. When we first arrived, the kitchen was stocked with breakfast cereals, bacon and eggs, which is already a step further than any of the other Kissimmee apartments we've stayed in, in the past. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the apartment, it was perfect for us, 3 adults and 3 young children (2/4/8). The kids couldn't believe "our new holiday home" and loved the heated pools, especially when we got back from the long walks around the theme parks, they were in their element. All in all, the apartment was perfect and well sized, the grounds were immaculate and maintained throughout our stay, the staff were friendly and outgoing, the pools were clean and warm, which was great, as the soft December winds were getting chilly in the afternoon and Bob and the other 'gate keepers' were super courteous, with a salute or wave, each and every time you passed by, the kids loved them. We haven't yet touched upon the downsides of our stay, but that's because there were none. This place is ideal for almost anyone, I've already recommended it a number of times to friends and colleagues and can't wait to go back late next year. Happy Holidays...!

  Kendall & Gary, On arrival at Bahama Bay we were greated by friendly and helpful staff at the main reception building. The gardens were beautiful when we drove in the main gate and the whole property was well maintained. Our 3 Bedroom appartment was better than we expected. It was very clean and spacious, it had everything we needed, we were very happy when we walked into the kitchen and there were groceries on the bench and in the fridge for us, just enough to get us started. The kids loved the pool by the lake. Tradewinds restaurant had great service and food and it was good that it was open till 10pm as we had some late nights from being at the themeparks all day. The shopping centres were also very close by as were the themeparks. If we come to Florida again we will come straight to Bahama Bay. Thankyou. The Baker Family

  Hi Kendall Just to let you know we had a great stay a Bahama Bay. We are considering returning next year and to be honest we wouldn`t even bother looking at other accommodation! Our apartment,a Grand Bahama was very spacious and well equipped with a lovely view over an orange grove.(It would be a shame if the orange grove was lost to a "development") All the staff at Bahama Bay were very friendly and helpful.My only criticism is the resort is not well signed and would have been very difficult to find without the info pack. I have to admit I was nervous about booking direct, having always used Travel agents in the past but I needn`t have worried. The booking procedure was very simple and efficient, deposits etc acknowleded quickly, emails were also answered quickly .It was also reassuring to check on the web site that our particular apartment had been booked. We all felt Bahama Bay is a lovely place to stay and wouldn`t hesitate recommending it to family and friends and will definitely be staying there again one day. Regards Joan McWean
