Front of house - Corolla, North Carolina Home in the Outer Banks! Wonderlust, her name says it all, doesn't it! Set your mind free and let yourself go in our beautiful Currituck Club summer home! Our home is professionally decorated with an ocean vacation in mind. Look no further for just the right place to rest, relax, and leave the stress behind. Our delightful new home, featuring ocean views and private pool and hot tub is calling you to throw your cares to the wind. Bring your faithful four-legged companion along too, for some quality time as you jog or just stroll along miles of lighted trails. You will want to stay much longer than you planned! The main level of this spacious open floor plan home consists of a fully-equipped kitchen that will allow you to make anything you can imagine, from your favorite frosty drink to the largest lobster you can find. We have provided recipes of our favorite cuisine. The great room consists of a gas fireplace, cable TV, surround sound, along with a DVD/CD and VCR. The dining room seats eight and there is room for four at the breakfast bar. The king-size master bedroom is setoff to the side of this floor for privacy, with access to the screened-in porch. Enjoy summer breezes from our back deck off the dining room and our screened-in porch with ceiling fan off the great room. Enjoy a great Outer Banks sunset from our screened-in porch with a nice cool drink. On the first floor, you can enjoy a game of cards or checkers in our game room while the kids play their favorite Play Station games, or just relax on the couch watching a movie or listening to your favorite music. If you are looking to burn off some energy, step into our recreation room and play a game or two on our professional grade air-hockey and foosball tables. This floor also has a queen master bedroom suite with a TV and VCR and access to the back deck. A bedroom with a pyramid bunk with trundle and an additional queen size bedroom with TV. The tower room is one of my favorite places! Here is where you can spend a nice quiet afternoon curled up on the couch (that opens to a queen size pullout bed) reading a good book with a nice chilled glass of white wine, a slow turning ceiling fan, and a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean. If you really need to, although we do not encourage it, you can plug your laptop into our high-speed cable line and do some work from my desk - just remember, you are on vacation! Enjoy the ocean views during the day and reach-out and touch the stars at night from this room. Our pool area is fenced in for your privacy. Sit out back and enjoy your cool beverages while you dangle your feet in the pool. Enjoy your favorite grilled food from our Weber gas grill. Our hot tub is tucked away from our neighbors for your privacy when you're relaxing at night and the kids are asleep! When you are done playing around the house, step outside and enjoy the many amenities the Currituck Club has to offer. It starts with an 18-hole championship Rees Jones golf course. If you do not feel like walking the course but want to workout a few, take advantage of the driving range and putting green. The Currituck Club has miles of lighted pedestrian jogging and biking paths for those leisurely morning or evening strolls. You can also take advantage of the free trolley service to the beach, the seven tennis courts, four half-court basketball courts, community pools, a sand volleyball court, and a children's playground - sheez, I am getting tired just telling you about it. Oh! And do not worry about missing your daily workout; the Currituck Club has a fully equipped fitness center - all at your disposal. And did I mention the beach? Well I'm sure you know, the Outer Banks is famous for its wide sand beaches and beautiful sparkling warm blue water - after all, that is why we're here! The Currituck Club offers luxury, activities, privacy, and security that you will not experience anywhere else on the Outer Banks. There is an Italian restaurant, Martini Bar and Day Spa on the premises. Nearly 60% of our guests last year were repeat guests. Come on down and visit us at Wonderlust and find out why!
