Villa en Paraiso is a recently completed hillside villa overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The villa is just 300 feet from the ocean and right around the corner from the well known eco-resort, Costa Azul in the charming fishing village of San Pancho. San Pancho is a friendly village about 35 minutes north of the Puerto Vallarta Airport.
Villa en Paraiso is over 4000 square feet of classic Mexican architecture. Upstairs there are three generous, air-conditioned, bedroom suites with private baths. Two bedrooms have balconies with a view of the Pacific Ocean. Downstairs is a fully-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, dining room, and a spacious living area with entertainment center including satellite TV, CD/DVD player, phone/fax, and high speed internet connection. All rooms are air-conditioned.
The living area opens to a wrap around covered terrace overlooking the pool area and ocean. From there, step down to the pool area with a large 12 foot by 24 foot pool with jacuzzi. A custom gas grill complete with mini fridge is a great place for grilling the local seafood. In the evenings, watch the sun slowly sink into the Pacific Ocean.
For extra privacy, the air-conditioned casita has it's own entrance from the outside as well as the pool area. The casita has one large bedroom with private bath, a well equipped kitchen, dining/living area, and terrace with wonderful ocean views.
Our staff of Baldo, Nemo and Judy will make your stay a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Our chef can prepare incredible meals upon request. This a very special, beautifully decorated mexican hacienda. It is a combination of old world Mexican charm and modern amenities in one of the world's most beautiful settings. Children are welcome and it is a wonderful place for unforgettable family vacations, get-aways for couples, or corporate retreat.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa en Paraiso! The pool was so nice and the grandchildren loved it. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well appointed and the view was to die for. The house is lovely and comfortable. However, if you have mobility issues, this isn't the house for you. I was traveling with a group of senior citizens who have assorted health issues. Walking and climbing stairs is difficult for them. To get into the house, you have a very steep cobblestone driveway to walk, then stairs to climb, about 2 floors worth, just to get to the living quarters. Due to the difficulty of getting in and out of the house, the group didn't do very much sightseeing. We didn't have a car. This house is about a 20 minute walk into downtown San Pancho. Taxi is available, but it's not always prompt. Although the view from the house is marvelous, I felt isolated.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.
Owner response: I suppose it depends upon your individual mobility. My parents are 75 years old, just left the house a week ago and do just fine. Certainly had we known that members of the group are not able to climb stairs, we would have advised that perhaps this was not the property for them.

What a fantastic week. It was all we had hoped for and more. The villa and casita were perfect for our family. Virtually everything was flawless, from the pick up at the airport by Daniel at Diva Tours, the wonderful mexican meal put on by Nemo and Elizabeth, the pool, the weather. San Pancho, a delightful town. All of our kids made it down and it was a spectacular family gathering. The villa is so well laid out for a crowd, the casita was perfect for the young family with babe. Our older grandkids loved the pool. The dads we able to muster up a few waves one day in San Pancho. I just wanted to let you know we had a fabulous week in San Pancho! What a beautiful peaceful town and what an amazing house! I hope to go back someday. Thanks for all the info and advise. Just wanted to let you know that we had a great time and the house, the location, everything, was perfect. Laura met us at the plane and took our luggage to the villa. They were very gracious. The villa is beautiful and spacious. The pool was enjoyed by everyone. The covered terrace worked well when we had enough sun. The view of the ocean and accessibility to the ocean was great.
