This bright, airy, clean, well-furnished home is terrific for a family of six but also works well for two small families. It is in a quiet rural area, on a typical Vineyard dirt lane, yet minutes away from shopping, beaches, and ferry. Kitchen was newly renovated in 2010 with granite countertops, new cupboards and tile flooring. Open concept living and kitchen area work well for cooking and socializing.
The secluded yard, an acre of land, provides privacy and a safe play space. The bike path is just across the road and tennis courts are an easy bike ride away.
Available for year-round rentals, with a weekly minimum "in season," the house is a great value for peaceful off-season getaways. It is a home that gets lots of return tenants, so book early for summer weeks. We have ferry tickets available for July and August changeover days.

7/6/2011 for a stay in June 2011. "This rental property is superb! It was very clean and everything was well maintained. Has everything you need, including BBQ grill, washer/dryer, dishwasher and a hammock! It was located in a very tranquil area with easy access to all the other towns and beaches. The experience with the homeowner was very positive. She was friendly and extremely helpful. I would definitely recomment this property to anyone!"

We enjoyed a fabulous week in West Tisbury. The house was clean, spacious and in a great location. We went between three great nearby beaches. The close proximity of the bike trail was very convenient. The owners made us feel comfortable and welcome with an easily usable kitchen and availability for advice.
Recommended for:Pet owners, girls getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, age 55+.

We have stayed at this house several times. Each time we arrive, it seems like we're visiting family. The location is perfect, off the highway and not too far from all points on the island. The house has a welcoming feeling. The photos are a true representation of the living space, which is quite ample. We enjoyed staying at the house very much. The many beaches are just a short ride away. The kids enjoyed riding on the near-by bike path and I loved being close to the village for shopping. I have recommeded the house to friends, because of the good experiences that we have had there. susan w from Franklin Lakes, nj, who vacationed in July 2009.
