This charming home borders the fields of Nip 'n' Tuck Farm. Antique wood flooring, rustic Italian tiled floors, handcrafted doors, old beams. Breakfast at the kitchen counter, lunch on the screened-in porch, BBQ on the private deck and dine at a large antique oak table. Open, airy layout perfect for socializing. This is not your average rental property, it is a custom built house furnished with nice quality wood furniture. You won't believe this home is a rental. I have many return customers. Upstairs bedrooms have window seats that overlook the fields of Nip 'n' Tuck Farm. The house is sheltered from State Road by woods. Private backyard. 2 miles to beautiful Lambert's Cove Beach, beach pass available. Only 10 minutes from the ferry. Note:Our many guests find it hard 'not' to return. Come enjoy! Ferry tickets available for transfer.

Everything was as advertised. The house was ready and clean on our arrival. Central location to Lamberts Cove beach and shopping. Great home for families and the ping pong table is an added benefit for children of all ages.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

If I could own a house on the Vineyard, it would be this one. The photos are inviting but the house itself is even better than the photos! The cozy post and beam construction of the first floor opens to light and air overlooking trees and flowers. From one bedroom, you can watch the sun rise and from the others, you can watch it set. Thoughtful details such as built-in window seats and drawers add to the charm, as does the gorgeous, gleaming woodwork throughout the house. The location is well situated: it's a short drive to downtown Vineyard Haven, with a shorter bike ride or car ride to up-Island Cronig's or for a cup of coffee at Fella's. It's out of the melee while still having quick access for forgotten groceries or to pick people up from the ferry. We felt incredibly comfortable and relaxed here. We hope to return!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

It's a lovely house with creative woodwork and attention to detail . Our family enjoyed our stay and the wonderful meals together around the large oak table. . We had breakfast on the screened -in porch enjoying the serenity of West Tisbury and the beautiful Fall light. We couldn't see any of our neighbors but we were close enough to the main road to Vineyard Haven and the ferry. Lambert's Cove Beach, close by, was the best ,especially for young kids. This is a perfect vacation spot and is centrally located so the entire island is accessible.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We love spending our vacations in this property. In fact, four generations -- from my 96-year-old mother-in-law to my youngest granddaughter who is 4 -- love it. I believe we have stayed here for 10-15 years at least. A great house with all the amenities, backyard for kids and easy access to main roads. Our family rented this house in West Tisbury for a week in the summer of 2011. The house was lovely, well laid out and decorated with very good taste. It was very clean on our arrival and appropriately equipped. The location was very private and near enough stores for easy shopping. I would highly recommend this rental home.Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
