This was a great apartment, very clean, organized, and well equipped (we had everything we needed), washer and drier worked fine. The shower was clean and spacious. I loved the modern look and high end touches and decoration. It was super convenient to have free wireless internet access and free phone calls within France and to the USA. Both the main bed and the sleeper sofa were super comfortable; I used them both. It was a total of 4 people in the apartment and the space was just fine for all of us. The location was convenient but did not love it only because I would've liked it to be closer to the main streets or attractions; however, if I had to stay there again, I would definitely do it. Thank you for such a great service and value! I will use rentparis again. No hotels for us! Kelly, Miami, FL

RentParis was so great to work with during our 12 day in Paris. Due to the Iceland Volcano that disrupted European air travel for almost a week, we stayed in 2 RentParis apartments. We stayed at this apartment for 3 nights. It was very clean, well equipped and quite comfortable. We had our 2 kids sleep on the sofa bed, which really is like a real bed. The apartment is somewhat small, but so well organized that its size wasn't an issue. The washer/dryer worked really well and the shower was luxurious. We loved staying in the Marais; it was convenient, but not too touristy. Especially compared to a hotel room(s), this apartment was a real value. And, given the unpredictable travel situation we were in, we truly appreciated RENTPARIS' flexibility, helpfulness and hospitality.

We looked at so many apartments online and are very happy we chose 35 Rue de Montmorency. What a great find! The rep who greeted us was very helpful; got wi-fi hooked up to my laptop; showed us how everything worked. The sofa bed was perfect for our 2 daughters ages 8 and 10 (and very comfortable); the bedroom was very nice and quiet (though the pigeons showed up every AM outside our window like clockwork - perhaps an anti-pigeon device could be put on the window sill). The apartment is well appointed, comfortable, modern and chic.A few minor things need tightening and repairing (a screw here, a lightbulb there) but nothing major. We easily walked to the central attractions and loved the 2 close-by metro lines and interesting neighborhoods to explore for dining and shopping.

Sexy and modern clean apartment with all the desired equipment (who wants to watch tv when in Paris?). Representative friendly and helpful. In close proximitly to lot of tourist attractions. The bycicle hiring system worked fantastically for us - never even used the metro. Do try that. Will definitely recommend this apartment.

We loved the apartment. It was very well appointed, comfortable and most importantly, quiet at night. We stayed with our two year old daughter and she loved it as much as we did. The 4th floor walk up was a little tough with stroller, groceries and kid, but totally do-able just be prepared. The location is great - not directly in the louder, lively part of the Marais, but close enough to walk to with ease, and we loved the quiet street at night. We would certainly recommend the apartment to friends and hope to be able to rent it again soon. We loved the flexibility and comfort of the apartment, and especially appreciated the very helpful team at RentParis. They were very professional and timely. They made sure we had a crib for our daughter, and helped us navigate with taxis and had recommendations for bakeries and restaurants. They were great. We would not hesitate to book with them again.

A real cosy and very central appartment in Marais. The boulangerie infront of the house is perfect too;-)Althought the appartment is in the middle of Paris, close to all the touristic parts of the city and in the maybe most noisiest area in whole Paris, it is very quiet and perfect for a stay.Everybody who knows the Marais, knows about the loudness during the night...if you don´t like to be part of the party people and normally sleeping during the night, you will be lucky..cause you can do in this appartment. The equipment of the flat is very nice...and comfortable. You got everything you need. I will note this appartment for my next stay...surely coming back.

The apartment is in such a great location. Being on the #4 Metro line was very conveinient as we arrived and left through the Gare du Nord train station and we could easily get to any place we wanted in the city. We were able to easily walk to most of the big attractions and see so much of the city. The apartment is very clean and well appointed. Although it can be a little snug for 4 adults it was well worth the price. We would not hesitate to return here again with 2 or 4 people. Wendy Denver, Colorado, USA

The apartment was in a great location and very well furnished as well. The representative was friendly. I and my family spent 10 incredible days there. We'd stay there again for sure! Just one negative : We miss our wel-come bottle of wine.
Owner response:Yes, but you had a nice discount ;-)

Today, January 10th, 2009 we changed the sofa bed in this apartment. New and incredible sofa bed system, like a real bed with a real mattress. Now this apartment can accommodated 4 guests.

The apartment was great and modern in decoration. The location is superb and practical for both first time Paris visitors and those already familiar with the city. The representative was very friendly and helpful and made our first impression very warm. My only negative is the difficult tv set up. They need to supply a laminate as when you first arrive you are not in the right frame of mind for a demo on tv tuning etc. Overall a great secret location and would book again!

The apartment location was great. Easy walking to almost everywhere. The welcome person was great. The only bad thing was the pullout sofa. It should be replaced. The only way it was useful was to remove the mattress and place it right on the floor. We enjoyed our stay after a very unrestful first night.

We booked very last minute (actually it was the morning we arrived!), so were incredibly pleased and impressed to find everything went so smoothly. The person showed us around was very friendly and helpful, and the apartment itself was just as in the pictures; clean, well furnished but also warm and welcoming. Absolutely perfect location for us as a family. We barely used the metro as you could walk easily to most places. We'd definitely stay there again. Julie, Nat & Thomas

We found the location of this apartment to be absolutely perfect, within easy walking distance to the Jewish Quarter, Les Halles, and Notre Dame. The proximity of boulangeries and grocery stores made it easy to enjoy breakfast at home each day before heading out, and if you are into exercise, there is an inexpensive municipal gym/pool only two or three blocks away (though it's more fun to run along the Seine or through the Tuileries, both of which are pretty nearby). The apartment was spacious enough for three adults to live comfortably (but be aware that, if you are planning to stay there with two couples, you'd better all be pretty comfortable with each other because the shower's off the main bedroom while the teensy bathroom is off the kitchen--ergo, little privacy), and we particularly enjoyed the set-up of the living room so that we could hang out together while watching TV, using the internet, and making snacks in the kitchen. Had a little trouble getting to understand the washing machine, and on remembering how to reset the cable when it went out (disconnect power from bedroom cable box, give it a minute, then plug back in--that usually did it), but everything worked as it should've. Jean-Pierre was super-friendly and passed on some recommendations of cafes and restaurants, and though it would've been great if the agency had been able to send their representative to the place before noon (our flight arrived at 7:45 a.m.), we were at least able to spend out extra time hanging out with out luggage in the Velocipede Cafe a few blocks away. We wouldn't hesitate to re-rent this cute little apartment next time we're in Paris, or to recommend it to others!
Owner response::-) Our team welcome people from noon to midnight and some guests would like to stay until noon.

We loved staying here. We thought this was a quality apartment and a great location. We had 3 adults and although the third adult said the sofa bed was uncomfortable, you could not beat the facilities! The whole process of being let into the apartment was really easy too! Thanks so much!

We just returned from 5 days in Paris at this apartment and want to echo others in this guestbook. The location is superb. We bought pastries, bread and desserts at the boulangerie across the street at least twice or three times per day. The Metro is close, and walking to major sights such as Notre Dame, the Place des Vosges, and the Picasso Museum was easy. The apartment is impeccable and updated and looks just like the pictures on the website (how nice, for a change!). The sofa bed was "ok" and the stairs were the a bit of a challenge for my older parents, but the savings we gained by having breakfast and dinner at the apt. was terrific! We highly recommend this choice!

In the past, I've had problems renting apartments online where the pictures make a place look bigger and better than the actual space. I was pleasantly surprised that 35 Rue de Montmorency was as nice in person as in the pictures online. The view from the bedroom window is adorable and I couldn't wait to wake up each morning to stare outside for a little while. Then, its out the door to get a fresh baguette from the neighborhood boulangerie, located literally across the street. Charming!

This is our second year with Rent Paris and we will certainly be back next year for a third. I admit I was a bit aprehensive about renting an apartment but now I will never stay in a hotel in Paris again. Important to note that the staff goes out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. Thanks and see you next year.

This was our second stay in this appartment, and we will surely rent it again whenever we come back to Paris. The appartment is comfortable, well equipped, bright, quiet and clean. Your representative is friendly and helpful, "un jeune homme très sympathique". Location could not be better - steps away from the Métro, shops and museums. Who could ask for more? We have already recommended it to friends. À la prochaine!

The apartment was amazing--modern but still quaint and comfortable. It had all the ammenities of home, and everything was very new. The location was very convenient for a good many of the popular sites, and very close to the metro for those sites a bit further away. I would definitely rent this apartment again without hesitation!

The condition of this apartment is prestine; very clean and modern. Closest metro stop is 2 small blocks away and a multi-line bus station around the corner. Located on a quiet street in a save neighborhood, no problem with noise. You do have to hike up 3 flights of narrow stairs, good workout! For Harry Potter fans, the restaurant Auberge Nicolas Flamel (#51, few doors down) is historic and the food is quite good.
