You have covered parking in the 1st floor garage under the building and easy access to the elevator. A luggage cart helps you carry belongings to the 6th floor. Extra parking in front of the building.
Int. 95 and beach road A1A travel north and south.
ST. AUGUSTINE, (25min) the oldest city, is north on A1A for a beach side ride. So much history and fun things to do. Stroll the cobbled streets of Old Town and visit historical spots and buy souvenirs in the shops. Walk in the Castillo de San Marcos Fort on the bay and enjoy the views of the Marina with it's anchored boats. You can take a cruise for a view of the city coastline. Other attractions will help to fill your day. Have lunch at one of the places on San Marco Ave. and enjoy outside dining with views of the Marina. Be sure to take a Trolley Train to see the sites and hear the history of the city. Another day trip to St. Augustine would be the Premium Outlet Shops for some bargain hunting in all the major brand name stores. Take I95 north; the shops are on both sides of the expressway. Before you reach St. Augustine on A1A, there are 2 must visit stops for fun and history.
MARINELAND (15min) is a real treat where you can feed and swim with the Dolphins and even have an artistic encounter with one. The shop is filled with a variety of tee shirts and fun marine toys. This is another chance to view the beautiful Atlantic. You
can find info. on activities and how to reserve in a brochure.
FORT MATANZAS (5min no. from Marineland) is on the left after the beautiful Matanzas Inlet with white sands and fishing from the bridge. A free ferry will take you across the Intracoastal to the fort and a guide will tell the history of the fort protecting St. Augustine. If you enjoy history, this is a must visit.
DAYTONA BEACH, (30min) south on A1A will lead you to the beach and the birth place of speed. Take a drive on the beach where racing actually began. The International Speedway is the home of Nascar and other racing venues. For the golfers, there is Miniature Golf and a Water Park will cool everyone.
FLAGLER BEACH, (15min) so. on A1A. At the stop light state road 100 takes you to Int. 95. On the left is the fishing pier and a place to have lunch and enjoy the views of beach and ocean. Take a stroll out on the pier and see what the catch of the day is. There are many places to have lunch or dinner along A1A.
BULOW PLANTATION, near Palm Coast, is the ruins of a sugar plantation. Learn about the family and slaves that lived there and worked the sugar mill. More interesting history from the area and a place to enjoy the tree filled land on the Intracoastal.
This is just a sampling to give you an idea where Cinnamon Beach is located and what the area has to offer. A trip here can give you relaxation and worry free time on the beach or offer you activities that are fun and full of history. We have many couples and families that come year after year to enjoy the beautiful area of The Hammock.

About the owner: We are Doug and Betty Parker and we have been married 40+ years and we have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. Doug is from Arkansas and Betty is from Texas. We moved here from Hot Springs, Ar. after Doug retired. We love the Hammock!! It is a wonderful place to call home.
Why the Owner Chose Ocean Hammock Resort:
We lived in Ormond Beach in the 80's and have always loved this area. We were very fortunate to be able to come back. The timing was perfect because we found our little piece of paradise by chance. Our first walk into the condo took our breaths. We were sold! and we still love the feeling every time we walk in. We now live in a home just outside the Cinnamon Beach gates in Ocean Hammock. As much as we love the beach, we also like going to St. Augustine (25 min.) for lunch or dinner. It's a must visit for you while you are here. Our grandchildren were in awe at the Alligator Farm on A1A . They also loved Marineland (15 min.) and feeding the dolphins. There are several activities you can do with them. Our son took them to Walt Disney World (90 min.) for a long fun filled day. He enjoys kayaking and his wife enjoys shopping at the St. Augustine Outlet Mall (30 min). Go south to world famous Daytona Beach. You can drive on the beach or go explore the Daytona International Speedway. Whatever you decide, we are here with answers for you. There is no way you can come to our little paradise without having the best time.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The view from the balcony is the best! It is amazing with the ocean always changing colors and the waves changing with the tides. Picture yourself enjoying all of this every morning with your coffee. Also, relax at sunset with a cocktail. There is no better view at Cinnamon Beach!!!
