We have returned from our stay at your cabin, and all is well there. We woke up to about 4 inches of snow Friday morning, and there were intermittent snow showers most of the day. All told, I think about 6-8 inches of snow total at your cabin. Mt. Pinos must have gotten at least that if not more. Today was clear and sunny, 47 F when we left, so the snow is melting fast. We didn't do any X-C skiing, but we sure enjoyed the snow-scape, all the trees draped in snow. Just magical!

Our favorites were the rooms, the closet and the outdoors. Me and my best friend are about 12 and we got to have our own room. Also we made the cabin into a scrapbooking station and got to scrapbook our memories. We transformed our huge closet into a cozy hangout. And then there's the outdoors...We climbed a million trees! We also made videos so we could remember the fantastic time here. We thank you for allowing us to stay. PS: It snowed!

What a nice getaway it was for myself and my family. I just love your notes, your warmth that you can feel throughout the home, and all the great amenities. The curtains along the stairway is such a great idea for the heat containment, and we love your unique fireplace, and the porches, and all the wood. We had a Monopoly marathon on Monday afternoon into the evening, and just sat on the deck and star gazed. I am sure we will be contacting you again to rent your lovely place.

...being blessed with your cabin. We have had a peaceful and wonderful family time. Didn't know what to expect with it being the first time without snow, but we hiked and explored a lot more. Christmas eve after wine and an awesome dinner we all sat out bundled up on the deck and looked at the stars. We all expressed to God what we were thankful for and how much we loved each other. Very special. (Those of you who have teenagers know how special that was - Ha ha!) Thank you very much. Happy birthday Jesus.

on the wonderful essence of this cabin and all your special touches. Dima and I had a wonderful time exploring the Snowflake Wash Trails, Mt. Pinos, and look forward to a few more hikes tomorrow. I saw some jays, black phoebes, and Traill's flycatchers through your binoculars - thanks for leaving that out for us. This area is really quite rich with beautiful pines, wildflowers, stink bugs, birds and other critters. I hope it stays preserved forever. Looking forward to our next visit!

Our family met up in California from England and Australia and have had a fantastic break from the cities and beaches - so peaceful here. We are very impressed with your film collection and enjoyed choosing (difficult!) films and settling down with popcorn for the evening. The cabin notes were extremely useful. As were all the carefully labeled bits of information. Been fishing, bird watching and swimming and it's HOT, HOT, HOT!

Thank you! We really appreciated all the little touches. I can tell you really put a lot of care into making the place comfortable for people. The little notes are clear and helpful. There are a lot of supplies that you would never think to bring, things like matches and coffee filters.

The magnificence of the pine trees and stars enlightened my soul...a truly grounding experience! The constant sound of the running spring out back was beautiful. Hi Toni, It was terrific! The weather was great. The kids didn't want to leave. You have a sweet situation there right next to the creek and nature paths. A lot of the cabins seemed to be close to busier roads with no greenbelts surrounding them. It was obvious that your cabin was full of memories and sentiments. It was just beautiful. This is an absolutely charming cabin - rustic but comfortable, with unique character features to delight you around every corner. The location is very peaceful - sitting on the back deck with a steaming mug in your hands and listening the birds in the trees is sure to soothe any city-dwellers' weary soul! Although it is on a street with other homes, the cabin feels private and close to nature. Everything is well-kept and thoughtfully equipped, and the owner could not be more gracious and helpful in providing her guests with all the information & support they could need to enjoy their stay. I can't wait to return to this lovely retreat!

Hi, Toni! Wow, did we get some snow! What a magnificent storm! We had a fabulous time yet again. We love your cabin! Thanks for everything!!! We tell all our friends about this place. We even posted on Facebook while we were here. LOVE the internet access! And the birds are out in force! Wow! Our kids are getting older - no more Santa, so we tried something different...not being home for Christmas! Awesome! I think we found a new family tradition. We went hiking, played board games, ate, ate, drank, watched movies. The weather was perfect - warm, with enough snow, and on Christmas night it snowed! Thank you for a beautiful Christmas.

My husband and I are trying to buy a cabin in PMC; meanwhile we've rented several. Toni's cabin is one of the most beautiful, quiet and comfortable. It's all wood, which we love, has gorgeous interesting wood flooring with lots of throw rugs, stone floors in the kitchen, a great fireplace, two beautiful decks, bird feeders, and anything you could possible need and more! I went up for two days by myself and am returning for three more with my husband. If you want peace and quiet, this is a great place. If you want to be entertained, there are plenty of selections in music, movies, games....The location is one of the best in PMC on a cul de sac right across from the Snowflake trails. Enchanting!

Your cabin is so comfortable - we have stayed in self-catering places in the US, Europe and New Zealand - and yours is by far the most considerate and well-stocked that we have encountered! The snow was an unexpected treat. Peter was very nice and his dogs and ours have some breed similarities. He has really created a wonderful walk with the paths. My family and I had a blast this past weekend, the weather was just perfect! We've collected some pine nuts on the jeep trail (Pleito, Cherry and Salt creek road), it was a little messy because of pine tar, but FUN!!! I will send you some pictures later. Oh by the way the new doors & windows were great, it kept us warm at night. We had a splendid time up at your cabin. Everything is so organized, well explained and convenient. It's just perfect! We feel like we really discovered something nice. We can't wait to visit again during autumn, and of course in winter during ski season, so we can try out the stone fireplace. We're thinking October might be a good time.... Wow! Our first day here was HOT! We took the trails over to the coffee shop and it got so hot we had to peel off some layers. Our second day cooled off considerably, and our third day was so cold it started to snow before midnight - we awoke the next morning to a blanket of fresh snow. This is our fourth stay here and it seems like there is always something to discover. A woman in town told us about the waterfall trail.
