Your home was beautiful! The pictures don't do it justice. There was plenty of room for the six adults and four children. We loved the fenced in back yard. It allowed us to let the children play outside while we would get ready for the day's events. The kitchen was well stocked. There was plenty of space for the families to be separate or enjoy time together. The dining room was plenty big for all of us to sit together for our main meals. The kitchen table was a gathering spot for early morning conversations. The decks were beautiful and we found ourselves spending quite a bit of time outside. We were even able to have a picnic outside. It would have been nice to have the deck chairs available since the weather was so mild. Our son lives in Broomfield...the reason for our visit. He loved visiting and showing us around Estes Park. It was exciting watching the Elk in Estes. The weather was beautiful (70 on two different days). Thank you so much for the use of your home. It made our visit a wonderful vacation! Our only negative was that the hot water didn't seem to last long enough. We had to plan our hot water usage around each other.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: We are so happy you enjoyed our home. We will have the water heater checked out.

A destination wedding brought us to Estes Park and a stay at this wonderful property. The layout of the home with the two "sides" fit our multiple families’ needs perfectly. We had LOTS of room and we were very comfortable. I would recommend staying here any time of year. The home is located in a private, quiet setting, but close to town and all of the activities offered in Estes Park. We had a great stay!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: We are glad you enjoyed our home. Please come back again.

We had a wonderful time and the house was all it was advertised to be. It was very clean, the kitchen was full and fully stocked, and the heating and hot water were easily regulated and very adequate. All four couples were more than happy with the accommodations. Thanks for providing what you said you would.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Just had a wonderful 3 day visit to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. The property was just as described -- a split house - 3 bedrooms on one side and 2 bedrooms on the other side. There were 2 living rooms and a great kitchen. The two decks outside were great for us to sit on and enjoy the scenery and nice weather. It was great to take walks in the morning and evening with our 3 year old granddaughter and see the elk and deer right across the street. The house was right along the lake and there were no traffic issues --- a big deal considering all the traffic that was in the downtown area due to the Elk Fest. We have been to Estes Park and stayed in hotels before --- renting this house was the way to go! It was very comfortable and just a nice place to come back to and relax at the end of very busy days. The kitchen was well stocked - plenty of plates and dishes, soap, trash bags. Having the kitchen, dishwasher, and laundry was great! We will definitely use this property again when we return to Colorado in the future. I would highly recommend anyone coming to Estes Park to consider this property. It was in a private neighborhood and just a great place to relax.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing.

We stayed at this property with Grandma, 4 of our grown children and 3 grandchildren and could not have asked for a better layout. With bedrooms on both ends of the house we were able to have a "quiet side" and a louder side and not disturb babies napping. Loved the 2 decks on the outside and the easy access to the trail across the street for strolls and running. We will choose this property again.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Glad you enjoyed your time. It is a good set up for family gatherings. Hope to see you again!

This home has plenty of space for families coming together who would like the room to spread out a bit. The two living rooms were really nice as the kids could relax and watch a movie while the adults were in the other living room. On the down side, the exterior landscaping was in dire need of some upkeep, and there were a handful of chairs on one of the decks that were unusable due to tears in the seats. That being said, this house offers great space and plenty of room for your dollar, and you're close to downtown Estes and Fish Creek Trail which you can pick up right across the street.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: We are glad that you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for the feed back. We will keep your ideas in mind. We just put in a brand new deck with new chairs, and have some plans for landscaping. However, the rustic/natural style is the norm here in Estes. Hope to see you back in the future!

We had a great time staying at this house. We had a big group (8 adults and 7 kids ages 10-19 yrs old). There was plenty of space for all of us! The pictures and description of the property are right on- we really enjoyed the new deck and spent most of our time out there. It was also nice having the walking trail right out the front door and the views of the mountains were great! We are already talking about returning next year!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: Hope to see you again next year!

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this home and now I've experienced winter and summer. It's a wonderful home with all the ammenities and close to all the action in Estes Park. You can have lots of people but still have privacy because it is so large. If you want a view out your backdoor, look somewhere else. But the stars and comforts of this home make it ideal for a multi-family or family and friends getaway. You will enjoy it, promise!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We were two families of 4 sharing a mountain adventure and vacationing together for the first time. This house was the perfect home away from home for 4 adults and 4 toddlers. With two separate wings to the house, we were able to have our own space. Meal times were wonderful as we had the option of dining inside on a large table that seats 8 comfortably or outside to enjoy the scenery and fresh air. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful with the occasional hiker or bicyclist on the trail out front. The kids had thoroughly enjoyed the enclosed backyard. They explored every inch without us fearing for their safety. And to help wind down, they had fun choosing from the video library. We found the location ideal: close enough to the playground, grocery store, and center of town without all the busy-ness. And heading to RMNP daily was no problem, even enjoying the scenic route via Mary Lake Rd to avoid "downtown". We really enjoyed our time. Can't wait to return and stay again in the future!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.
Owner response: We are so glad that you enjoyed your time. Please come back and stay again soon!

We stayed at this home during my sister's wedding weekend in Estes Park. There were 6 kids and 4 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone. We even had it worked out that the kids mostly stayed on one side of the house and the adults on the other so we could get a little more sleep. The house was so close to our event facility, Taharra Mountain Lodge and very close to town as well. We could zip into town to get groceries or to have meals out. It was super convenient and we would definitely come back again. The house was well stocked with kitchen items and thankfully a coffee maker. The outdoor patio was really nice as well. We all really enjoyed our stay.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This house worked out great! There were no surprises when we arrived, the house had exactly what the info said it would. We had 10 people ( 2 families ) and there was plenty of room for everyone. The layout of the house worked well in the morning, the early bird coffee drinkers did not disturb those that had the chance to sleep in a little. This is the first time we have not stayed at a hotel or with family on a trip and we would certainly rent a house again. Make sure the trash can lids are secured outside, the critters were having a smorgasbord while we slept! Great House + Great Weather = Great Vacation!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful President's Day weekend in Estes Park. The house was perfect for our group of 4 couples, plus a few drop-in guests for meals. The listing was very accurate in all regards and the property was very clean and comfortable. Utensils, dishes and cooking equipment were plentiful and everything worked! We would definitely recommend it to others and are hoping to return for the same weekend next year.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We loved the house. There was plenty of room and lots of beds. Great floor plan. Kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes and pans. Enough dishes to serve our family of 13. The washer and dryer were brand new and came in handy. House was in good condition and furnished very well. The description says it is 5 minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park...it is more like 20 minutes. It is in a very nice housing addition and 8 minutes from the Safeway and about 10 minutes from Downtown. We would love to come back in the summer and stay here again, everyone had a blast!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! You are definitely right about the distance to the RMNP. Google maps says it is 4.9 miles to the Beaver Meadows entrance which would take 10-20 minutes depending on the elk traffic! I will change that on the website! I hope you will consider us again in the future for your stay in Estes Park!
