Very comfortable 3 bedroom 2 bath block home, and the yard just beckons you outside to enjoy the sun! The roomy master bedroom has a king size bed, and tub/shower combo. The second bedroom has a queen size bedroom set, and the third bedroom is a bunk room with queen over queen beds. All bedrooms have quality furniture, flat screen tvs and ample closets. The kids room is loaded with board games for those rainy days. The second bathroom also has a tub/shower combo. The kitchen has just been remodeled with extensive granite counters and lots of cabinets. My favorite spot is the granite dining counter separating the kitchen from the living/ dining room, allowing the house to be very open and airy. The living room is furnished with very comfortable Tommy Bahama style sofa and loveseat, a great place to sit while watching the 55 inch TV or gazing out the window at the pool. The dining room has an elegant table that seats 6 very easily. Across from the kitchen is the game room equipped with a full size pool table. The TV has Verizon cable, Netflix for movies and shows, Pandora for music, etc. and there is WiFi for your internet. All the linens, kitchenware, etc. are included. There is a laundry room with a washer, dryer, iron, etc.for those dreaded chores. In the kitchen, along with dishes , is a blender, toaster, coffee maker, slow cooker, bullet blender, microwave, and all the pots and pans you need. The house sits on almost a 1/2 acre lot so the yard is pretty large. There is a beautiful garden and lots of tropical palms and lawn, a large pool and hot tub, a gazebo and lots of chairs and lounges to enjoy our wonderful Florida sun. You can swim, sun, or just relax in the quiet and privacy of a fully fenced yard. There is also a fenced off pond behind the house so there are no neighbors there. The front yard has large Florida trees and a nice lawn also. Across the street there are no houses, just The Bradenton Country Club golf course (hence the name for this house). Its a private course so you can't play there but it is nice to look at and makes a wonderful neighbor. Along the front is a one lane, tree lined road that just begs to be explored. The neighborhood is upscale and charming. There are also 2 carports in the driveway available to use . GT Bray park is only about a mile away and boasts playgrounds, ballfields, walking and biking trails and a dog park. The beaches at Anna Maria island are only about 7 miles away and are some of the nicest beaches I have ever seen. Downtown Bradenton is also close and has great restaurants, museums, the Riverwalk, and great free music concerts.

About the owner: I guess I have a bit of wanderlust in my blood. I was raised in New York, and as soon as I was old enough, I took off for the wild west. Oregon attracted my attention for 10 years while we started a family but I finally rusted and our family decided to try out the deserts of Arizona. Baja Mexico was a frequent destination with our RV. We all owned desert dirt bikes to play around with down there. The 4 kids grew up and apparently inherited the wanderlust and took off to see the country. I eventually relocated to Florida to be near my aging parents, and have decided to stay here. I have been self employed most of my life having successfully owned an excavating business in Oregon and a pool business in Arizona. I have always been involved in real estate and have found a niche helping people enjoy their special times and vacations. This home was our personal residence so we take great pride in keeping it clean and in great condition and in making it a destination for fun and sun. We would like to be a part of your family's MAKING MEMORIES.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes: I have visited my parents here in Bradenton for 20 years. I remember my Dad saying it was paradise here because it had no red lights. He was a truck driver from New York City. When my wife passed away, I headed here to spend time with my aging parents. The longer I was here, the more captivating it became. To see the Gulf, or the Inland Waterway, or the Manatee River everyday is a gift. The magnificent Florida trees rival the huge conifers of California in their own way. So many species of birds, and the dolphins, the fish jumping, the manatees, the lush greens, and the beautiful pastures inland are a rare collection of nature's treasures.
The Unique Benefits at this House: Why do I love this home (or why did I buy this house for myself to begin with) I like a bit of privacy and room. The golf course across the street means no neighbors there and lots of trees, grass, and views instead. The pond in the back is always interesting to look at. The backyard is big with room for a large pool and still a good size lawn. The house is built strong. All concrete block -even the interior walls, double pane hurricane windows, heavy doors, beefy trusses, and an interesting layout. I like being able to sit at the counter in the kitchen and watch TV or look out the window at the birds, the pool, or the tall Royal Palms. The front carports are very usable , and the garage (inaccessible for guests) is handy for storage.
