  How thankful we are that we noticed this listing on VRBO! Luxury? Absolutely! The house was gorgeous and spacious and had all the amenities that we needed and then some to experience a relaxing week on Kiawah Island. We enjoyed grilling out on the deck, eating in the screened area, watching golfers out the back windows as we relaxed and soaked up the scenery and cozy fires in the fireplace in the evening as we played card games or watched tv. The location itself is so beautiful and private. Going through 2 security check points certainly made us feel safe and secure--like we were getting away to an exclusive destination! Dan was so helpful and welcoming and gave us some great ideas for places to go and things to do with our kids. We enjoyed the beautiful beach and all the ocean life and treasures from the sea that we saw there, the miles of bike trails, seeing several alligators in the wild, the Nature Center, shopping at nearby Freshfields Village and even going into Charleston to explore its history, do a little shopping at the Market and enjoy some fresh sea food. All of our children (ages 18, 17, 8 and 6) agreed that they would like to make this a return destination in the near future and we agree! When you have children with this range of ages that all give a thumbs up you know you've got a winning vacation spot! Thanks, Dan for opening your beautiful home to us and for calling to make sure that everything was acceptable. We had a wonderful family vacation spending time together and exploring the area!

  My husband and I returned to this lovely home for an 8-week stay (January and February, 2013). As usual, the owners were very concerned that we enjoy our stay to the fullest. Every detail was attended to promptly, and we enjoyed the home tremendously. This home is spotlessly clean, up to date, and beautifully decorated. The location is perfect for a short walk to the beach (georgous!) and for peace and relaxation. The view of the golf course from the back deck is quite splendid; go enjoy yourself in the beautiful spot!!!

  Rented your house in October - weather was perfect. An additional bathroom was added to the second floor and it was perfect, as was the entire house. It had everything we needed, grill, beautiful screened in porch for eating, decks off the first floor and second floor bedrooms as well as living room. It had all the comforts of home. Working with the owners, Dan and Linda was a pleasure, they were very accomodating to our needs. Will definitely come back and rent 742 Glossy Ibis again.

  We have been visiting this island for 6 years. We have stayed in 6 different houses and this one by far has been the best one. We hope to be able to rent this house every year from now on. It was very clean, incredible view, quiet, everything is new in the house and the upkeep is done with alot of thought and care. The owners were great to work with and really cared about our experience. I would HIGHLY recommend this house for your future stay. Please consider this rental property when looking for places to stay on this beautiful island.....you will NOT be disappointed. ENJOY !!!

  Our stay in your home on Kiawah last week was enjoyably and memorable. The house was perfect for our family and we loved sitting on the deck, going to the beach, riding the bicycles we rented, and visiting with our cousins who were there in two other houses. The photos on your website dont do justice to the great space and beauty of your home. My children were very impressed.

  We rented this house for a week in June, 2012. The owners have provided everything needed to make your visit to Kiawah a dream vacation. The house is immaculate and was very comfortable for our seven adult/four child group. Visitors are able to use beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and toys which meant I didn't have to bring those things with me. The screened in porch overlooking the second green of the Osprey course was a favorite resting/eating/reading location. There are no houses are either side of this house which makes this location very quiet and peaceful. My teenage children loved the complimentary night programs offered by the Kiawah camp staff. The beach is a short drive or bike ride away. You will truly enjoy this house.

  Terrific house, clean and very well appointed with all the comforts of home. We had 4 adults and 6 children nobody felt cramped. Beautiful dining Room, excellent kitchen and new laundry machines are just some of the pluses. 10 min ride via bikes to tremendous beach. Have dinner out on the deck before sundown and take a long look at the views of the golf course. We loved this house so much it is our second visit to it.

  My family recently rented this home for a week-long June vacation. We had four adults and six children, ranging in ages from 7 to 18, in our group. We are frequent visitors to Kiawah/Seabrook Island, SC. We found the home to be even more beautiful, comfortable and well-situated than was described on VRBO. You will be thrilled with this home. Just one walk through the home and you realize that the owners have thought of absolutely everything. The appointments and decorating are first-rate. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need during your stay. Less than five minutes after we walked through the door for the first time, the owner called to check and make sure that everything was to our satisfaction. We were happy to report that the home was spotless and that we had made the right choice. Book with confidence!
