Our cozy log cabin was built in 1924 and despite the addition of indoor plumbing, phone and electricity it has retained all of its original charm. The main room (about 460 square feet) has a big stone fireplace and the cabin looks west over Lake Michigan.
There is a sleeping loft, a kitchen ell and a full bath. The loft has a double bed, the main room has a double futon and two single beds.
The cabin is nestled in the woods and sits about 60 feet from Lake Michigan and a beautiful beach. It is located in a quiet association and is about two miles north of downtown Good Hart and it is about a 20 minute drive to town ( Harbor Springs).
The location offers guests unlimited swimming, beach walks, hiking in the woods and bike riding along scenic Lake Shore Dr.- Northern Michigan's famous Tunnel of Trees. Evenings bring incredible sunsets, marshmallow roasting, reading and games - no TV reception here (we promise you won't miss it).
We ask that our quests leave it clean (easy to do - it's a low maintenance cabin) or we can arrange for cleaning service at an additional charge. Please contact us for additional information.
