A beautiful home with the location you desire and tropical surroundings with views of the spectacular waterways in every direction from every room! Setting on large intersecting canals offers bragging rights with so much incredible waterfront your very own. Come to Cape Coral for the weather, enjoy the comforts of our newly decorated warm and inviting home with the quiet and peacefulness you are searching for so you can relax. It’s the perfect place.
Tucked in the Four Mile Cove private residential area, you will find quiet and serene surroundings. This area is bordered by the ecological park where you can go hiking, biking or even rent kayaks, and also keeps traffic down to a minimum and contributes to the privacy and placidness of the neighborhood. In the mornings neighbors will take their pooches out for a morning stroll or joggers will be starting their day and everyone is always so friendly.
Pull into the drive to find fresh Foxtails and Pineapple palms along with other tropical landscaping to assure you this is the Florida lifestyle. Notice the huge oversized corner lot that offers plenty of room to play. Enter the home into the entry and great room with the open floor plan and cathedral ceilings. Notice the fresh paint and newly decorated home done with the tropical theme, all updated when we purchased the home in the Spring of 2012. Feel welcome by the warm colors of sunsets and fresh greens throughout the great room, dining and kitchen and you will believe this is the right place. This is what you were searching for when you wanted to find the perfect Florida home to stay and enjoy. Unwind in the living room on the amazing softness of the large microfiber couch, cuddle on the love seat, or kick your legs up to stretch on the chair and ottoman. The wall of mirrors and pocket shelving give the illusion that this room is even larger than it is. Visit with the family or watch a movie. Open up the triple sliding glass doors and the lanai and pool feel like they are part of the living area, with the canal right on the other side, lined with palms creating your own haven, bringing the outside in. This is definitely what you wanted.
It’s hard to decide if you should go right out and stay under the huge lanai and start right by the pool or investigate the rest of the house! It’s a pretty lovely home so far, so let’s go back inside, because once you go out to the pool you will want to stay for hours. To the left front of the great room you will host your formal dining at the large table for six with comfy cushion chairs in front of a huge window. Minty green hues feel fresh and alive. The parrots found in the paintings keep things from getting too serious, because this is Florida and here we like to keep things amusing. There is a small partition wall that breaks up the dining area from the kitchen to offer some discretion for the chef, but you can circle around the wall for ease. Notice the cute cut out in the wall that opens into the large living room so everyone can be social and the entertainment stays friendly and fun.
To the left, on the back side of the house, is a breakfast bar that separates the kitchen from the living area. The chef doesn’t ever have to feel alone in the kitchen, but can continue to visit and appreciate their company. The bar provides three high stools that provide a perfect socializing area. Here you still are sitting right by the lanai and are very pleased with life indeed. In the warm sunset shades, the kitchen will offer plenty of space to be creative with your meals. A breakfast nook is tucked in with a round table to sit four to share the morning and more views of the canals and pool. Perfect.
Enter the expansive master suite through the french doors off to the right of the great room. This half of the house is yours. Done in majestic blues and softer hues of the seas and sky creates the essence of peace and serenity. Two double sliding glass doors boast more awe-inspiring views of the pool and canals. You can feel yourself breathe deep and sigh. Yes. You have made a very good choice. The queen bed is new and very comfy and sleep will be easy with the soft sounds of the water lapping from outside and the breeze swishing the palms. The dolphins dance on the wall and bedside lamps and you smile just because. There is an abundance of room for unpacking, with a tall dresser for him and a long dresser for her, providing a large mirror. I doubt anyone can fill the immense walk thru closet that leads into the grand master bath. Again the majestic blues continue so you can start your morning refreshed and untroubled. Relish your thoughts or have no cares at all while the luxurious flow of the water cleanses your body and soul in the spacious walk-in shower. The gorgeous granite vanity along with another huge vanity with dual sinks and imposing mirrors offers more than ample space for a couple to get ready for the day or an evening out.
Over to the left of the central living area you will find two more bedrooms that share a common bath. This bathroom has a shower/bath that the kids can utilize while the 3-D metal wall art sea turtles watch over them from the seagreen colors. You will find easy access to and from the lanai here as well, making changing from swimsuits easier and keeping the excess water from dripping all throughout the home.
The 2nd bedroom again carries the deep blue colors but offering a sailors theme so your company can drift away in their own thoughts and spend their restful nights. This room provides gigantic sleeping quarters. Another new queen mattress is here and a surprise Murphy Bed drops down from behind the wall that can host two more visitors if needed. A huge closet allows plenty of clothing and storage. A large built in desk area with plentiful shelving is found in this room for those of us who need to accomplish at least a little bit of work while we are away at play.
The 3rd bedroom is adorable with honeydew and bright colors for kids to make their own private time. They will love the chunky wooden bunk beds with a double bed on the bottom and a twin on the top, of course with a railing. The cheerful parrots are visiting them in the painting, keeping them company and making them feel safe in their slumber. More room for unpacking for them in their own dresser or closet. Open the shades to bring more outside views of sunshine and waterviews.
Now that everyone is all unpacked and loving the house it is time to make way to where everyone really wants to be... outside to the lanai and pool. This capacious area welcomes all to relax, visit, play or dine. Many mornings this is where I start my day sipping coffee and enjoying a slow swim with breast strokes lazily back and forth in the extravagant heated pool. Perhaps I will finish my warm up with a cool down in the spa, listening to the overflowing waterfall as it spills over the glass blocks into the pool. The palms that line our canal sing to me their own song of peace as the water of the canals are so close I can almost reach over from the lanai to touch the saltiness. Plenty of cushiony comfort is found for lounging either under cover to escape too much heat and sun exposure or go ahead and soak up the rays and feel the warmth. Take a nap or read a book. There is no schedule here. Now the kids take their turn in the pool while you watch over them or join in the fun.
Take a stroll down to the boat dock and sit on an adirondack chair while you watch the fish jump and play, sometimes possibly even a dolphin, manatee or even an alligator may be seen. Try your luck at catching some fish right out of the canal. Boaters drift through the canals on their way out to the Gulf. Perhaps you toy with the idea of renting a boat for yourself, with only 10 minutes out to the river and on the way to the Gulf.
Many evenings are spent outside, wanting to take full advantage of every waking moment. A new propane grill is located under the lanai for the barbecue chef in the family to prepare wonderful delights to serve at the large glass table top for dining six in cushion chairs. Watch the intense sunsets that reflect on the waters as you reflect on how lucky you are and how perfectly your vacation and stay have been. The pool beckons for one more swim with the pool lights on to complete the day and you are so utterly pleased and at peace. It’s hard to remember their are neighbors in this so quite neighborhood. You believe this truely is a private paradise created just for you.
If you are looking for more adventures, you certainly do not have far to go. Just out of Four Mile Cove, 1/2 mile away, there is tons of shopping and conveniences, restaurants, spas, fine dining, night clubs, fitness center, even bowling. A quick car ride you have to go visit possibly either Sanibel for shelling and shopping (1/2 hour drive) or Captiva Island a little farther away (1 hour drive) or sprawling Fort Myers Beach with the baby powder soft white sand (1/2 hour away). The Yacht Club and Marina is only 10 minutes away. Here is a small beach that has a fishing peer out to the river. It is a fun night out, possibly dinner at my favorite restaurant, Rumrunners. Sometimes they have live bands right outside to enjoy summer nights. Stroll the boardwalk to examine the luxurious boats and yachts as they wait parked ready to go back out sailing. Take the kids to visit and play all day at Sun Splash Water Park only minutes away. Golfers will not have to look far for a favorite place to play with many choices near by. Perhaps even take the Key West Express for a round trip boat ride down to Key West.
Wether you are looking for the ultimate rest and relaxation or more advantageous, a return visit may be in store for you each year. You have found just what you were looking for right here.

About the owner: Mike and I live in the very rural area of Gainesville, NY in a custom built log home. We have been blessed with two boys that are turning into fine young men. Our oldest is in his junior year of college for civil engineering and our other son is in his junior year of high school and extremely talented football player and wrestler. We spend many weekends cheering him on. Both boys help us tremendously with responsibilities that we have for work and on our ranch. We are outside loving people and very active. Our place is a lot of work, but it is all worth it. It was our dream that we designed and built. During the summer our life is quite hectic. We have beautiful land on the highest point in the County with a breathtaking view that you can see for miles and miles. Our home is also a beef ranch that keeps us quite busy. Also I am very involved with my two horses. I enjoy trail riding on the property through the woods with my quarter horse Chevy and my thouroughbred, Rambo, that I jump and show with. During the riding months I try to ride every day because it is something I had dreamed about as a child but did not have the opportunity to do until 12 years ago. So we work hard and play hard. During the winter we snowmobile as much as we can. But winter can be very long and harsh and it is a luxury to have the opportunity to get away to sunny Florida.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, Southeast:
We have ventured in many places in Florida, however we have found Cape Coral just lovely. The coast is often windy, making it quite chilly. I fell in love with the mild Gulf side. Cape Coral is not the big tourist trap, which I appreciate. I want my quiet place to relax and unwind and forget all the busy activity and troubles. This place is perfect. However there are plenty of places close by for more activity and for the boys. Of course everyone loves the beach, and Fort Myers Beach is lovely with the powder sand and Sanibel is awesome as well for shelling and swimming in the calmest waters that are part of the ocean. I fell in love with this house, we call “The Crib”. I thouroughly enjoyed redoing the interior design of the home, making it the perfect escape to the tropics. We just do not have the time to spend there yet, so we decided to share our home for others to enjoy when we just can’t. I think many will fall in love with our second home as well.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We had been searching for a few months for the right place in Cape Coral. The location in the quiet residential neighborhood is important to me. The huge over-sized corner lot is extravagant . All this is great, however as soon as I walked into this house I knew it was everything we were looking for. I love the vaulted ceilings, the wall of mirrors and pocket shelving making the great room feel enormous. I love the open layout. Best of all are the pocket doors that open up and tuck away into the wall and the lanai and pool area are literally part of the living space. And THE VIEW! The intersecting large canals are RIGHT THERE! This is everything I was searching for. There are many details of the quality home's design that just make it all perfect. I love the french doors that lead to the master suite. It makes it your personal private haven and I feel like a queen. I love the arched shelving space carved in the wall as you enter the master. I love every inch of the master - the two double sliding doors giving me my private entry to the lanai and incredible views of so much canal and the pool. I love all the closet space, of course every girl wants a walk-in closet that leads right to an enormous beautiful bathroom. I love the split lay out design with the master suite on one side and the two other bedrooms on the other side of the huge central area. There is plenty of space for everyone to have privacy but the best part is the areas where every one can join together as a family or with friends.
