Beautifully furnished two-story town home with 2 decks. One overlooking Whitefish Lake/Big Mountain ski resort/Glacier Mountain peaks, the back deck from the master bedroom overlooks challenging 36-hole Whitefish Golf Course. Nice sized bedrooms, huge walk-in closet in master. Only 3 other neighbors on our private dead end road (in winter they are usually all away).
Nicely landscaped lot with huge tiger lilies, 4' iris, roses, daffodils, evergreens, birch trees. Humming and other colorful birds busy themselves at the feeders. Five minutes to public boat launch/beach, 15 minutes to Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort (open in summer also for mtn. biking,hiking,etc),15 minutes to Kalispell Airport, 30 minutes to Glacier National Park,scenic 2 hour drive to Missoula.
Walk or bike to golf course (open also in winter for cross country skiing), tennis courts, town. World class trout fishing all over...lakes and rivers abound. Float tubes/bikes available to the responsible renter.
Great restaurants, western bars (live music,slot machines,poker), shopping.Rent includes all utilities except cleaning fee. Security deposit required. Approved dogs o.k. with addl. security deposit. Sorry-absolutely NO CATS. NO SMOKING.Housekeeping service during your stay can be arranged at cost. More photos available upon request. We are originally from Wisconsin. Our parents worked/loved the Glacier Park area since the 1950's. We started coming out as a family in 2000 when my parents purchased this townhome. Living in Montana is coming back to our love of a nature-inspired life style.

The Unique Benefits of this Townhome
Our townhome is only 1 mile to downtown Whitefish so you can easily walk/ride a bike. The golf course is directly behind us so if you are a golfer you can walk up to the club house in just a few minutes. The road we are situated on is a dead end private drive beyond the cul-de-sac, so there is no traffic, and only 1 other town home. We never take for granted the incredible view of Whitefish Lake and Mountain and the Glacier range beyond.

Enjoyable Vacation in Whitefish

We found the condo to be nicely decorated, well furnished and comfortable, very clean, and the owner willing to accomodate our requests (adding WiFi, for example). The listing and pictures gave us an accurate description of the property. The location was ideal for exploring the area and enjoying all the summer activities. We especially liked hiking, horseback riding, and picnicing in Glacier National Park, only 40 minutes away. Whitewater rafting, Go-Karts, fishing, mountain biking, and many other hiking areas are all available nearby, which made our time with our grandchildren fun too. Be sure to try Moose Tracks ice cream! Whitefish is a charming, friendly town with good restaurants and shopping. Kalispell and Bigfork (good for summer theater) are nearby. It was very easy to comunicate with Lauren, the owner, before arriving in MT, and we enjoyed meeting her when she stopped by to check that we were happily settled in. It took a few days to become accustomed to the steady train traffic through Whitefish and chose to sleep with the windows closed at night. We would highly recommend this property for an enjoyable vacation and hope to return in the future.
