My family and I visited the property over the weekend and had a fabulous time. It was clean, spacious and very comfortable for six adults and two kids. You also cant beat the location. I would definitely recommed this place to other families and friends!

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

It's taken me a year to get around to writing this. I remembered because I'm looking to rent this house again this summer. My family stayed here last summer and had a wonderful time. The house is only a block from the beach, in a very quiet location.. The owner is very friendly and helpful and he has lots of beach supplies on hand (sand castle tools, pop-up shade, boogie boards). The house is comfortable and spacious. I enjoyed cooking in the kitchen as well. There's no dining room table, but I liked the way lots of seating was at the bar around the kitchen. It makes cooking a pleasure because everyone can gather there. The house has all the conveniences you would want and the pool was nice to hang out around in the late afternoons/evenings.

We could not have picked a more perfect place to bring the grand children for a fabulous week at the beach! Our host was laid back, helpful and gave us the privacy of having the whole place to ourselves. The home was clean, well equiped and a super lay out for allowing us a break from the children for a cocktail at the pool. Don't hesitate to book this fabulous property. You won't be disappointed!

This was a last minute vacation for us and what a wonderful choice we made. We are so delighted that we found Tommy's QUE PADRE home. We went para-sailing, rented jet skis, fishing via personal captain, shopping and much more.. It was so nice to come home and crash in a clean and wonderful home. Our stay was too short; next time we will stay longer! Tommy and Lisa are the best. They have all the best hook-ups for Island Fun. We will be back!

6/22/2009 We stayed 4 nights and everything was great. The house is is good shape, it was clean, well furnished, close to beach, nice pool, etc... We had 8 in our group and had plenty of room. I would stay again.

House and location are awesome. The house was very clean and loaded with amenities. Our family really enjoyed being a block from the beach and very close to the nightlife in Padre. Tommy is a great person to rent from and went out of his way to make us feel welcome and offer advice on local activities.

Que-Padre really was the best place to stay on the beach. I stayed there over the 4th of July weekend, 2008, as a part of my friends bachelor party. We were within walking distance to the entertainment district which included all the main bars and clubs. Tom was a great host and provided great local information about where to go. The house far exceeded any expectations we had. The pool and hot tub along with the tiki bar and grill in the back yard were big hits when we had a small get together on the 4th. I will be back for sure, and Que-Padre will be where I stay. Thanks Tom for everything

What a great time, this is not the first house we have rented in South Padre but defnetley the best, glean, modern, well stocked, nice back yard and close to the beach. We will defnetley book again for our family reunion.

Tom and Lisa were great and me and my family thank you both so much for such an awesome stay!!! Both Tom and Lisa were very hospitable, they took us to Mexico (which was an awesome time) They told us about all the great places on the island and introduced us to so many different people...everything was very clean in the beach house and all of our needs were met....they really made us feel right at home...we are definitely coming back!!!! WE HIGHLY recommend you and your family to visit!

The house was great. The pool and the jacuzzi made it complete. Everything you need right at your fingertips. The front balcony provides an awesome view of the Friday night fireworks. We had a great time, and will definitely come back. Would recommend to anyone going to South Padre.

We had a great great time in South Padre and a large part of that was due to our excellent lodging & accomodations. Tom gave us the low-down on where to party, eat, hit the beach, etc. The beach house was excellent and we were not left wanting in any way whatsoever.

Tom was a great host. He gave tips on fishing/windsurfing before we got there and where to go. The house completely exceeded expectations (pictures on the website do not do it justice). And you can't beat the location. Short walk to beach, restaurants, clubs and the best Convenience Store/Taco Bell/Long John Silvers combination everywhere (great for last minute purchases).

They were very hospitable, showed us around the beach, let us know what's hot and what's not....everything was very clean in the beach house and all of our needs were met....they really made us feel right at home...we are definitely coming back!!!!
