Cozy beach house in Hartstene Pointe, a quiet, gated community located in the south Puget Sound. Guests can get to Harstene Island from Seattle, Tacoma, Bremerton or Olympia in under two hours. The Bremerton Ferry makes the trip from Seattle very easy...no traffic!
The cities of Shelton and Belfair are 15 minutes away.
The smoke-free house is nestled in the woods with access to the beach right across the street.
Many of the amenities include:
Full service kitchen with dishwasher and access to many condiments and cooking supplies.
Living room with a wood burning stove and stereo with CD player.
A large covered deck that provides guests with a sheltered place to dine, relax and watch the deer.
Two upstairs bedrooms with queen beds. Full bath also on the upper level.
Daylight lower level with an additional bedroom with bunk beds and a second bathroom with shower.
The "Cedar" room is a spacious family area with TV, VCR and DVD player. The double futon in the Cedar room provides additional sleeping accommodations.
Washer and dryer provided at no additional charge.
Guests at the "Pointe" enjoy a heated swimming pool (seasonal), hot tub (seasonal), tennis courts and a club house with a library, pool table and ping pong table. There is also free wireless Internet access in the club house.
There are five miles of hiking trails and over three miles of private beach with picnic facilities. The barbecue, sink, stove and fire place make year-round picnicking at the beach very easy.
The Olympic National Park is an hour away and a book of trail maps is provided. There are also several public golf courses nearby.
Sleeps up to eight guests. For larger groups additional houses are available, just email with your details.
Harstene Pointe is a wonderful place for a romantic weekend or a family reunion.

Spent the Christmas weekend at the cabin. Had a picnic on the beach and a hike in the Olympic Mts. Very quiet and very dark at night!
