  We loved this apartment and very much hope that it will be available when we return to Paris. It is calm, with extra-high ceilings so the feeling of spaciousness is in 3 dimensions. The long windows look onto the well-tended and very quiet garden. Even though there are only 2 electric burners and a microwave oven, it was easy to cook wonderful, market fresh meals. Given my husband's dietary restrictions, this was perfect for us. There is a permanent outdoor market on Rue Mouffetard, and the Place Monge Market (a few minutes away) is our new favorite. We wound up cooking most meals at the apartment. Since we didn't come to Paris to watch television, I cannot comment on the TV, but the internet signal was strong. We needed to work using email and to plan the rest of our travel, so a good wifi connection was important to us. The complimentary telephone was very helpful as well. The apartment was clean and welcoming, the bathroom large for Paris with a wonderful tub, shower and hot water pressure. Henri was perfect to work with, responsive with excellent advice. Thank you Henri for a wonderful visit to Paris.

  Thank you Henri ! Your recommendation for dinner was amazing! Chez Lena & Mimile! We loved the apartment and found it to be exactly as described. The cold spell had hit Paris during our stay so it was lovely to come home from a day of sightseeing and shopping to the warmth of this lovely apartment! There is no shortage of lovely restaurants and affordable shopping in this neighbourhood! This is the second time I have rented one of the apartments offered through this landlord in Paris and would not hesitate to do so again! Enjoy! We certainly did! Alexandra, Niagara Falls, Canada

  We were very pleased to find that the apartment is exactly as shown in the photographs on the web-site. It is very well equipped, comfortable and stylish. The location is perfect for exploring Paris as most of the museums and monuments we wanted to visit are within walking distance and although the rue Mouffetard is a lively street of shops and restaurants the apartment is very quiet as it looks onto a pretty private courtyard.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

  the quality of place and building is unfortunately damaged by the poor maintenance and cleaning of the apartment. found 6 broken light bulbs, general cleanliness is very poor. the TV panel is simply ridiculous (low cost old computer screen), on top of the TV system not allowing to watch TNT channels (TF1, France2, Fr3..). the kitchen amenities are not maintained, refrigerator is very noisy (would be impossible to sleep in the living room), halogen heater is very inefficient (would need induction heater at minimum to be usable). the apartment atmosphere is cold and not relaxing, the comfort is very average, sofa is very uncomfortable. definitely too expensive for the experience. for that price range, you get a very good hotel room, so disappointment was quite high. finally, although check-in person was quite nice, I could not reach him later on during our stay to get help on TV reception and light deficiencies.

  Recommended for: Age 55+.

  Owner response: Obviously the light bulbs were changed immediately after this comment.The refridgerator has been regulated to be less noisy. Otherwise the apartment is well equipped and everything works well if one knows how to use it, no comment! The LG flat screen television offers approximately 250 channels including CNN,BBC, FOX News etc. and many others, which in general suffices for a visit to Paris.

  We had a wonderful time at Rue Mouffetard. The apartment was clean, had beautiful high ceilings, and everything else we would need for our stay. The neighborhood was really nice and we enjoyed walking around and visiting the shops, restaurants and markets. Henri was very helpful in giving us advice about our stay and answering all of our questions.

  Absolutely terrific. A great convenient location. A fun bustling street, yet an extremely quiet apartment. Wonderfuly comfortable, elegant and pleasant. I would definitely stay there again... and again.
