This rental was one of the top places we visited during our 6 week vacation. It is a beautiful 3 bedroomed home that is immaculately maintained and is decorated to a very high and modern standard throughout. The photographs and description of the property do not do it justice. The home is located outside of town so a car is a must - but a car is essential in Moab anyway to enjoy the many natural sights in relatively close proximity eg. Canyonlands and Arches National Parks, the LaSal mountains etc. For the adventurous there's biking, water activities like rafting, canoeing, off road 4 wheel driving, horse riding and more hiking than you can imaging.. For the more relaxing moments there's the outdoor sitting area and table to enjoy the evening and sunset and a pool not more than 100 yards away to chill out after an exhausting day or even to start the day off while it's still cool (well 80f). This is a home from home. We were very comfortable here and the children did not not want to leave. Moab offers just about every amenity you could want and the locals are very nice people to talk too and share experiences with. We welcome the opportunity to return and will no doubt be looking to the Blue Coyote Hide-Away to accommodate us once again.
Owner response:We love hearing comments like this and take every step possible to provide everyone with a rewarding experience. When we travel, we don't like being underwhelmed and try to make sure our listing is as accurate as possible. The guests like this enable us to continue to make our home available to others. We are always looking for ways to make your stay even more enjoyable, so please let us know any details we are missing. Thanks again for taking care of our place while you were there!

This condo can't be beat. It was spotless, well-appointed, and extremely comfortable for our party of three. The kitchen was stocked with a nice array of pots, pans, and silverware, and it had a gas stove. There's a pool and a hot tub across the street. It's located about a five-minute drive from the center of Moab, and it's very quiet at night. You absolutely cannot go wrong with this rental.

My family of 5 (incl 3 boys) spent 3 nights here in mid July 2011. After a week of cramped quarters in suite hotels, it was terrific to stretch out in this beautiful townhouse. Moab is an outdoors town, and we actually spent very little time at the house. But, it was so comfortable to return each evening, and it allowed everyone some 'alone' time, even when spent in the same room. Despite the ample space, I wouldn't recommend it for multiple couples, because people will be insanely jealous of whoever scores the master bedroom. One other comment: watch your speed on the road leading to the neighborhood. Other than that, thank you for opening up your AAA-rated home.

We had a terrific time at your beautiful condo. Everything was perfect and was as advertised-and more. It was so nice to have a place like that to come home to at the end of a hot day in the parks--vey comfortable. We had everything we needed. I especailly like the thoughtful things like making backpacks available and having a City Market club card on the key chain. Both were very helpful!. We played games and BBQ'd in the evenings and really enjoyed the pool in the late afternoons. We would difinitely love to stay there again sometime and hope to be able to recomend it to friends. It is fun to see the pictures on this web site again and reminisce about our fun time.

Ok so we just returned from our 4th year staying at the Blue Coyote and what can I say but WONDERFUL again. I see people comment about it being a home away from home and for us it truly is. Each time I arrive it really does feel more like home. This year was the 50th birthday for one of our group and last fall she said all she wanted was to go back to the Blue Coyote (this was her 2nd time). We rode ATV's for 4 wonderful days, had our Wii bowling tournament and the little morning rain we had one day wasn't a problem because we were in our home. Life is always good at the Blue Coyote and I just can't imagine us staying anywhere else.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a quiet, cozy place to spend over New Year's and this was the perfect place. We have always enjoyed Moab in the winter time and your condo was the perfect place to stay to enjoy. The condo was so cozy, we didn't mind staying in all day when it snowed all day and we were grateful to have a garage to park our car in. Thanks so much for sharing your condo, we will definitely be back!!

This condo was a great place for me, my husband and our best friends from Ohio to stay while enjoying our daughter's Halloween weekend wedding. The photos and descriptions are 100% accurate. It was so nice to have a home away from home instead of staying in a hotel. Highly recommend!

The Ladder House

We absolutely loved the Ladder House. It was new, very spacious and perfectly decorated. This condo had everything we needed and then some and was only a few minutes to downtown Moab for shopping, and the parks etc. The master bedroom was huge with a huge closet with lots of shelving and a large walk-in shower. The laundry room had a walk-in closet that had backpacks to use, along with other things one may need during their stay. We were very impressed with the thought and care by the owner that went into this place so that the renters would be comfortable. We were there for six nights: we cooked in every night and ate dinner out on the patio whenever we could. The view was spectacular. There is also a gas grill on the patio. This place definitely makes you feel at home. The beds were comfortable and the towels large and soft. We hiked all day in Arches and Canyonlands National Parks (Island in the Sky and The Needles) and kayaked the Colorodo River one day, so we were exhausted by the time we got back to the condo every evening, therefore didn't enjoy the outside amenities, i.e., tennis, pool, etc. but it was a great place to come back too together and just relax on the patio with a glass of wine and talk of the great day we had exploring the canyons. The place was perfect as is, but if I could make one tiny suggestion, it would be to have a small chair or bench in the laundry room to sit and take off hiking boots before entering the carpeted area. We left our packs and boots in the laundry room but it was tuff getting them on and off while standing. If you are coming to Moab to hike, I would highly recommend these trails: In Arches- The Devil's Garden Trail which brings you to several beautiful arches....The trail to the Delicate Arch....so worth it to be able to be up close and stand under it...and of course, make reservations EARLY before you go for the "Fiery Furnace" ranger led tour. The afternoon one is best because the sun casts a red glow on the rocks when it's setting. This is a technical hike over rocks and things, but all ages can do it. You MUST make reservations and they fill up fast. The Park Avenue short 1 mile hike had lots of cool rock formations to see. The Island in the Sky White Rim Trail at Canyonlands had great views if you're not afraid of heights.A wonderful trip! I would highly recommend this condo to anyone. Thanks Vanessa & Sam for the care you put into this place! Donna & Dave H
Owner response:We are so glad that you had such a wonderful time. I'd also like to thank you for your recommendation on having a stool/bench in the laundry room. The next time you come back you will see that we took your recommendation seriously. These little comments are why the condo is furnished the way it is. The people before you have provided us their wishes and we've granted them. Thank you again and we look forward to having you back.

This was our second stay in this fantastic home. It was every bit as good as our first and instantly felt like "home from home". The condo is beautifully furnished with top quality everything and the most comfortable beds - ever!! Also we particularly appreciated that the swimming pool is just across the road - great after a hike. Highlights of our stay this time were an amazing hike to Delicate Arch at sunset, a ranger hike in the Fiery Furnace and white water rafting. There is so much to do in Moab that, as before, we will return again in the future. Vanessa is a brilliant host and made everything easy for us booking from the UK. As she says in the title "You won't be disappointed" - from our experiences, you certainly won't be! Great home, great location, great owner and a great destination for a vacation
Owner response:We really appreciate hearing that people had a great time in Moab while staying with us. The only thing we appreciate more is people that know how to take care of our home while they are there...thank you Mark, Ruth, and Lois for treating our home as your own. You are welcome back anytime! Vanessa
