Accommodations: Cottage, 1 Bedroom + Bunk Area, 1 Bath (Sleeps 4)
This cottage is in a large meadow and woodland setting. Has a great swimming beach on the Straight of Georgia. The cottage is ideal for four persons - there is one double bedroom and 2 full size bunks. No pets please.
From the cottage a large meadow opens up toward the sea. At the beach sand and huge sandstone rocks, arbutus trees, and tall Douglas firs surround a quiet bay. Looking east, Gossip Island is just a short paddle away. Beyond is the distant sea and the border of mountains.
When the tide is low, harbour seals bask in the sun. Otters and mink can peak out between the rocks. Deer browse in the meadow. Quiet. Only the songs of birds, gulls, crows, swallows, kingfishers, and the occasional ship is heard. It may look like a postcard but you need not leave this place to get the picture.
During summer months the rental period is by the week. The week starts with the first ferry in Sunday morning from Tsawwassen (50 minute ride), until the last ferry out to Tsawwassen on Saturday evening.
