About the owner: My husband and I live in Montclair, NJ with our two children and we go down to SL as much as we can. We bought this house when our kids were 3 and 4. We used to pull them to the beach in a little green wagon. Now that they are 10 and 11 we all bike to the beach. It's a perfect little seaside town. It's safe, friendly, and beautiful.
Why the Owner Chose Spring Lake:
My grandmother used to rent a house in SL every summer and I have fond memories of those times with my family. As it turns out I met my husband down at the shore. While neither of us lived nearby, we both happened to be there for the weekend and went on our first date at the Breakers in 1995. In 2005, married with two small children, we were looking to buy a beach house down at the shore. We looked at dozens of houses in other beach towns. We finally found ourselves strolling down Third Ave in SL after lunch one day and looked at the listings on the windows of a real estate agency. By the next day we were the proud owner of 502 Ludlow Ave. One of the best decisions we've made!
