Château Bussas, dating back to 1197, is set in 200 acres of spectacular scenery bordering the river Gardon. It provides an ideal setting for a relaxing holiday.
It has been divided into five separate self-contained apartments that can be rented individually or in combination for groups. The main apartment has a spacious reception and dining area that is ideal for large parties.
The secluded valley of Bussas offers a perfect retreat. It is in the heart of the Cevennes, an area of unspoilt beauty with its great forests of chestnut trees and outstanding wild life.
Walkers and mountain bikers can enjoy the trails through the hills and the majestic scenery stretching towards the Mediterranean to the south and the Massif Central to the north.
The historic towns of Nîmes, Uzes, Avignon and Montpellier are within easy reach for sightseeing or taking in the local markets.
Mountain biking, canoeing down to the Pont du Gard, horse-riding and tennis can all be arranged locally.
