Karl and Penny must be complimented. This unit is very well maintained, updated, exceptionally clean, and what a view! The staff at the Imperial was very welcoming and helpful. I would recommend this rental and our entire experience in dealing with Karl to the most discriminating client. Our experience could not have been better.

My husband, 1 year old son & I stayed in this condo for 2 weeks in August 2011.What a place, fabulous location, fantastic apartment, great facilities and last but certainly not least is the superb, glorious and devine view.Every day I would read my book on the lanai, gazing at the beautiful blue ocean.Thank you Karl & Penny for maintaining such a excellent condo at an amazingly affordable price.We will definately be back.

The location of this property in Waikiki is absolutely excellent...you can easily walk (stroll) everywhere you want to go whether its the park, beach, shopping or dining. The views from both the condo and the owner's lounge on the 26th floor really are spectacular. The condo is very clean, the amenities are many and the staff are very friendly. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and would definitely stay again.

Mahalo for your beautiful and peaceful home in Paradise. We enjoyed our trip to Waikiki in February and the best part was staying in your condo. The pictures say it all and the view is always fantastic-what a jooy to wake up to surfers and the ocean. We have stayed in numerous places in Waikiki over the years and will try you first upon our return as we only want to stay in your unit. The staff was always helpful and made you feel welcome (the aloha spirit). I really enjoyed the two bathrooms even thou it was just the two of us-bed perfect and plenty of room throughout the unit. We did not hear any noise from the neighbors-unit is very quiet. Thank you again for sharing your home. R & MA

This property is everything it advertises and more, we stayed early November 2009! Pictures are accurate, the views are priceless. So much to see within easy walking distance, pink line bus to the mall picks up right outside. The condo itself was immaculate and well furnished; the check in/front desk staff were so easy to deal with-they helped arrange one tour and our return to the airport. We would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed in Karl and Penny's condo this past July and had a wonderful time from start to finish. The accomodations were very clean comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, close to the beach, shopping and some of the best restaraunts in Wakiki. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Next time we go to Hawaii I would definately love to stay there.

This was my third time staying in this condo. Once with my husband, once with my friend, and now this third time with my daughter. I have never been disappointed and am happy to recommend it to anyone who asks. The view is spectacular and the unit is super clean!! Everything you need is there, including chairs to take down to the beach. The unit is close to everything you need. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby, and of course-no lack of ABC Stores. The staff at the Imperial are excellent as well - they are very helpful. It is so nice to be so close to the beach at such reasonable rates. Thank you again, Karl and Penny for allowing us to stay in your condo.

Karl and Penny We have stayed in your condo twice now on on our vacations to Hawaii. Your room with view is just breath taking! We recently spent six nights at this Waikiki condo (Sept. 08). This was our first VRBO experience and won't be our last. Everything went smoothly from beginning to end. The condo was exactly as represented....actually better. The location was perfect for access to the beach, groceries, and a variety of restaurants and shopping. We never tired of just looking out at the ocean and the surfers. The staff was very helpful. We made it to Pearl Harbor and climbed to the top of Diamond Head. Next time I think we'll rent a car to leisurely see the rest of the island (we took an all day tour that covered a lot but left not enough time to explore). The condo was perfect for two! Thanks again.

Hello, This is a long overdue note to say how much we enjoyed staying in this wonderful condo. Our stay was in July 2007. Our daughter and her husband just stayed in another unit that the owners have and it reminded me that I needed to share how great this place is! The owners have done a great job of keeping this home very comfortable, charming and contemporary. My wife and I can't think of a thing that we would change - that's how great this home is. The rental process is very easy and the owner is incredibly prompt in answering any questions that you may have. We so highly reccommend this owner and the units that they have that I would be happy to call anyone that would like to have a first hand conversation about the great experience. This was our first trip to Hawaii. My husband and I originally were going to stay in Kailua but decided to stay in Waikiki instead. We definatley made the right choice and this condo was PERFECT. Location, location, location! It's close to the beach, dining and entertainment. We're in our mid to late 20s so it was very convenient for the late night trips back from the bars. Also, the view from the lanai was beautiful. We felt at home because the condo was very cozy and clean. I would recommend this condo to all my friends and family. If you're looking for a great Waikiki experience with a comfortable place to stay, then this is the condo for you! It exceeded my expectations.

We stayed in Karl's lovely condo for 10 days in December, 2007. We had a great time in Waikiki and we were completely satisfied with the condo. It really enhanced our Hawaiian vacation. It's central location and proximity to restaurants and beach was perfect. It is a well maintained unit and the view of the ocean is beautiful. We will definitely be back again, on our next visit to Waikiki.

We stayed in this condo for the first leg of our honeymoon. This was the first trip to Hawaii for my husband and boy did this condo sell him on Hawaii. The place was clean and had all the necessities to feel like we were home. The best part was the fresh flowers on the table and the Hawaiian music playing on the CD player when we walked in. We felt like we walked into paradise. The sunsets on the lanai were AMAZING. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful (especially when our car got broken into). We will definately be back. Our first trip to Hawaii. We stayed a week in this condo, then 3 days in Maui. This location was great, easy walking distance to all of Waikiki. The view was excellent. Beach 3-4 minute walk from lobby. Valet parking and elevators were very efficient, no more than a 2-3 minute wait for either one. Exactly as advertised.

We stayed in the condo for three nights. It was very enjoyable and convenient. The unit is so cute and especially nice because it has two bathrooms. We went to the zoo for something different and had so much fun. They have such great animals and birds there. Enjoy!

While in town for the Honolulu marathon recently, my husband and I stayed at Karl & Penny's condo. What a great location! The unit was extremely clean, well-stocked with reading material, maps, etc., and the VIEW was terrific! It was nice having 2 bathrooms and a rather large lanai for watching sunsets. We'll be back!

My husband and I stayed at Karl and Penny's condo for our honeymoon and had an absolutely amazing time! The view is spectacular. We were able to watch some absolutley gorgeous sunsets. My fiance and I rented this condo from 8/16/2006-8/18/2006 with just the pictures from the website to go on. This was my first visit to Hawaii so my accomodation were of the utmost importance. When we arrive we were pleasantly surprised the view was spectacular. You had a great view of Waikiki beach and the Pacific ocean from the balcony and a slight mountain view from the bedroom window. The condo was kept up in excellent condition and the amenities were superb. The location was very convenient only a few minutes walk from Waikiki Beach and also a few minutes from all the shops and restaurants that lined Kalakaua Avenue. The only downfall that I came across was that the bathtub in one of the bathrooms was very small, only room for one and I mean just one. But other than that the condominium was excellent. I would recommend this rental to anyone going to Oahu. I can't wait to go back, Aloha.

We rented this condo for a week mid April. The view was fabulous, the accommodation was beyond expectations. We sat out on the lanai on Friday night to view the fireworks, which were spectacular. Would not hesitate to rebook. Great place!!

We've just returned from a 2-week stay in the Waikiki condo. We had a great time. The accomodation is wonderful. Everything we needed was there. The unit was clean (spotless), shopping and everything we needed was close by, the beach was just a few steps away, the staff at the Imperial are great and don't forget to buy your fruit at Henry's Market downstairs. Oh, and the view was amazing. Would love to go again - actually, I'd love to be there now!

The condo was absolutely beautiful!! You couldn't ask for a better view. Everything is conveniently located, including shopping and restaurants. The surfers are out there every morning before you wake up. We almost didn't feel the need to leave the condo!! If we ever go back to Hawaii, there would be no doubt that we would stay here again. Very convenient to the beach, shopping, etc. If you want to go further, we found the bus very convenient and inexpensive (drivers were very friendly and helpful as was the hotel staff). Howzit !!! (Pidgin for aloha) Traveling to Honolulu on business often last year and usually staying at Waikiki hotels... I can honestly say that my last trip with the family and staying in this wonderful condo was: - "good fun, bruddah" -"beddah den da two finga poi" -"like the guava ice shave with da big manapua" Tanks eh !? My wife and I stayed at this condo for four weeks during January/February 2002. We very much enjoyed our visit. Our requirements were: - to have an ocean view from the condo - close proximity to Waikiki Beach - comfort and convenience in the unit. These expectations were fully met and more, the condo owners and hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. The location of the property and the newly renovated quality features of the unit provide value and justify a return visit.
