The "Shining Sea" bike path meanders through the back section of the property. The home has two master suites, 3 decks, and a large screened in porch. One master resides in a private wing with cathedral ceilings, and private stairway access, has king-size bed, and bath with jacuzzi tub. The other master has a queen-size bed and full bath. Each master has a private furnished deck with ocean views. There is also another bedroom on the main level with a queen-size bed and full bath. Two other bedrooms upstairs are furnished with two twin beds each, and they share another full bath. The family room has a flat sceen TV, wet bar, and a large bay window for enjoying the ocean view. There is a furnished screened porch off the kitchen, and a large furnished deck off of both the screened porch and kitchen. There are ceiling fans in each bedroom and the screened-porch. This is a "one-of-a-kind property! It is NOT your typical Woods Hole rental. Exquisite perennial gardens throughout the property. All gardens are professionally landscaped with a variety of daylilies, roses, hydrangeas, arbor and much, much more. It has the feel of a private home with a "Pottery Barn" type decor. This was our first time vacationing in Woods Hole, Ma. Our family 8 adults & 4 children had a wondwrful time. The home is beautiful,clean, spacious and comfortable. The yard, gardens & ocean view are breathtaking. Location is private, but minutes away to shops & restaurants in Woods Hole & Falmouth Village. We would definately rent this property again.

The house is so comfortable, the views and property are picturesque, the location on the bike path is super-convenient. I can go days without getting into the car with Falmouth and WH just 15-20 minutes away on bicycle. The owner goes to great lengths to maintain this house and it really shows. My son and daughter love the single-bed bedrooms and I love the terraces off the larger bedrooms!

We had a range of ages from 2 to 62 and everyone had a great time. This is a great house in a great location. It is truly hard to find anything negative to say.The VRBO description does not do it justice. We ate almost every meal in the screened porch looking out over the beautiful gardens through the trees to the ocean. The bike path is very nice, especially being able to zip into Woods Hole so quickly. We swam at the sandy beach and put kayaks in right at the rocky beach. If you are a runner the road around Nobska Lighthouse into Woods Hole is a beautiful way to start the day. Nice restaurant in Falmouth, Cape Cod League baseball, aquarium in Woods Hole, etc., etc. We will be back next year!

Location of this home is perfect. Short bike ride/walk/jog into Woods Hole for fresh popovers for breakfast, tour the aquarium or hop on the ferry to M.Vineyard/Nantucket. Head the other direction on the bike path into Falmouth to the gym, marina, tons of restaurants, shoppng, and more. If it were not for the desire to explore the Cape Cod area, I could have lived without my car all week! The home had all the neccessities, and more. The decor is inviting, comfortable and obvious care was taken in selecting each and every piece. The screened in porch was the hub of the house. The decks are awesome for sunbathing, reading and chilling out. The yard plenty big for frisbee throwing, football, soccer, etc. The private beach is a combo of sand and rocks, shoes are helpful; beach chairs work great and the water is as blue as the caribbean. The boys fished every day off the jetty. We found starfish and a huge live conch (welk). The sandy public beach is a quick walk down the path. We visited the Cape in early June so the crowds had not moved in yet. It was a perfect week!

This is a wonderful vacation home. From the beautifully decorated home, to the perfectly landscaped yard it is very relaxing and inviting. Love the access to the bike trail and Woods Hole is such a great little town. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Cape.

I feel so fortunate to have found this property online. I was looking for a house big enough to house 2 grandparents, 2 daughters with respective familes of four and six. The description seemed perfect and after a discussion with the owner I was convinced. It turned out to be everything and more. It met our needs perfectly, the house was lovely and homey, clean and family friendly. We were pleasantly surprised to find the over the garage quarters were actually attached to the house as we weren't certain from the pictures. We didn't ask because it didn't matter. We were able to walk to a sandy beach to swim but also took advantage of the private, more rocky beach. We enjoyed walking around Woods Hole and their restaurants and also Falmouth and it's lovely shops and restaurants. We rented bikes for a few days which kept the young men occupied, and took a ferry one day to Nantucket. We also took advantage of grilling at "home" and having dinner on the screened porch. The gorgeous front yard was the perfect place for the children to play and run around while grandad took a snooze in the hammock. Everyone enjoyed our time together there in that perfect setting. It is like being in your own home, that you have taken great care to decorate and furnish, and landscape. The outdoor shower was widely used with the little ones, and the deck there was an inviting place to sit and have a drink and just enjoy the view and the nice weather. The grounds of the home were so lovely that it was a pleasure just to be there!!! It was a trip that everyone left saying we have to do that again next year!!! The owner was extremely helpful in answering all questions. I would recommend this property without hesitation. I guess it says something that the 3 younger girls, ages 3,5,and 7 did not want to go anywhere else--they wanted to stay at "their beach house".
