About the owner: Mark grew up in the Cedar Grove area and on the farm where we now live. We are 5th generation on the farm. We have a working dairy farm -milking 130 cows and a herd of 26 llamas and 2 alpacas and a dog, Samson, and a few farm cats. I was born in Germany and moved to America with my family when I was 6. We moved to Iron Mountain, Michigan, where we learned to speak English and American way of life. I moved to the huge city of Sheboygan after graduation where Mark & I met.
We bought land from Mark's parents on the east side of I-43 and east of Mark's parents farm. We lived there until Mark's parents retired from farming and Mark took over the farm. Mark's parents moved into our house and we moved into the farm home. We currently live and work on the farm, which is about 4 miles from the vacation house. Can you tell we LOVE this area!!!!?
Why the Owner Chose Oostburg: We wanted to purchase this property back because we LOVE the location and Brigitte's dad helped build it. It was our first home, and lots of great memories here with our kids being little.
