Welcome to Barkaboom Lodge located in historic Bovina, New York in the heart of the Western Catskills. The site is an ex-dairy farm with multiple buildings and a magnificent 1895 dairy barn with stone bridgeway. The house is the Artist residence of Barkaboom studio. Situated on 100 acres of land, 3000 feet bordering the little Delaware River, It is the home to many Blue herons, Eagles, Phoebes, Kingfishers and other exotic birds.The river is an angler's paradise. There are several miles of grass paths manicured weekly.
The house has been gutted and designed in a rustic early 1800's country flavor featuring three bedrooms, two bathrooms with soaking tub, library and video lounge, 65 Ft. wraparound veranda, master bedroom porch, Adirondack fireplace, industrial kitchen with jade stove, Limestone counters and well appointed.
Barkaboom Lodge was designed by designer/owner with multiple Sq Ft. of recycled barnboards, 150 year old hand-hewn beams , English stained glass windows and antique lighting throughout. The residence is equipped with wireless internet, cable TV and professional Sound System with six speaker zones. The property in Bovina is in proximity to Cooperstown, Glimmmerglass, Hunter, Windham, Belleayre ski areas, , Woodstock, Phoenicia and the Beaverkill for the best fly- fishing in the northeast.
