Access to Auke Bay where rental kayaking is available with fishing and sightseeing venues. It is two miles from the Auke Bay Ferry Terminal with access to Haines and Skagway for additional day trips for sightseeing. There is also quick access to a number of charter outfitters that offer whale watching and additional wildlife viewing.It offers convenient access to Glacier Bay National Park, Tracy Arm Fjord, The Taku River, and Pack Creek Bear Preserve. Fly fishing and rod and reel fishing for multiple salmon species and Dolly Varden, Cutthroat and Steelhead Trout are found in surronding water and shoreline areas. Juneau is the Capital City of Alaska and home of the Mendenhal Glacier one of the state's top attraction.
