SEARCHING FOR THAT SPECIAL WATERFRONT CAPE COD HOME WITH MAGNIFICENT BAY VIEWS, GLORIOUS SUNSETS, AND WONDERFUL SANDY BEACH???
Look NO further, for this is the place to escape from all your worries, stresses, work, and other hectic life problems. You can take a swim from your own beach, relax in your hammock with a good book and wine, or in your own screened-in porch. Perhaps you would prefer chilling out on the beautiful deck with its arbor and enjoy the many fragrances from the well-maintained flower gardens and soft sea breezes.
It is ALL here for your enjoyment and relaxation! My 3-bedroom Bay-front home will comfortably accommodate a family of six. But it's also perfect for three couples traveling together, or as a romantic and extra-spacious getaway for two. Since this is now my full time year around home, I will have to ask you to "cool" the parties...even the neighbors will appreciate that:):)
This cozy home was completely rebuilt in 1994 and includes all the updated amenities while still maintaining old Cape Cod charm and tradition. The home has been updated even further in 2008-09 and 2010-11 with a fresh coat of paint, new blinds, build-ins, updating the two bathrooms and adding tile floors, new carpets in two of the three bedrooms, all red oak wood floors downstairs and in the upstairs hall, added a new "Mudroom" between the house and garage and a brand new kitchen with all new appliances and all new outdoor "pavers" for the sidewalks and driveway!!
Upon arrival, you will come down the new paver walkway after passing under one of two arbors or down the new widen paver driveway and enter the cottage through the charming Dutch doors. The open and bright downstairs, with red oak floors, gives one the immediate feeling of being welcome! The completely renovated kitchen in 2008 with all new appliances and an adjoining dining area compliment the relaxing feeling of the living room with spectacular Cape Cod Bay views.
The downstairs also includes a full bathroom with walk-in shower and a bedroom with day bed and trundle to sleep two and the new "Mudroom" with direct access to the outside deck and porch from the bedroom. Also, for those warmer days, the ceiling fans in both the living room and bedroom will help keep you cool along with the ocean breezes from the many windows.
Enjoy the entertainment center which graces the living room and includes a 40" LCD (over the mantel/fireplace) - HDTV with surround sound, iPod docker with speakers, AM/FM stereo, CD/Blueray DVD (plays regular DVD too) player. (You may rent DVD's at a nearby store in Orleans). The downstairs is completed with a beautiful brick and tile fireplace for added warmth if you prefer over the oil heating when the temperature gets chilly.
Walk up the red oak staircase and new oak hallway and enjoy the master bedroom with TV/DVD, brand new carpet, built-ins along with the king size bed and right down the hall to the second larger bedroom with a queen size bed. Both bedrooms are completed with cathedral ceilings, ceiling fans and, best of all, the ocean bay views. The upstairs also includes a full bathroom with walk-in shower and new tile floor. There is a washer and dryer down the hall for your convenience also.
For additional outside entertainment, walk out the sliding glass door off the living room/kitchen or out the new Mudroom room and enjoy the deck with a picnic table, umbrella, chairs/lounges, and screened-in porch with all new furniture. Three steps down bring you to the gas grill and your very own hot/cold outdoor shower to rinse off the salt/sand from the bay/beach or coming back from the many outstanding public beaches surrounding Wellfleet.
On the other side of the deck is the screened-in porch or walk down another three steps to the hammock and boardwalk leading to another 28 STEP stairway to your OWN sandy beach and water. The deck offers outrageous and fabulous water vistas and is ideal for sunset viewing while sipping on your favorite beverage or enjoying any meal.
NOTE: We also provide, if needed, a "Pack & Play". The parking area allows for two cars or one car and a boat.

Why the Owner Chose Wellfleet
The question is: "why did I choose to buy here in the Wellfleet area?" Well, that's a no brainier for me.....it's the VIEW; I'm right on the Bay side - 28 steps down to your own beach, sand and water - how's that for a back yard...ha!! It's also the SUNSETS while sitting on the deck or in the screened in porch or just chilling out in the hammock. I've taken pictures; but, it just doesn't seem the same as seeing it live and in person! It's also feeling PRIVATE at WINDSONG...not having neighbors walk in or being disturbed or looking at your neighbors house! It's also having my beautiful GARDENS (I have five garden areas around the house:):) and they are blooming from early Spring until the Fall! I'm what you might call a "garden putter"...ha! And, finally, I love quaint WELLFLEET town...quite a few interesting shops and good restaurants are to be found in and around town! I love the Drive-In theater, live theater shows at W.H.A.T (Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater), taking walks at one of our parks or along the beaches, seeing the fishing boats docking at the harbor, minature or regular golf and so much more. There's fun and adventure for everyone here!!

hi...my name is Mike and I'm retired.... love it too!!! Gives me more time to visit with my four children, nine grandchildren and WINDSONG (My slice of heaven here on Cape Cod Bay:):). Now that I have retired up here at WINDSONG permanently I can watch the beautiful sunset ALL THE TIME:):) I must admit that the Spring, Fall and Winter are the best times up here for me. Sure it might get cold.....but I have propane heat and a wonderful fireplace - all I have to do is throw another few logs on the fire and watch the snow or sleet fall outside:):) I love jazz and use to have my own band in college and grad. sch.; these days I'm content just seeing a few festivals, concerts and hearing the good sounds from my CD and I-Pod player...ha!! I bought WINDSONG back in 1991 and wouldn't trade it for the world!! I KNOW you will enjoy WINDSONG as much as I do. What a great place to forget your stresses, work and worries!! Just kick back with some wine in your hammock and ENJOY.........

We have stayed at Windsong for two summers, and look forward to being there for "our time" throughout the year. Over the years we have rented many other Cape homes, but this one truly is Heaven. Mike and Debby have been so generous and have thought of everything to make a perfect bayside vacation. Windsong is a very comfortable and well-appointed home, overlooking the beautiful harbor and Great Island - close to everything but still offering privacy and peacefulness. We especially love the screened porch, which is the perfect place for reading until far past sunset. We have teenagers, and it's been wonderful to have a place for them to bike and swim, with just enough freedom, but all the while being safe and close by. We all really love this "little piece of heaven by the bay" and can't wait until next summer!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

What a great place. We've spent lots of time on the Cape, but this house & beach location was perfect for our family getaway. Michael has put alot of thought and care in creating a restful place to enjoy the Cape's beauty. We swam, paddled and enjoyed the beach, deck & house every day. We hope to be back at Windsong soon!

I had fond memories of staying on the Cape when I was a kid, and I wanted to find a place that would live up to those memories. Windsong was it!!!! This time I brought my husband and my in-laws, and I have to say that EVERY possible comfort and convenience was thought of (thanks, Mike!!!) - it truly felt like we were at home away from home. The view literally took our breath away, the hammock was the PERFECT hammock, the house was just beautiful, and you just can not beat the location. We are looking forward to making the trip back someday!! Thanks again to Mike and his family for being generous enough to share their perfect, perfect home with us.

We have rented down Cape Cod for the last 10 years and stayed at various homes at Wellfleet and Nantucket and we can say we finally found the PERFECT home to rent!!! We have a seven and three year old and they had a terrific time and my husband and I could relax!! Watching the sunset and listening to the ocean in the evening was the ultimate Cape Cod vacation!! What a fantastic place to stay for a vacation! After coming back three years in a row, we will definitely return again. The views, the house and the sunsets relaxed us so much and the owner provides a lot of information on places to go and things to do. The house was clean and comfortable and you can tell it is well cared for. You couldn't ask for more!
