Our low summer rates make your vacation possible! Located in the heart of town, on bustling Main Street, the most convenient location. Walk to everything in town, including the lifts, the summer concert tent, and all of Main Street's shops and attractions. Great mountain views from the front room and the deck. This condo is on the second floor, accessible by two flights of stairs. It is not wheelchair accessible, or suitable for those who cannot climb stairs. (There are two flights, or about 16 steps.)
Sleeps eight, with a king bed in one bedroom, two queen beds in the second bedroom, and a queen sofa sleeper in the front room. The living room furniture is new as of October 2010, and includes an upgraded sofa sleeper mattress. All linens and towels are provided.
Enjoy the gas fireplace on a cool evening. Watch TV on a 32 inch flat screen. A DVD player is provided. Free high speed internet provided.
One full bathroom, and an additional sink/vanity in the hall. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and everything you need for basic cooking. Enjoy two large community hot tubs with mountain views.
This building has saunas, men's and women's bathrooms with showers, and a meeting room in the basement. The grounds are well kept, and summer visitors will see the gardens in bloom.
Shopping, grocery, restaurants, liquor, post office, ski/bike rental, just outside your door. Walk one block to the lifts. Just cross the street and behind the shops is the scenic Blue River walkway and bike path.
We are pet friendly to well behaved dogs. There is a fenced dog park nearby, at Carter Park, and generally Breckenridge is very dog friendly town.
You can shuttle from the airport to this unit, and enjoy skiing and town, without needing a car. The town and county also have fantastic shuttle systems to get you around Breckenridge, or to other ski areas. The sledding hill and skating rink are within walking distance. We have so many guests return to enjoy Breckenridge from this great location.
Shop the many stores on Main St., Frisco, and the Outlet Mall in Silverthorne. Gambling is an hour away in Central City, and Blackhawk.
Breckenridge offers hiking, biking, boating on Lake Dillon, historical walks/tours, wildlife and history lectures, museums, galleries, visiting artists, theater, and more. Frisco has a tubing hill, and a bike park right along Highway 9, you can see it as you come into town. Breckenridge has a sledding hill, located at Carter Park, right next to the fenced dog park.
Pamper yourself at a spa, or use the excellent recreation center. Then, pick from one of the many dining establishments for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Listen to music and dance at nightclubs, again all within walking distance.
Enjoy the many festivals celebrated with community events, parades, contests, and a lot of good food! Most events, festivals, and parades happen on Main St., and this condo is ON Main St.
Breckenridge has upgraded the streets for bicycles, with bike lanes/routes, and hosts bicycling events. Often the town of Breckenridge is a stopping point for a big race, or charity event. Breckenridge was a stopping point on the 2011 and 2012 “Tour of Colorado.” The International Snow Sculpture event is magical, both watching the process, and the final product.

My family, two dogs, and I drove in from Texas over Spring Break and we really enjoyed our stay. It was just enough room for the 4 of us and the dogs. Great location! Walking distance to eveything you would need. Once we parked the truck we didn't need it again until we left. The dog park being close was a plus also! The owners were very helpful when we booked. The pictures are more than accurate. The view from the front is absolutely gorgeous! Our only trouble was the parking. We were in a large truck (not 4wheel drive) which made parking difficult with all the snow and ice. So if planning to drive in and you don't have 4 wheel drive my suggestion would be to rent one that does! Otherwise we had a great time and would definitely stay again!Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

Excellent location within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, and skiing. Pet friendly! Only negative is that wifi cannot support multiple users at one time. We had our kids on their iPod touches, which made it impossible for the adults to work on laptops.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with young children, tourists without a car.

Very clean unit on Main St, across from Peak 9 base area. All pictures accurate and the owners were very easy to deal with. We have stayed in this complex before and the location is very convenient. You are with Empire Burger and Breckenridge Brewery almost next door. Easy walk across the street to the base area.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

We recently spent three nights here and enjoyed the place thoroughly. It's in a great location, right on Main Street, within walking distance to numerous options for eating and shopping. We watched the sun set over the mountains from the balcony. For our next visit to Breck we'll probably splurge on a more upscale rental, but this condo is a great deal and highly recommended - I'm sure we'll stay there again.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with young children, tourists without a car.

Simple little place that accommodated even our large group (8) fairly comfortably. It's just right for us. It isn't the spacious, fancy amenities place that you can find at some places in Breck. The price was awesome and having bars, shops, grocery, and lifts within a 5 minute walk... can't beat that location. You don't need a car once you get there. Owners are nice and acommodating. Check-in/check-out was very simple.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, tourists without a car.

We really enjoyed this condo on our most recent stay in Breckenridge. It was incredibly affordable, was in a great location and had all of the things we needed to have a great time in Breck. The only drawbacks to the condo were: some kitchen utensils were lacking and it took a long time to heat up. Otherwise it was perfect for us.Did you find this review helpful? The condo was neat, had a wonderful view and you are right down town. You can walk most anywhere which was great. The sofa sleeper is the most comfortable one we have ever slept on - very nice! Loved that we could bring our furry friends with us, the two hots tubs were great for a soak and the price was great! Randy was nice and easy to work with. I would reccomend checking to see if there are basics, such as coffee, filters, tea, sugar and such, as there was none there. Thanks for letting us stay at your condo, it was a great get away!Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

We were thrilled when we pulled up to the Tannhauser condos in Breckenridge: it's RIGHT on Main Street and we only drove our car once the whole weekend when we drove up to check out the lifts and gondolas and to find a hike. SO many restaurants and shops to choose from, we definitely want to go back. My only complaint was even though the rental is dog-friendly, and we expect a certain amount of pet wear, the amount of dog hair was CRAZY!! I think maybe the vacuum wasn't working very well or maybe the cleaning service had forgotten to vacuum or dust before we got there, but we have twin crawlers and were picking so much dog hair out of their mouths (and ours!) the whole time. We didn't end up bringing our dog, so next time we'll rent a non-pet-friendly unit. Other than that, the kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable and we couldn't have asked for anything more for our little family. Breckenridge was a blast and we'll definitely be back!!Recommended for: Pet owners.
Owner response: We are sorry you found dog hair on the carpeting. It does surprise us, because when we cleaned we were on the floor and did not find any dog hair on our clothing. Also, in 28 years we have never had this complaint. We will check that the vacume cleaner is functioning properly, and have scheduled a thorough carpet cleaning. Thank you for your positive comments about our condo, we appreciate it, and are working to rectify this issue. Randy and Ellen

Location
Owner info
Year Purchased: 1993
About the owner: We met in 1977 in Aspen. It was always our dream to have a place in the mountains to go skiing. Turns out, it's the Breckenridge summers we really love. We are in our 60's now (can you believe I admitted that?), and we no longer downhill, but cross country ski and snowshoe when we can get away from our condo business, taking along our beloved Golden Retriever 'Buddy'. Ellen is a retired teacher, and Randy is a retired masonry contractor. We own two Breckenridge condos, and they keep us busy. We manage our own properties, and you will only deal with us.
Why the Owner Chose Tannhauser:
Main Street was our interest in this condo. We really loved this location, in the heart of town, with no car needed. We also liked that the building is 'dog friendly'. Besides these assets, we couldn't stop looking at the stunning views. It's great to walk out the door and be on Main St., where so many of the festivals are located. Walk to the lifts, and everywhere.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The in town and on Main St. location allows you to walk out your door and explore everything Breckenridge has to offer.
