Sit on the deck and enjoy spectacular sunsets over beautiful Lake Tahoe. This condo is conveniently located within walking distance of the slopes of Heavenly Valley, Nevada and affords a nice view of the slopes served by the Boulder Lift.
Heavenly Valley is but one of over 20 ski resorts within a one hour drive. It has a full service lodge offering lessons, rentals, food, and beverages - all within two blocks of the condo.
Even in dry weather, snow is great because of the extensive snowmaking capabilities on Heavenly. The trails connect with slopes on the California side to provide a truly Heavenly ski experience.
This fully furnished condo was recently refurbished with new carpet, tile, and paint. The condo is decorated in a comfortable, attractive, mountain decor. The kitchen was totally renovated in early 2004 with new cabinets, tile floors and counters and new appliances. Vaulted ceilings and lots of windows make the unit bright and cheery.
There is a large fireplace in the living room and two TVs/ VCRs and CD Player for a comfortable evening in. Or take the shuttle or drive to the casinos just ten minutes away for an evening of entertainment. Pets are NOT allowed, No Smoking.
The full kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, microwave, disposal, dishwasher, and full-size range. All dishes, cooking utensils, and linens are provided as well as a washer and dryer.
The resort includes a pool and outdoor hot tub. A shuttle runs frequently to the pool/hot tub complex, ski slopes, and the casinos.
Lake Tahoe is well known for skiing and as a winter destination, but there is just as much to do summer, winter, and fall. Several world class golf courses are located here and the area boasts enough hiking trails to keep the most avid hikers busy including challenging Mt. Tallac, and the spectacular Desolation Wilderness as well as the nearly completed 150 mile Tahoe Rim Trail circling Lake Tahoe.
Other summer activities include swimming, parasailing, hot air balloon rides, and mountain biking. We're only two hours from the soaring granite cliffs and beautiful waterfalls of Yosemite National Park. Lake Tahoe is located one hour, via a four lane highway, from Reno, Nevada and four hours from San Francisco. |
