The best feature of this vacation rental property is its location. Our property is conveniently located in the heart of the Village at Bear Trap Dunes, minutes from Bethany Beach, DE. The pool, tennis courts, basketball court, clubhouse, pavillion and golf course are steps away from this rental unit. Although convenience is a key feature, so too is the quiet environment of the Bear Trap development.
The second best feature of this vacation rental property is that it is furnished and equipped to accomodate a large number of vacationers, with sleeping space for as many as 12 individuals. Briefly, the unit consists of three floors. The unit has been furnished with superior bedding and platinum grade appliances. Each room has a TV.
The upper floor, or second story, has two very large bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed, private bathroom, telephone, remote cable TV, internet hookup, ceiling fan and a balcony overlooking the lawn pavillion with summer live theater. The second bedroom on the second floor has two queen size beds, private bath, ceiling fan, and remote cable TV. Both rooms have reading chairs and a large walk-in closet.
The first floor is the main floor. The first floor has a large bedroom with a queen size bed, private bath, walk-in closet,ceiling fan, remote cable TV, telephone and large reading chair. The first floor also has a front hall full closet and a powder room along with four folding chairs and a card table for overflows at dinner.
The main living area, also on the first floor, is comprised of the kitchen, dining and living room. This area has a a large screen remote cable TV, DVD player, stereo, ceiling fan, telephone, sofa, love seat, coffee table, dining table for six, etc. The kitchen is fully equiped with modern appliances and dishwasher and is surrounded by an island bar and four stools.
The lower level is unique in the development. The English basement has a separate bedroom, laundry room, full bathroom and a large living space. The living space has a full-size pull out sleeper sofa, love seat, swivel chair, large screen remote cable TV, DVD, video game station, mini pool table and telephone. The basement separate bedroom is geared for kids and has a bunk bed [upper twin and lower full] and a twin trundle pull out bed. The bedroom has a remote cable TV. The basement also has a separate private bath and a separate laundry room with washing machine and dryer.
We offer an optional linen service for an additional fee, and that fee will be based on what it is actually costing us to provide the service. Currently, the cost for linens is $191.00, covering all beds, and towels for each bathroom.
The garage is a sanctuary or sorts. The garage is geared for older kids or adults looking to escape, complete with crate furniture, outdoor games and toys, and more. There is unlimited parking out back.
The unit also has a private patio adjacent to the main unit and the garage. The patio has a Weber grill and high standing chairs and table for outdoor entertaining or relaxing.
There is a separate optional guest fee imposed by the Village at Bear Trap Dunes for use of the membership facilities, basically the pools (indoor and outdoor), tennis courts, basketball court, health/exercise facility, plus the complimentary bus service to downtown Bethany Beach. These guest passes are optional. However, the facilities are superior and are well worth every cent, especially when you consider the effect of poor weather. The cost for a weekly guest pass is $35 per person, excluding children under the age of three. Passes can be purchased directly from the community on the day of your arrival.
This a great place to vacation.
