Beautifully furnished Condo with two master bedrooms and two master bathrooms and large living/dining area (totalling 1250 square feet) faces the mountain with a beautiful view of the Keystone mountain resort.
Walk to River Run ski area at Keystone or take the shuttle which stops right in front of the building. Extensive biking trails just outside the Condo. Mountain bike at Keystone during the Summer.
Master bedroom one has king-size bed and a television. Master bedroom two has a double-bed with a twin bunk over it and a trundle below (also with a television). Master bathrooms one and two both contain large, full baths and separate showers. Large living area has a sofa sleeper which folds out into a double bed. Condo also has high-speed internet connection.
Convenience store has groceries and liquor for sale on bottom floor of Condo. Day spa also on bottom floor. Heated indoor parking garage.

Why the Owner Chose Gateway Mountain Lodge
I chose to buy this condo because it is so close to the Keystone Resort. Keystone is a great place to ski and is one of the only resorts that offers night skiing (which enables us to take more liberal breaks instead of quitting at 4pm).
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
This condo is well-designed and provides plenty of space. Both bedrooms are reasonably large (as are both bathrooms). The living area is one big room that includes the kitchen, dining area and living room so it keeps the whole group together.
The condo is just a few minutes walk to the Keystone Resort. If you are carrying skis, the Keystone shuttle stops right in front of the building and drops you off at Keystone River Run about 3 minutes later. (Staying at this condo provides you with a card that enables you to travel the Keystone Shuttle for free.) If you want to ski other places in addition to Keystone, there is easy access (by car) to Arapaho Basin (about 12 minutes), Breckenridge (about 25 minutes), Copper Mountain (about 20 minutes), Vail (about 45 minutes).
If you visit during the off-season, the condo is right next to miles and miles of biking/walking paths that go all over Summit County. If you're into mountain biking, Keystone lets you take your bike up the gondola and ride down from the top of the mountain (though I recommend verifying when they have the gondola running during off-season).
The Gateway Mountain Lodge also has a few convenient stores on the first floor. The liquor store provides some basic food if needed. There is a spa downstairs that offers great massages. There is also a ski rental and ski clothing store downstairs as well.
There are several restaurants in the immediate vicinity that are within walking distance. The restaurants include an excellent pizza parlor, a great breakfast place, a decent Mexican restaurant and a very good gourmet restaurant. There are also several bars and coffee places. There are many more restaurants in Dillon, Silverthorne and Breckenridge.

I am a Management Consultant and Project Manager for the Mortgage Banking Industry and live in Fort Worth, Texas. I love Keystone and the entire Summit County area. I enjoy snow skiing but I truly enjoy coming up there during the off-season as well. Hiking, biking, walking and going out on Lake Dillon are all things I look forward to every Summer or Fall.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property during March 2007. We had 4 adults & 2 children and there was plenty of room for everyone. It was very well equipped, clean and spacious. The 2 baths are exactly the same - large walk-in showers and garden tubs in both - which made it great with several adults. The view was spectacular - great for watching the Friday night fireworks. Our kids were able to play in snow right outside the building and enjoyed the video gameroom on premises. Having a washer & dryer in the unit was also very convenient. I would recommend this property to anyone and hope to stay there again someday.
