FIRST THINGS FIRST!! I know money is tight. If you want to get a lower rate, and can pay now, I will reduce your rent. Ask about from 11/1/11-Easter for a special rate.
The shell shack is our family's getaway, and we want it to be your's also!! We have a wonderful place, with four rocking chairs on the covered front porch, one is a double, just perfect for relaxing when the day is done. The kitchen table seats four, and the breakfast bar can seat four children or two adults. There's a sofa , 2 TV's, one with DVD player and one with VCR and two comfortable chairs with a couch in the adjoining den. The first bedroom is small, but has 2 bunk beds, and a rocking chair. The laundry room that used to be here was removed to make this bedroom bigger ( in case you have rented from us before, we no longer have a washer/dryer).This bedroom connects with the second bedroom, which has a full-size bed. The largest bedroom is next to this, with a private entrance, full-size bed, and TV . The bathroom is on the main hallway, with a full-size tub with shower. We are on a quiet street, and we only rent to adults 26 and older. Families are our specialty!!
On that note, ocen lakes is a family resort. They have church on Sunday, Gospel music on Sunday nights, and private security that takes what they do seriously. If you are looking for a place to get drunk and carry on, Ocean lakes is not for you!!
Ocean Lakes has so much to do, you may never leave the front gate!! There is a great outdoor pool with kids splashland, miniature golf, indoor pool, ping-pong, bike rental, an incredible arcade, four snackbars and two restaurants, a campground store with everything you need, and beautiful beaches. There are 2 full size basketball courts right next to the beach, which is where my 17year old son and I spend most of our time. Games go on until 11 pm, when they turn the lights off to make us go!!We have a link to the ocean lakes website. There is fishing in lakes, surf casting, or at the pier which is a 15 minute walk. We've stayed at Ocean Lakes before and this cottage was so much better than our previous stays. The Shell Shack is just as it appears in the photos. Brian was always available to answer questions. After a day at the beach/pool, it was so nice to come "home", relax, cook our own meals and sit on the front porch. It was just enough for our family - 2 adults/2 teens and our dog. We know we'll be back one dayRecommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, girls getaway, families with young children.

This house was perfect for us!! We brought our two young kids and small dog. The quiet street was nice for the kids to play and ride bikes. The price allowed us to enjoy our stay so much more! Will come again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

I brought my children (teens) down for the first week of June and this house provided everything we needed with ample parking, cozy rockers on front porch, and nice furnishings. We definitely will want to visit again! Thank you!!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We love the beach, and the pools. Kids love the arcade, put-put, and hanging out with their new freinds on 'the strip' at night. The strip is the area right in front of the beach. Imagine 50's style cruising, but in golf carts!!You will feel at home at our house.
